Pairing: Kevin/Hyungshik, Heechul/Minwoo, Kwanghee/Siwan, Junyoung/Dongjun Rating: G-PG-13 Comments/Author's Notes: this is the chapter that some of you predicted last chapter so here it is chapter 8 the leader/maknae chapter ^^ sorry if the beginning of this chapter is bad i had writers block about it Summary: ZE:A goes on vacation. Friday 12/24/20XX The next day the ZE:A members weren't sure what to do so they just walked around Waikiki. After wandering around for a while they found a hotel that had laser tag. They entered the building and thanks to Kevin's english successfully registered to play laser tag. They randomly split up into teams of three. "Oh hyung we're on the same team," Dongjun said to Junyoung smiling. "Yeah we are," Junyoung replied cheeks feeling a little warm from the maknae's cute smile. 'Pull yourself together Junyoung you can't feel like this towards the maknae! He's the maknae!" he thought to himself. Since the laser tag place was pretty empty, because it's christmas eve, they had the place to themselves. When it was time they went in to the briefing room and put on their lasertag vests on. After briefing they went into their separate team entrances and entered the laser tag field. "Hyung maybe it would be best if we stay together then we could watch each other's back," Dongjun suggested. "Good idea," Junyoung said. "Now come on let's go find the other members." They went through the course looking and suddenly they heard a loud noise. Suddenly Heechul and Minwoo came running being chased by Kevin and Hyungshik. "Watch out hyung hide!" Dongjun exclaimed pulling Junyoung behind a wall. Their close proximity made Junyoung's mind go crazy and he mentally scolded himself again. By the time the game ended Junyoung felt stressed and the Kevin, Hyungshik, and Taehun team won. That night the ZE:A members decided to go to the christmas light display they had passed by in their car earlier in their trip. Since it was christmas eve it seemed like the perfect time to go. Kevin drove around to find parking and Junyoung sat next to the window trying to talk some sense into himself. He felt himself slowly slipping into insanity thinking of all the things he thought of today. He took a deep breath as Kevin parked the car and everyone got out. When they had walked to the exhibit area Kevin and Hyungshik went off together holding hands, Heechul and Minwoo went off together, and Siwan walked off with Kwanghee trailing behind him. "Junyoung-hyung," Junyoung turned to see Dongjun talking to him. "Why don't we go see the lights together then?" "Okay that sounds good," Junyoung replied and the maknae smiled brightly at him making his heart beat a little faster. Junyoung mentally slapped himself and they set off to go see the lights together. "Look hyung it's so pretty," Dongjun said pointing to one of the light displays they were passing excitedly. "Yeah it is very pretty," Junyoung grinning at how cute it was that the maknae was getting so happy because of the lights. "Let's take a selca hyung," Dongjun suggested taking out his phone. Junyoung nodded and stood next to Dongjun in front of the lights display. He blushed a little at their close proximity and Dongjun snapped the picture. "I think it came out good hyung what do you think?" Dongjun showed the Junyoung the picture of the two of them together in front of the lights. "It's a good picture," Junyoung said smiling. Afterwards they went in the building to see the trees from the christmas tree decorating contest. They spent a good amount of time in there looking at the trees, discussing which ones were their favorites, and laughing at some. When they were exiting they stopped when Dongjun's phone went off. Dongjun looked at his phone and saw that Hyungshik had sent him a selca that they took together. In the picture Kevin was kissing Hyungshik on the cheek and above their heads in the picture there was a mistletoe. There was a caption below that said, "took a picture like this since it was impossible to take a picture during the REAL kiss hehehehe :P ." Dongjun's eyes widened upon reading the caption and he looked at the picture again. Suddenly he realized that the background of the picture looked really familiar. He looked around at where he was and realized that it looked just like where the picture was taken. He gulped there was only one way to know for sure though. Putting his phone back in his pocket he slowly and cautiously looked up. There it was the mistletoe just like in the picture only this time it was hanging over him and Junyoung. Junyoung, noticing that he was looking up, looked up also to see what he was looking at. His eyes widened in shock and slowly they both looked back down and their eyes met. Since Junyoung was frozen in shock Dongjun decided to make the first move by taking a step closer to him. Junyoung on the other hand panicked and ran out of the building leaving Dongjun standing there alone. "Hyung pabo," Dongjun said softly sighing in dismay. 'Maybe I've just been making a fool of my self this whole time,' he thought to himself. 'Maybe I never did have a chance with Junyoung-hyung.' Junyoung's POV Once Junyoung was sure that he had gotten a good distance from the building hr stopped running. He was breathing heavily and his heart was racing. 'Oh my gosh did the maknae just try to kiss me!' Junyoung screamed in his head. 