Summary: They meet in the arena ready to rip each other's throats out, not to fall in love with one another.

            The dank circular arena smells of a putrid mix of sweat, mold, vomit, and a hint of blood. Anyone in their right minds would try to escape the arena as soon as they even got a whiff of it from afar but none of these people are in their right minds.

            People in their right minds would definitely not be here, in the outskirts of town in an old abandoned warehouse that's been transformed into a fighting ring to watch and bet on which strangers can beat the out of each other for a couple of bucks.

            Minhyuk stands in the center of it all. His back is leaning against the wall of the arena while his face remains stoic. He's waiting for his next opponent. The crowd above the arena cheers obnoxiously loud when the door on the other end of the arena gets thrown open and another guy is being shoved through it.

            For just a split second, Minhyuk thinks the one running this underground ring was playing some sort of joke on him. As Minhyuk scrutinizes his opponent with a sharp gaze, the only thing that stands out most is the other guy is ridiculously skinny for a fighter. Not that Minhyuk has any right to judge considering his own thin stature but still. Not to mention the fact that the guy was good looking. Now that's definitely something you don't see down here in this hole.

            It'd be a shame to ruin such a pretty face.

            But Minhyuk likes his own pretty face kept intact more.

            The other guy stares at him blankly, there's no indication of emotion. It's like the light brunette is just waiting to get this over with. Minhyuk will happily oblige to that.

            Minhyuk cracks his knuckles menacingly and smirks as he flicks his dark bangs out of his eyes. 'This should be easy.' He doesn't care for the reasons that people end up here, he just assumes they're here for a fight and that's what he'll give them. After all that's what he's paid for when he wins, that's why he's the best fighter this hole has.

            The referee of sorts (more like the guy that keeps the rounds constantly going) from the side of the arena announces into an old microphone, "Hyungwon versus Minhyuk! Round start!"

            And Minhyuk races forward, each step calculative, and launches a right hook for the Hyungwon guy's cheek. Hyungwon is just as fast as Minhyuk though and dodges just barely before bringing his knee up to jab straight into Minhyuk's abdomen.

            Minhyuk shifts his body weight back so Hyungwon only grazes him with a light scrape and immediately puts some distance between them. They begin circling each other as the crowd around them starts screeching louder in hopes for blood to be spilt. Hyungwon is grinning now, excited to see the look of irritation on Minhyuk's face. It's obvious Hyungwon expected to be underestimated and proving Minhyuk's appearance based assumptions about him were all wrong will be all the more entertaining.

            Minhyuk grimaces at the look on Hyungwon's face. Pretty boy really asking to get punched. "Let me guess, not a run of the mill weakling with only looks to back them up?"

            Hyungwon's grin widens a little more, "Doesn't look like it to you does it?"

            "You could do better than this with a face like that," sneers Minhyuk haughtily, "Unless you came here to purposefully get it rearranged?"

            "Try it," goads Hyungwon confidently.

            The crowd around them become even rowdier.
