Chapter 9

                 Jungkook have been wondering why Seokjin wasn't coming back yet to the room also his two bestfriends, Yoongi and Taehyung. It's almost time for their next class. The other students were already entering the room, not too long he saw his mint green haired guy friend, Yoongi nodded at him.

                Yoongi had go back to his old self again since the day he started doing that thing, he was wondering what happened to his friend, they're not hanging out lately so he didn't have any news about his two bestfriends, maybe he should call them out to hang out to his house. And speaking of friends, he noticed that since the morning Taehyung couldn't erase the smile on his face, he noticed that something had changed with his blond friend and he wondered what had happened to him.

                And speaking of Taehyung, his blond friend entered the room and looked like he just woke up, Taehyung nodded and smiled at him then went to his own chair. He looked around and saw that most of his classmates have already comeback except the person he was waiting for. 

                After a few minutes he saw that Seokjin was already entering the room, the boy was wearing his glasses again and as always he was wearing his mask, he remembered that Seokjin stopped wearing that 5 days after he came to the class. He watched Seokjin walking towards his chair beside him near the window.

               Seokjin sat quietly on his chair, Jungkook watched the boy, he noticed that somehow the boy with a mask looked happy, he wondered why. Jungkook looked at the lunch box that Seokjin gave him, he would gave it back later, when the class was over, he smiled. Not too long their teacher for the next subject came and the class started.

                On the middle of the class session, Jungkook found himself looking at Seokjin who that time was resting his chin on one of his hands on the top of the table while listening to their teacher, somehow Jungkook found that sight quite peaceful, Seokjin looked peaceful especially when the wind blew gently on the open window that made Seokjin's hair dance along with its breeze. At that very moment Jungkook wondered how Seokjin would look like without his mask.

              He didn't know why but at that very moment while looking at Seokjin he felt like he was like standing in the middle of a flowery field and just enjoying the gentle wind, it was so peaceful and Jungkook felt like he wanted to just sleep as if some unknown force was lulling him to that.

             As if sensing that someone was watching him, Seokjin looked beside him, Jungkook was snapped out from his thoughts and immediately looked away, so when Seokjin found out that no one was watching him, he looked in the front again and listened to the teacher.

            Jungkook on the other hand sighed, he almost got caught. "What was that?" he asked himself and shook his head, there's no way he could feel that, just there's no way especially when he was still hoping to see the ethereal boy from that night. Maybe it was just because he was shocked that Seokjindid something for him and he never expected that especially when he knew that he have done something wrong to the boy especially at that cafeteria scene, yes that was the only reason, he told himself.

            Taehyung was on the other side of the room but he could clearly see Seokjin, he was smiling to himself the whole time remembering the scene just a while ago in the rooftop where he found himself lying his head on Seokjin's shoulder while the boy with the mask was also leaning to him(on his head) while sleeping, he didn't know when he fell asleep but it was nice. Also if anyone could see them right now, they would think that the scene was kind of romantic and he couldn't help but smile at that thought.

            Also though he was already awake, he didn't bother to move because Seokjin's shoulder was comfortable and listening to his soft and gentle breathing made Taehyung want to sleep more, made him feel peace. Seokjin's gentle breathing was like a music to the ear, that was what he thought while smiling, maybe he could get use to this, he loved it, he loved the warmness of Seokjin, he decided that he would hold onto him.

          While just laying his head on Seokjin's shoulder, a sudden realization hit him, Seokjin was sleeping right now and it means a chance to see Seokjin's real face. So Taehyung quietly and carefully moved away from Seokjin to not to wake him up and he sat in front of the sleeping boy.

          And Taehyung was speechless when he saw how peaceful Seokjin was while sleeping though he have his mask covering half of his face and it gave a warm feeling to Taehyung's heart, Seokjin looked vulnerable but also soft and peaceful. Taehyung just sat there and watched Seokjin sleep, a some point he wanted to remove the mask from Seokjin face to know and see how the boy looks like but he didn't. He just couldn't bring himself t do that especially when he remembered that Seokjin didn't want it and Taehyung didn't want to ruin their friendship that was just starting.

           He didn't want to destroy Seokjin's trust on him just because of curiosity and he knew that time would come that Seokjin would finally show him his face, he hoped so.  So he just sat there and silently watched Seokjin and somehow he didn't want this scene or memory to fade and be forgotten so he took his phone out and secretly took photos of sleeping Seokjin. He smiled while looking at the photos of Seokjin that he was taken, the boy looked so cute and soft, he would definitely keep it.

