Fear of losing you
Love's Misfortune... or not.“So what are you implying? You’re going to marry me off?”
Jongin held both of Kyungsoo’s hands with his own shaky ones.
“I don’t know because I’m not sure myself. I love you so much. You don’t know the things I’ve done for you. And maybe it’s too reckless but what the heck… it’s what this immature mind can think of.” Jongin kissed both of Kyungsoo’s hands.
“Jongin, just please get to the point.”
“Remember the day I fainted?” Jongin looked up at the stars.
“Yeah…” Kyungsoo gazed at Jongin.
“It was days after I found out that umma was marrying Jongdae hyung off with someone. I didn’t know it was you but maybe, I had a clue. I couldn’t sleep because I pity my hyung because… I’m afraid he’ll be in the hands of someone who can’t take care of him like we do.”
“Why didn’t you tell me? Or even Jongdae?”
“Because it was obvious that Jongdae hyung didn’t have a clue too. Like, he even dated Minseok hyung!”
“How did you know it was me then?”
“I followed you and hyung at the sea.” Jongin smirked sadly.
“So you heard…”
“And I couldn’t stop blaming myself after. For creating this mess.”
“D-Do you regret loving me?”
“I want to. I want to regret it so much. But I can’t. Because the pain I’m feeling right now isn’t as much as the happiness I felt when I had you.”
“You still have me, Jongin.” Kyungsoo cupped Jongin’s cheeks.
“I feel like you’re slowly slipping away.” Jongin’s tears started falling again.
Kyungsoo crashed his lips unto Jongin as he wrapped his arms around Jongin’s neck.
Jongin hesitantly placed his arms around Kyungsoo’s waist.
Baekhyun ran next to Jeonghan.
“Hyung, you’re here.”
“Seems like they’re doing fine now.” Baekhyun smiled in relief.
“Mhm. Sorry, hyung.”
“Aigoo, it’s the taxi driver’s fault for driving so slowly.” Baekhyun chuckled.
“Hyung.”
“Hmm?” Baekhyun turned to Jeonghan.
“Thanks.”
“For what?” Baekhyun raised an eyebrow.
“For always being there for all of us.” Jeonghan patted Baekhyun’s shoulder.
“Of course, that’s what’s friends are for.” Baekhyun winked at Jeonghan.
Wonwoo was painting and Seungcheol was watching him.
“You’re a really great painter, Wonwoo.”
“Thanks, hyung.” Wonwoo smiled.
“I’m guessing you’re planning to be a painter when you’re done with school, huh?”
“Nope.”
“Eh?” Seungcheol looked at Wonwoo in confusion.
“That’s more of Mingyu’s thing. I… to be honest, I started liking painting because of him.”
“Then what do you plan to be when you graduate?”
“Travel the world.” Wonwoo grinned.
“That’s it? What about expenses?”
“I’ll think about it after. It’s still a long way ahead, don’t you think?”
Suddenly, Wonwoo’s phone started ringing.
The number was unknown which made Wonwoo frown.
“Who is this?”
“Answer it.” Seungcheol shrugged.
And Wonwoo did answer the call.
“Hello?”
No reply.
“Umm, hello? Is anyone there?”
“The caller’s not answering?”