'Then that means I must not have just been imagining things all day...but I panicked and ran away...he probably thinks I don't like him...I have to find him!' With that Junyoung started running back to where he had left Dongjun. - Just as he suspected though Dongjun wasn't there anymore so he walked around the area looking for him. After searching unsuccessfully for 15 minutes Junyoung decided to call Kevin and ask if he had seen the maknae. "Dongjun? Oh I just saw him about ten minutes ago," Kevin said through the phone. "He said he wasn't feeling well and asked if he could have the key to the van so he could wait there for us. Me and Hyungshik offered to go with him but he insisted that he would be fine." "Okay I'll go check up on him," Junyoung said trying to cover up the fact that he knew the real reason why Dongjun wanted to go wait in the van. He thanked Kevin, hung up the phone, and started walking to the van. When he got to the van he looking in and saw Dongjun in the very back sitting with his knees to his chest. Junyoung softly knocked on the window and Dongjun looked up. Seeing it was Junyoung he pressed the unlock button on the car remote and Junyoung opened the backseat door. "Are you okay? Kevin said you called him and said you weren't feeling well," Junyoung said climbing into the back seat. Dongjun didn't answer so he went further back and sat right next to him. "Dongjun I'm sorry I ran away earlier...it's just it was so sudden and I panicked and...I'm sorry. I was nervous because...I really like you Dongjun...in fact I love you." While speaking those words Junyoung felt his face heat up and after he was done he looked down to hide his embarrassment. "Hyung," Dongjun called out and Junyoung looked up and saw the maknae smiling at him. "I love you too." Junyoung smiled back and pulled the maknae into a hug. "Now where were we before I rudely ran away," Junyoung said a playful smile on his lips. He leaned closer to Dongjun and when their lips met gave him a soft kiss. - Somewhere else Kwanghee was wandering around by himself when he spotted Minwoo standing by himself. "Hey Minwoo where's Heechul?" Kwanghee asked when he had reached Minwoo. "He went to the bathroom. Where's Siwan-hyung?" Minwoo asked surprised that Kwanghee wasn't still attached to him. "We got separated in the crowd," Kwanghee said nonchalantly. "Say Minwoo can I tell you something? I have something that I feel like I have something I have to get off my chest." "Sure hyung what is it?" Minwoo asked curiously. At this time Siwan spotted them and was going to approach them but stopped and stayed out of sight when he saw that it looked like they were having a serious conversation. "I heard from Kevin that Siwan's been looking for my christmas present," Kwanghee began. 'Kevin that dirty traitor,' Siwan thought to himself scowling. Kwanghee took a deep breath then continued. "But the thing is I wish I could just go up to Siwan and tell him what I really want. It's something simple that doesn't cost any money." "What is it?" Minwoo asked and Siwan from his hiding place from one of the displays leaned in closer trying to hear. "The perfect present he could get me is simply just a day where he at least acts like he loves me just as much as I love him," Kwanghee explained feeling a little embarrassed after he finished realizing he had just poured out so much of his emotions. Minwoo was shocked at first he wasn't sure if he'd ever seen Kwanghee act so emotional about Siwan before. "Don't worry hyung even though Siwan-hyung doesn't show it a lot I'm sure he cares about you a lot," Minwoo assured him. "Thanks Minwoo I feel a little better now," Kwanghee said giving him a smile. It was then that Heechul came out of the bathroom and left with a defensive arm around Minwoo. Kwanghee sighed and walked off again to search for Siwan, who had made a run for it when Heechul appeared. Taehun's POV After Junyoung and Dongjun had left a realization hit Taehun. He was alone. He was happy to let the couples go off and have their time together but sometimes he wished he had someone too. Taehun walked through the light exhibit when suddenly he heard someone call his name. He jumped surprised and turned around and saw a girl looking at him. "Kim Taehun?" the girl asked again. Taehun nodded and looked at the girl nervously he assumed that she must speak english. He guessed that she must be a ZE:A fan since she knew who he was. The girl noticed his nervousness. "Don't worry I can speak Korean," she said with perfect pronounciation. Taehun let out a sigh of relief. "Are you here alone?" "I'm here with the other ZE:A members but we got seperated," Taehun explained. "Would you like to go look at the lights with me then?" the girl asked hopefully. "By the way my name's Melanie." "Sure that sounds fun," Taehun agreed and he thought it was cute how she blushed a little when he agreed to go with her. They started to walk around a little and after a little while they were talking and laughing as if they'd known each other for months. A while later Taehun got a call saying they were going to go back to the hotel and he said goodbye to Melanie. Before they parted though they exchanged numbers and agreed to try and meet again. - When the ZE:A members got back to their hotel they were all tired and went straight to their rooms. After showering Junyoung and Dongjun lay in their beds. "Hyuuuung," Dongjun whined cutely. "Yes Dongjunnie?" Junyoung replied. "I'm lonely can I go sleep in your bed?" Dongjun asked hopefully giving Junyoung his puppy dog face. "Fine come here," Junyoung said patting the bed next to him. Dojgjun smiled and climbed into Junyoung's bed and cuddled up to him. "Good night hyung I love you," Dongjun said softly. "Good night I love you too Dongjunnie," Junyoung said cuddling the maknae. a/n2: surprise for all the people who were worried about Taehun don't worry he's finding love too
