Chapter 16: Meet the Parents

Third Person's P.O.V.

Jung Residence

Jessica entered the room with a wide smile on her face. She felt light and contented from her interaction with Yul earlier even if it's just a light and meaningless conversation. It was kind of a strange feeling but she likes the way it makes her feel.

She decided to just free Yul from her evilness. Because she too, couldn't handle him. She felt distracted by him. A quite ride is what she only wanted with him for today but the incident happened, which confused her if she still want to get a grasp of him or let him be. Punishment should be adhered earlier but Jessica evolved into a softie and she's oblivious of it.

Jessica lied down on her bed when a smooth and masculine scent is making its way into her nose. Taking a second breathe of the mesmerizing scent, she sat up. She picked her pillow and that's when she couldn't pull away anymore. The pillow wholeheartedly swallows her face that she buried in. "Infairness, he smells nice." She admitted in her thoughts while smiling.

And the moon continues to travel the night as the sleeping beauty hugged her pillow to sleep.

Morning has come and Yul's already half awake but he doesn't want to get up yet. It was cold. The cold breeze of the fresh air outside of the mansion adds to the cold temperature inside his room. A thick and fluffly comforter definitely saved him from the intense chills. He was hugging it so tight as if it was a person that could give him warmth. He's still feeling the comfy bed, it's like this was the most comfortable and peaceful sleep he ever had.

There was really no intention to wake up. In fact, he wanted to sleep more and if possible, he would love to sleep this day off and just skip school. This bed becomes magnetic and it's pulling him in, begging to sink deeper. But his eyes immediately shot up when he realized he's still in the Jung's.

He rose up and immediately searched for the clock. "6:17AM. Thank God, it's still early." He muttered, palms on his face. 

That sudden strike of realization made him fully awake. He stood up and went to the bathroom to clean himself and prepare what's ahead for him with the Jungs.

After doing his thing in the bathroom, he doesn't know what to do. He's feeling shy to leave the bed room and check if he could go. Those feet are disappointing him, he has been going back and forth since he woke up and still contemplating on what to do when he should be blaming his brains. "Aish!" He scratched his head in frustration.

"Better leave now before I become late for school." He convinced himself and took a deep breath before going to the door.

Yul turned the door knob and pushed the door open. He was taken aback when Jessica welcomed his sight.

"Oh.. Jessica. You're here." He told her as he stepped out of the room.

"I was about to wake you up. Breakfast is ready." She's in her pajamas but still looking chic.

He felt his insides twitched and was dumbfounded for a moment. "A-ahh. Yeah, let's go?"

It overwhelmed him when he heard her. Jessica has to go and wake him personally to invite him for breakfast? It must be nice to sleep on a very comfy bed and get waken up by a beautiful girl.

Too bad, he woke up way too early.

She nodded her head and made her way downstairs, expecting him to follow her.

"Finally! Good morning, Kwon Yul. I'm Albert." Mr. Jung greeted Yul with a handshake the moment he entered the kitchen.

Mr. Jung felt excited to meet him, the selfless and fearless guy who tried to save him and his daughter.

Yul reciprocated the handshake and bowed his head to him and his wife to give respect. "It's my pleasure, sir. Thank you for letting me stay." He beamed gratefully at them albeit clueless of how to act in front of these prestigious conglomerates.

"It's nothing. If you need any help, let us know. Have a seat!" Mr. Jung motioned his hand to the chairs at the table. The sound of sincerity from his voice was noticeably there and it helped Yul to not feel intimidated with their presence. That, he should take note.

Jessica sat down and Yul cautiously sat beside her. Mr. Jung is at the end of the table and Mrs. Jung is on the other side from Jessica and Yul.

Krystal entered the scene and greeted them lively, unaware of their guest for this morning.

"Good morning!!" She walked straight near them and noticed a male figure beside her sister.

Feet halted, face knotted out of curiosity. When slightly opens and about to say something, her mother cut her off.

"You're just in time. Have a seat, sweetie." Mrs. Jung told her.

The voice of her mom broke her away from her frozen stance. She cleared , eyes still at the unannounced guest. "Yes, mom." She  said as she strides to her seat and when she finally settled down, she takes a look at the man in front of her. 

"Omo!" They all turned their heads to her. "Oppa!" She has already seen his face the moment she looked at him earlier but it was as if she couldn't comprehend who was that person until she got a full view of him when she sat down. 

"Good morning!" Yul flashed a smile at her, not even bothered by her reaction.

"You're here?" She furrowed her eyebrows then she looked at her sister and back to Yul.

"Krystal, is there a problem?" Her dad questioned her.

"Uhm.." She paused. "..nothing, dad. I'm just surprised oppa is here."

She was shocked to see Yul in their own home at this early hour. Especially after what happened in the car with her sister.

"Yeah, he was with your sister yesterday and stayed the night here." Everyone is starting to eat.

"What?!" The juice almost bursts inside in when she heard what her father said. Her eyes took a sneak peek at her older sister but Jessica is just silent, she doesn't want to go back at what happened and cause an awkward moment.

"Why are you so shocked? He was sick when he drove your sister home that's why." Her mother added.

"Oh..." Krystal knowingly nodded her head. Again, she peeked at her sister and gave her a teasing smile.
