Monday came and Moonbyul headed to the library straight after lectures ended. She looked around to see if Minhyuk was already there but he was nowhere to be found. She cleared the books from the return chute and placed them on the book trolley before steering it back to the counter where Mrs. Choi always worked. She carefully read the label / serial number of each book and sorted it the way Mrs. Choi had taught her before.

"Ms. Moon, sorry for being late." Moonbyul looked up and saw Minhyuk coming behind the counter she was working at. He put his bag down and took off his jacket before hanging it up at a suitable place. "Have you been here long?"

"Aniya, I just got here." Moonbyul shook her head gently and gave him a small smile. Moonbyul gestured to the counter and said "I cleared the chute, now I'm arranging them. Can you help me?" 

"Nae." Minhyuk said as he approached her and started working instantly. 

After a few hours of working, Minhyuk noticed that the library was almost empty. He glanced at the clock and it read 5:30pm. The library closes at 7pm daily if it isn't exam season, but it's usually empty by 6pm as many students would have left by then. He glanced at Moonbyul who was, crouched down, re-checking the books on the lowest shelf of one of the book trolley to make sure they arranged it correctly. Ever so often, she would adjust her glasses by pushing it up her nose bridge. Minhyuk approached her and cleared his throat. 

"So Ms. Moon, how has-" he started only to be cut off by the girl before him.

"Byul." She said simply.

"Sorry?" Minhyuk replied as he creased his eyebrows.

"Byul. That's what my friends call me." She explained, eyes never leaving the books on the trolley she was working with. 

"Mianhe." He apologised. "Byulssi, I was just going to ask you about your day.."

"It was alright." She said "The silence is killing you isn't it?"

"You have no idea!" He sighed heavily. Moonbyul chuckled and nodded. She got up as she was done with her inspection and looked at Minhyuk. 

"I don't think we've officially met." He said as she stood before him. "I'm Minhyuk. I'm in my final year in finance and accounting and umm.. the guy who bumped into you a week back." He introduced himself as he stuck his hand out for her to shake. She laughed slightly at the last line before shaking his hand.

"I'm Byul. Third year- software engineering." She said giving him a smile. 

They talked quietly about their courses and their interests while arranging the books back on their respected shelves. They were done by 6:45pm and decided to call it a day. 

"You've worked hard" they told each other politely. They exited the University building together.

"So I guess I'll see you around then?" Moonbyul said once they reached the entranced. 

"Oh? Ah nae." Minhyuk said in a daze. He didn't really want to part ways with her just yet- for some reason he doesn't know. "Would you like a ride? It's getting late. My car's just over-"

"Oh aniya. Thank you but I drove to university today. My car's parked just over the engineering faculty." She pointed across the campus. 

"I'll walk you to your car then." Minhyuk concluded simply. Moonbyul's eye shot up and was about to protest when Minhyuk beat her to it. "I insist."

They walked silently to Moonbyul's car together, the sun was beginning to set and Minhyuk was glad her accompanied her to the parking lot since it was dead empty- anything could've happened to her. 

"Are you sure you don't want a ride back to the main building?" Moonbyul asked for the second time. "It's quite far."

"Ani. Kwenchana." Minhyuk replied cooly.

Once they reached her car, Moonbyul turned to Minhyuk, thanked him for the ride and bid him farewell- bowing politely.

"One moment.." he started. He reached behind her and held the driver's side door handle which made the car automatically unlock. He then opened the door and gestured for her to get in. "Ms. Moon"

Moonbyul blushed at his actions and got into the car. He closed the door after her and watched as she started the engine. She rolled down her window and waved at him. 

"Take care. And thank you" she called out before driving home. He watched as she drove off and walked to his car with a goofy smile plastered on his face.

That night, after washing up and having dinner, Moonbyul joined Hwasa, Whee In and Solar in the living room. They were all doing their own thing. She took a seat by Whee In and was welcomed with Whee In setting a pillow on her lap and laying down on it. Whee In glanced up cutely at Moonbyul before proceeding to read her book. Moonbyul kept herself busy by playing a game on her smartphone. After beating her own high score 5 times in a row, her interest to continue the playing diminished. She looked around the room at her best friends and sighed. She had to talk to someone about it. 

"Guys.." she started, getting everyone's attention. "What does it mean when a guy is super nice to you?"

"Uhh, I guess it means that he's nice..?" Hwasa replied cooly. 

"Yeah. But what if he holds the door for you, walks you to your car and you may have caught him staring at you a few times?" Moonbyul couldn't help but blush as she said it. It was true though, she noticed. She wasn't one of the top students in her course for nothing.

"Oooooo" Whee In cooed as she sat straight up and wiggled her eyes at Moonbyul.

"WHY?" Solar asked instantly, her eyes filled with shock, curiosity and excitement - throwing the journal she was reading aside and flying to the couch where Moonbyul and Whee In sat. 

"It MAY have happened to me.." Moonbyul stated quietly. 

"NO WAY!" Solar exclaimed with crazy eyes. "WHEN? HOW DID I NOT KNOW? WHERE WAS I?"

"Okay, wrong move. I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here." Moonbyul backtracked. "Maybe he's just a gentleman. That's all. Forget I asked."

"Who's the guy?" Whee In asked tilting her head to one side as she furrowed her eyebrows. Byul winced slightly as she realised she wouldn't be able to get off of the topic. 

"Is it Lee Minhyuk?" Hwasa asked with a smirk as she casually flipped through the pages of her magazine. Moonbyul's eyes were wide in shock when she heard their maknae's line. Solar and Whee In's I-highly-doubt-it expression vanished when they saw Moonbyul's red face. 

"WHAT?!" exclaimed the two of them at the same time. 

"Hold on," Moonbyul said as she tried to calm them down. She turned back to Hwasa, "Hyejin-ah! How did you know?"

"Seriously?" Hwasa started, disbelief seen clearly on her face. She closed her magazine and faced the rest. "He drools over you all the time in the library."

"Really?" Whee In asked. "And how did you know this?"

"Maybe it's because I'm alert of my surroundings and observant unlike some people." Hwasa said sassily to Whee In who was now pouting. 

"Heyyyy" Whee In whined before fighting back, "Maybe some people were actually studying in the library instead of looking around." 

"Arasso arasso. That's enough you two." Solar said resolving the playful fight the maknaes were having. She then turned to Moonbyul who was still red in the face. "So..?" She smirked.

Moonbyul raised her eyebrows at the older girl "What?"

"BYULIE'S GOT A BOYFRIEND!" Solar teased repeatedly. 

"Unnie's got a boyfriend! Unnie's got a boyfriend! Unnie's got a boyfriend!" The maknaes joined in. Moonbyul let out a frustrated grunt and regretted bringing the topic up. It was gonna be a long night indeed.
