Friends

At Sarah’s house:

“I hope you can come here everyday” said Sarah.

“How come?” asked Gui Gui, curiously.

“Because I treat you as my daughter, my son went to U.S.A for his concert” said Sarah.

“Woah concert, he must be popular” said Gui Gui.

“Aiyo, he just do it for fun” said Sarah.

“Okay, he must be very talented” thought Gui Gui.

At school assembly:

“Let’s welcome the best piano player, Hebe” said the host.

Everyone claps

“Thank you everyone, I know this must be surprising but I am going to America for music experience” said Hebe.

Aaron eyes widen.

“I am dedicating this song to a person that I love” said Hebe, about to play the song on the piano.

Gui Gui felt sorry for Aaron, first she rejected his confession and now she is leaving and giving a big surprise to Aaron.

After Hebe finished playing, everyone clapped and screamed. Hebe walked to Aaron who was standing. Gui Gui looked as Hebe walked over to Aaron. Hebe hugged Aaron, Aaron was very disappointed and stood still. Gui Gui didn’t want Aaron to get hurt so she went over and grabbed Aaron’s hand. Aaron stared at Gui Gui confusingly, Hebe break the hug to see what’s happening.

“Let’s go” said Gui Gui, dragging Aaron out. Hebe just
stood there all blanked. Gui Gui dragged Aaron out of the assembly until Aaron shook off Gui Gui’s hand angrily.

“What do you think you are doing?” shouted Aaron, angrily.

“Helping you” said Gui Gui.

“What? Helping me?” shouted Aaron/

“Why are you shouting?” asked Gui Gui.

“Aish” sighed Aaron.

Aaron and Gui Gui sat somewhere quiet.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to be stubborn, I thought…” said Gui Gui.

“I had liked her for 3 years already when I first met her,
she was smart and talented, and I’ve known her better by
getting close to her, I thought she liked me but in the
end she chose career over love” said Aaron, tears were forming and he turned around so Gui Gui couldn’t see his tears but Gui Gui noticed already.

“So sad, he must have loved her very much, even the most popular Aaron is crying because of the girl” thought Gui Gui and stodd up.

“Let’s go” said Gui Gui.

“To where?” asked Aaron.

“You will know when we get there” said Gui Gui, pulling Aaron along.

When they arrived:

“Mountain?” said Aaron.

“Yep, I know you are feeling abit down~” said Gui Gui, awkwardly.

Aaron stared at her.

“Have you stared enough?” asked Gui Gui, looking at him.
Aaron looked away and faced the scenary.

“We are on top of the mountain now” said Gui Gui, standing
beside Aaron.

“Tsk, I drive everyday, you think I don’t know anything” said Aaron.

“Your so weird, stop changing the topic, your full complaining, I didn’t even say anything about you” said Gui Gui.

“Why did you bring here?” asked Aaron.

“Since no one is here, you can express your feelings” said Gui Gui.

“How?” asked Aaron.

“She is not worth for my heart” shouted Gui Gui as loud as she can, facing the scenery. “Go you try”.

“She is not worth my heart” said Aaron.

“Yah! You think you are whispering to an ant” said Gui Gui.

“She is not worth my heart” said Aaron, little bit louder.

“She is not worth my heart” shouted Gui Gui, again.

“She is not worth my heart” shouted Aaron.

“That’s right, express all the feelings from your heart” said Gui Gui.

“I won’t ever forgive you, Hebe for leaving” shouted Aaron. “Don’t ever come back, I bet you won’t find happiness, you…” when Gui Gui stopped him.

“Okay, enough you don’t have to say such harsh words” said Gui Gui.

“Did I go too far? Saying those words?” asked Aaron.

“Kinda, do you feel better now?” asked Gui Gui

“Yeh a lot better” said Aaron.

“That’s good” said Gui Gui, looking at the scenary.

“Thank you” said Aaron

Gui Gui looked at Aaron surprised.

“Why do you look surprised?” asked Aaron.

“I do?” asked Gui Gui.

“Yeh” replied Aaron.

Gui Gui hitted her cheeks lightly to stop her look.

“So are we friends now?” asked Gui Gui.

“Friends?” asked Aaron.

“Yeh” said Gui Gui.

Aaron turned to Gui Gui. “I guess…so”.

“Really? Made a new friend today” said Gui Gui, happily.

Gui Gui stood up and felt the wind. The wind became
stronger and more dust blew with the wind.

“Ah” screamed Gui Gui as the dust went into her eyes.

Aaron quickly stood up and hugged Gui Gui. His body was blocking the wind while Gui Gui was leaning on Aaron’s chest. Aaron’s jacket was covering her so the dust doesn’t come through. Gui Gui’s face turned red, she never knew Aaron would do that. After the wind has slow down, Aaron let’s go of Gui Gui, Gui Gui pretended to tidy her hair to stay away from the awkward moment
“Don’t misunderstand” said Aaron.
Gui Gui nodded to get back her senses. “I know, that is what a friend will do”.

“Yeh that is what a friend will do” said Aaron.

“Let’s go” said Gui Gui, getting on Aaron’s car.

Aaron took a deep breath and went in the car.