            He was brought back to reality when the teacher called him, he didn't even know that he spaced out. He stood up and the teacher asked him what was he's view about the word 'happiness', they were in their philosopy with slight poetry class. Taehyung was suddenly filled with some unknown emotions but he didn't know what to answer but his eyes landed on Seokjin who was looking at him that time along with his other classmates who were waiting for his answer, his eyes remained on Seokjin and smiled.

           " Happiness is like watching the butterflies fly on the air while enjoying the gentle wind. Happiness is when you are eating with your friends. Happiness is watching and appreaciating little things and lastly happiness is when you could see the beauty of things and life." 

            He answered, the whole class applauded but his eyes was Seokjin and they locked eyes, he smiled at the boy before he sat back on his seat. ' Happiness is Seokjin' his mind shouted.

             The class ended and it's time to go home, the students started leaving the room but Jungkook was still sitting on his seat, he looked beside him and saw that Seokjin was also starting to pack his things, he looked around and saw that everybody already left the room even his best friends.

             Jungkook looked at the lunch box inside his bag, he would retur it to Seokjin but he didn't know how to approach the boy and he was nervous. But then he reminded himself that it should be easy, just give the lunch box, say thank you and then leave. So he took out the lunch box and inhaled. Seokjin was about to leave the room so he called him.

           "Kim Seokjin" he called, saying Seokjin name just made him more nervous, it was his first time saying Seokjin's name in front of Seokjin himself. The boy with a mask turned around and looked at him, Jungkook looked away as he felt the warm on his cheek and extended his hand that was holding the lunch box towards Seokjin.

             "I'm giving it back, thank you for the food. You didn't have to do it."  He said without looking at Seokjin, he felt embarassed. He felt that Seokjin got the lunch box, silence fell between them. Jungkook heard the lunch box being opened and it stopped then suddenly he was enveloped into a hug.

               He froze, Kim Seokjin was hugging him, then Seokjin pulled out and a smile was visible on his lips even with his mask covering it. Jungkook didn't know what or how to react, he just stood there looking shock but he felt it, he felt the warmness of Seokjin even though the boy just hugged him shortly. 

              "Thank you for this" Seokjin said while looking at the strawberry and chocolate flavored cupcakes on the lunch box that Jungkook had returned to him. Those were his favorites so he couldn't help but feel happy and smile. He didn't know that Jungkook would to this so as a gratitude he hugged him, he just felt so happy that he hugged Jungkook and it's normal, his mother told him that.

             On the other hand Jungkook had already recovered from the shock, he looked at Seokjin who was still looking at the cupcakes. He thought about it earlier, in their break time. He thought of what he would give Seokjin in return as a gratitude for the foods he gave him so he went to cafeteria and looked for foods, he noticed that Seokjin loves foods so he thought maybe it would make the boy with a mask happy. While looking around the cafeteria, the cupcakes caught his eyes so he bought them.

             And now looking at Seokjin who looked happy assured him that the boy liked it, but also it meant nothing, just showing his gratitude, that was what Jungkook thought. " It's a payback for the food" he said, he knew that he was blushing and hoped that Seokjin wouldn't notice it, no he was just blushing because he felt embarrased and awkward. Seokjin just smiled and bowed at him.

            Silence fell between them again, Jungkook felt awkward so he cleared his throat and made himself excuse. Seokjin thanked him again, he nodded at the boy before leaving the room. When he was already outside he inhaled deeply, he put his hand on his chest and felt that his heart was beating so fast. 'No this is nothing, this is nothing okay?" he repeated to himself as he walked towards the car that was waiting for him.

             He was not feeling something, it's just nothing, he have already liked the ethereal boy on his parents' party, so it was just nothing, Jungkook thought.

             Seokjin was so happy, though he and Taehyung didn't have the time to bid goodbyes to each other after the class ended, he was happy because Jungkook might have accepted his apology, the raven haired even bought some cupcakes that he really likes for him. He thought that Jungkook was a kind person and that made him smiled.

              He ate the cupcakes on his way home, when he was finished eating he just looked outside the window. The sceneries outside were beautiful and made him smile.When the car reached the house, he immediately stepped out and run inside it, the house felt empty, he knew that his parents were going to a business trip today so it was just him and the maids at home tonight, it was the first time he went home without his parents so he felt a bit sad.

             It was just 4 p.m so he went to his room and changed his uniform with fresh clothes. He suddenly felt tired so he walked towards his room's terrace and sat on the rocky chair. The wind that was blowing gently embraced him, it felt peaceful so not too long Seokjin already felt that his eyes were getting heavy and he after few minutes drifted to sleep.

