Tiffany blinked at the bouquet of pink roses in front of her then to the guy who's face was just as pink.
"P-please take it." The young man insisted with shaky hands.
"Yeah, sure. Thanks dude." Taeyeon grabbed the flowers and almost laughed at the guy's reaction. "I mean. Sure, she will take it home. I'll just hold it and wait there." She pointed at the nearby bench. "Well, good luck to you." A wide childish grin was plastered on her face as she patted his shoulder with much force than intended.
"U-uh... thanks...?" The guy looked at Taeyeon in confusion to which the petite girl waved her hand dismissively.

"So?" Taeyeon asked without looking away from her phone when Tiffany slumped on the bench next to her.
"So what?"
"How did the confession go?"
"Are you seriously asking me?" Tiffany tried to snatch away the phone but Taeyeon was fast enough to dodge her hand.
"Yeah, I am. I mean. I have the right to know." Taeyeon answered with a shrug.
"Have I told you how I just hate you sometimes?"
"Yeah. Like maybe about a million times since high school."
"Aren't you tired of hearing the same thing?"
"It depends though." Taeyeon pocketed her phone and shifted to completely face Tiffany. After arranging the flowers neatly, she scooted closer and held it out. "If it's from you, I won't ever get tired of it."
Tiffany knew the girl was doing all this smile-like-you-did-nothing-wrong thing on purpose. But oddly, it didn't stop her from returning the smile. "Are you seriously giving these flowers to me like you bought them with your own money?"
"Sure. I don't wanna put this to waste." Taeyeon grinned wider when Tiffany took the bouquet. "Do you like them?"
"Like what?"
"The flowers. They're definitely your type."
Tiffany looked up when Taeyeon snickered to herself. "What's wrong with you?"
"Nah, who are we kidding? I'm definitely much more your type." The petite girl almost giggled while drawing a heart on Tiffany's left cheek with her finger. "Am I right?" She tapped the said cheek before leaning back on her seat.
"I should've said yes to that guy." Tiffany deadpanned.
"Is this a threat?"
"Yes."
"I'm not threatened, though." Taeyeon shrugged nonchalantly, her eyes focused on the girl's frowning face.
"Well, you should be."
"Oh, please." Taeyeon snickered at the serious tone. "Sweetheart, we've been together for 3 years now. It takes more than a guy who's stupid enough to confess to a girl like you to threaten me." She took the girl's hand and absently played with her fingertips. "I mean. You? Choosing that guy over me?" She pointed at herself.
"I can't believe what I'm hearing right now."
"Oh please, babe. At least choose someone who's hotter than me?" Taeyeon burst out laughing at her own words. "Though I doubt you'll find a replacement." She finished it off with a wink.
"Oh god, you're unbelievable."
"Besides..." Taeyeon intertwined their fingers and smiled. "We're too in love with each other."
Tiffany just had to roll her eyes at the comment. "Ugh. Why are you..." She stood up then shook her head in disbelief.
"Are we leaving now?"
"No."
"Then wh..."
"I'm leaving you."
"See you later sweetheart!" Taeyeon called out and even waved her arms when Tiffany stomped away.
