Description

Suho was born without being able to see colors. Lay was born legally blind.

When Suho was first shown the rainbow, she saw varying shades of gray. The sunsets weren't as beautiful like people said they were, and neither were the pictures that her mother took of the supposedly bright yellow flowers in their backyard. However, she managed to always find tranquility in art.

In her eyes, art never really needed that much color. Growing up without color was seen as a problem and instead of painting like the other kids, Suho drew stick figures. Now one of the many skills she possesses is the ability to draw realistic portraits. Although she never knew what true colors looked like, her soul was what made her shine brighter than any shade of color you could imagine.

Lay was not much different than Suho, his eyesight being tremendous. At the age of one, he was forced to wear obnoxiously large glasses at all times in order to function. Even with the glasses he had trouble seeing. He could see the colors, but everything else was blurred which left him in the shadows.

He found his passion in dancing, using his poor eyesight to his advantage. His charisma and openness often lead him to become good friends with almost all the people in the school, meaning almost everyone supported him. His social anxiety went down every time he took off his glasses. Instead of thinking about the people watching, he focused on the swift moveshe created as he performed in front of huge crowds.

So when a magnet school of arts opened downtown, both of them signed up as quickly as they could. The raffle had selected them as the incoming freshmen for the year; their paths were finally crossing.
