CHAPTER 03

Siwon came back to the kitchen minutes later with just simple and comfortable sporty clothes. A different look that Kyuhyun used to see Siwon all the time. Elegant and on fashion.

Kyuhyun gulped when he saw Siwon coming into the kitchen. Even with simple clothes, the man looked stunning.

“Seun-ah is still sleeping” – Siwon said and sat next to the boy.

“She is a wonderful baby” – Kyuhyun commented and then joined Siwon in the table.

Siwon said a prayer before the delicious food in front of him and the boy followed him.

Then Kyuhyun cut the steak for Siwon and the latter smiled at the lovely action.

Siwon couldn´t help but eating the juicy steak like he was starving.

“Mmmm…the best I have ever eaten… - then he tasted the smashed potatoes – and this is heaven…mmm…have you ever considered to become a chef? You have talent, Kyuhyun”

Kyuhyun didn´t know what to say. He sometimes cooked for his roommate Changmin when they got a small kitchen.

“Not really…”

Siwon noticed a new blush in the boy´s cheeks so he decided to change the topic in order not to make the boy feel uncomfortable.

“By the way, when do you graduate?”

“In October”

“Mm…just two weeks for that. Are you nervous?”

“Yes. It has been long four years…”

“Are your grades good? Will you study in a University?”

“I can´t afford something like that…at least not with my babysitting salary” – Kyuhyun said a little bit ashamed of his condition.

This boy is so talented and he hasn´t even realized about it yet…and so cute to be a man…why can someone have such a milky skin and beautiful face? Even I can realize and admit his natural beauty…

Beauty?

Yeah…how didn´t I think about it before? Maybe through that he can get the money he needs to continue studying whatever he wants…

Siwon looked at Kyuhyun with determination.

“But what about with a model salary?”

Kyuhyun almost chucked the food he was eating. How the hell Siwon thinks he can be a model? Kyuhyun has never considered himself that beautiful. He knows how he looks. Of course he likes what he sees in the mirror but he also knows he doesn´t have the body of a model.

“You know they earn a lot of money. Sometimes even more than what I earn” – Siwon chuckled about that fact.

“No” – Kyuhyun answered quickly.

“No what?”

“I´m not interested to be a model”

“Why not?”

“Siwon…please look at me… - and Siwon did - do I look like a model?”

“You are stunning, Kyuhyun. Believe me…have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror?”

Kyuhyun nodded shyly.

“Well dear boy…you are tall, slim, with a beautiful face and body…have you ever noticed that you have perfect skin? You seem to shine…and your hair is beautiful too. Have I ever told you that you are even more beautiful than girls?”

Kyuhyun widened his eyes in awe. He felt flattered by Siwon´s compliments but he had always been so insecure about his skin and body that hearing those words from a handsome man made him feel happy in a way.

A model? Me? Kyuhyun laughed at the possibility. Can I?...says the man who really looks like a runaway model. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror, Siwon? You can leave every person breathless just with your presence…and that not counting on your to-die-for smile…

Kyuhyun kept on eating instead and focused on his food. His head was spinning with decisions and insecurities. Why is Siwon saying these kind of things? And why is Siwon so sure that he can be a model?

“Hey” – Siwon said knowing that the boy was struggling with something. He needed his attention.

Kyuhyun looked at him once more.

“Just think about it, Kyuhyun…we are always looking for new faces for different projects. I´m sure you will be a total success”

Maybe…maybe I could do it…

“Different projects?”

Siwon smiled. The boy seemed to consider his offer.

“I work for a big idols industry. Our company is constantly needing new faces for promotion of different things from make-up to clothes. The young girls and boys chosen for those projects are usually the next idols in the industry who then they are taught how to sing, dance and even act”

“D-do…do I have to wear make-up?”

“Yes. The make-up would only be for advertising…but it´s just a little”

“But…make-up is for girls!” – Kyuhyun blurted out.

Siwon laughed.

“Almost half of the people who work in the company are men. And they all wear make-up… Listen, not because they wear make-up, they are less men”

It was Kyuhyun´s turn to laugh.

They ended their dinner but when Kyuhyun was about to serve the dessert, they heard Seun cry.

“Let me bring her here” – Kyuhyun said and went upstairs. And then he came back to the kitchen with a beautiful baby in his arms who was still yawning.

The minute Seun saw the cake on the table, she tried to touch it.

“No…you are too young for sweets, Seun-ah” – Siwon warned but his daughter seemed to ignore him.

Kyuhyun took a bit of cream from the cake and gave it to Seun. The baby devoured the cream in in seconds.

She smiled at Kyuhyun.

“Mom-my!”

Kyuhyun smiled back. Of course the baby wanted more.

Kyuhyun gave her a bit more and Seun did the most incredible thing ever. She circled Kyuhyun´s neck with her little arms in a tender way and then she kissed him on the cheek!

Kyuhyun felt his heart melt with the baby´s gesture and returned her affection giving her a kiss on her cheek too.

Siwon was breathless.

He didn´t know what to say or feel. Can I be jealous now?

No doubt his daughter was into Kyuhyun.

For a moment. Siwon thought the two looked so good together…his daughter and this interesting and beautiful boy.

What happened next, made the boy run away in a matter of seconds.

The image of his daughter in Kyuhyun´s arms, both happy, looked like…a family, Siwon couldn´t help but touch one of Kyuhyun´s cheeks and rub his fingers on it in a gentle way. There was not an explanation for his act. He just felt like doing it without questioning himself why.

Kyuhyun startled with Siwon´s gentle touch once more. It was the second time the handsome man did the same. This time he met his eyes and stared at each other for a while. The boy struggled with the idea of closing his eyes and moan, melting to his touch.

The time seemed to stop…literally.

But it didn´t last too long. Kyuhyun came back to his senses. He was acting out of place here. Siwon was his boss. He was taking care of his daughter. He couldn´t think of him in the way he had started to do it since he met him. It can´t be.

He felt ashamed of himself and without hesitation he gave Seun back to him and stood.

“I´m sorry. I have to go. I need to study” – Kyuhyun said and left the kitchen quickly, leaving Siwon confused.

The minute Seun didn´t see Kyuhyun, she started to cry.

“Mom-my!”  - she called Kyuhyun crying louder.

Siwon did his best to comfort his daughter.

“Kyuhyun has gone, Seun-ah...”

And then he remembered.

“Oh…I didn´t pay him!”

Siwon sighed in frustration. But he will search a way to give Kyuhyun his money.

“What happens Kyuhyun?” – Changmin, Kyuhyun´s roommate asked when he met him sighing in their small kitchen with a lost look.

“Nothing”