             In a beautiful field where the birds were singing an unknown songs,where butterflies were dancing, where the trees were moving and swaying to the sound of the wind and where the flowers were quietly smiling, children(around 8 years old) laughters could be heard. Two children were chasing each other and running on the field, all smiley and happy. Playing around like they're on their own world.

             The first one have a soft face like an angel and pinkish golden hair and the other one have a firm and grayish silver hair but soft face and both were beautiful. The two were just fooling around each other, the first one chased the second one and when the pinkish golden hair child caught the grayish silver hair one, it tickled it and the latter giggled, and the tickling continued until both of them were laying on the soft grass.

           They stopped and just laid on the grass next to each other, they silently watched the clear blue sky with smile on their faces. "Look that cloud looks like a rabbit" the grayish silver hair child said while pointing out the cloud, the golden hair one looked up, his eyes sprakled. 

            " It's so cute" the pinkish golden hair one said while giggling, the grayish silver hair one just looked at the golden hair one and smiled. "Look that one looks like a flower" the golden hair excitedly said while looking at the one cloud floating on the sky, the grayish silver one averted his eyes on the sky, the cloud really looks like a flower.

             "That one looks like a bee" 

             "That cloud looks like a butterfly"

             "That clouds looks like you"  the silver hair one said smiling while pointing at the slight pinkish golden cloud, the pinkish golder hair one looked at it and smiled, the cloud outstanded all the floating clouds, its the most beautiful one. The pinkish golden hair shifted and was now facing the grayish silver hair one.

             "If you think that beautiful cloud up looks like me then do I look beautiful?" the pinkish golden hair one asked smiling, the grayish silver hair one looked at the pinkish golden hair one and found it smile so innocent and pure. The grayish silver hair one blushed and sat up and looked away.

              "Of course you are, even more beautiful than the cloud" the grayish silver hair who was now sitting on the grass said, the pinkish golden hair sat up in front of the grayish silver one then smiled at it. Then the pinkish golden hair one held the hand of the grayish silver who was all red.

              "Really? Do you really think I'm beautiful?" the pinkish golden hair asked beaming and with sparkling eyes, the grayish silver one just looked at the latter especially on its sparkling eyes, the grayish silver hair one was fascinated by the eyes of the pinkish golden hair one, it found the eyes so mesmerizing and as if they were casting a spell on it(grayish silver hair), pulling it on a beautiful abyss. The grayish silver hair one just stared at the pinkish golden hair. It was snapped out when the latter waved its' hand in front of the grayish silver hair.

              "Hello to the world!" the pinkish golden hair said while pouting. The grayish silver hair one blushed again and just smiled. "Yes, you're beautiful especailly your eyes, they are shining, they can make the stars look dull" the grayish silver hair one said sincerely while looking straight to the eyes of the pinkish golden hair one. The latter blushed.

              'ah eh....real..ly?" the pinkish golden hair one asked, stuttering with face that was all red. The grayish silver hair one nodded and smiled then ruffled the hair of the pinkish golder hair one. "You're so cute" it said and the latter smiled with teeth peeking. The pinkish golden hair one suddenly hugged the grayish silver hair one.

             "Woah you too are so cute and thank you" the pinkish golden hair one said happily as it hugged the grayish silver hair one even tighter, the latter hugged it back. The silver hair one felt the warmness of the golden hair one it was like the sun, radiating a comforting heat. The grayish silver one closed its' eyes and was feeling and treasuring the hug.

              Neither of the two pulled back from the hug, they just stayed like that until the butterflies flew around them as if it were celebrating with them, the scene was so surreal, the two were hugging with the butterflies floating or flying like bubbles around them. After a while the  two pulled out and just laughed while watching the butterflies, the grayish silver one intertwined their hands, the pinkish golden hair one smiled gently and softly at it, the latter's heart just melted.

              "When we grow up, I'll marry you" the grayish silver hair one said sincerely 

              "I will for that, I will wait for you" the pinkish golden hair replied

               Both of them smiled, neither of them knew the concept of love, all they knew especially the grayish silver hair one, that what was they were feeling right now was pure and real, yes they were still young but they were already capable of feeling something and that feeling would last forever.

              They laid again on the grass and were just watching the sky with smiles on their faces and with their hand being intertwined.

             "I love you" the grayish silver hair one whispered.

                Seokjin suddenly woke up, it was already dark, he felt the tears flowing from his eyes. Suddenly longing and sadness filled his heart, he felt like a part of him was missing, a big part of him was missing..  " I love you" those words echoed inside his head. He just sat their and cried. Cried for something he didn't know, he just cried, he just wanted to cry...

               "Where are you?" 

                Trickles of silverly moonlight flowed from it's eyes as it clutched its' heart...
