Synopsis: Lee Hayi is an upcoming fashion stylist and has recently decided to take a break from her hectic life before starting up her newest project. With a week in France, she caught up on the latest fashion designs as well as getting greatly inspired by those around her. On her last day, she would have never expected a young gentleman to approach her and request that they spend the entire day together. With nothing else on her to-do list, she goes along with him and it was a day to remember.

Brown eyes scanned her surroundings as the music from the pianist playing inside faintly filled the air outside. The sun was slowly rising as life began to fill the cobble streets. Bakers were setting out fresh batches of bread for the locals to buy, mopeds were whizzing by as they made their deliveries, and the cafe she was sitting at was filled with the early risen people. A fresh cup of coffee was set down in front of the young woman watching it all as her hand played with the pencil in hand. Thanking the young waiter, she turned her attention to the sketch pad that sat next to her plate of a fresh baked baguette that had an orange marmalade spread on top. Her gaze moved to the Eiffel Tower that stood proudly in the distance. A small smile graced upon her lips as she adored the picturesque scenery before her.

Taking in a deep breath of the crisp morning air, the woman sighed to herself before starting her breakfast. With one of the bread in her left hand and a pencil on the right, she continued the sketch of a design she began the night before. Being a fashion designer and stylist was a dream come true for her. Never in her right mind would she have ever thought of finding herself traveling to Paris on her supposed vacation, trying to find inspiration for her upcoming project. That year, Paris was named the fashion capital of the world and she knew she had to get her eyes on the latest fashion designs.

The scraping of the empty chair beside her snapped the woman out of her sketching and looked up to find a man sheepishly smiling at her. Unconsciously, she began to analyze his outfit. He donned a white v-neck underneath the dark blue cardigan he wore with a pair of khaki joggers and casual slip-on Vans to finish off the look. She mentally gave him a nod of approval and looked up to find dark brown eyes looking back at her. It felt like he was analyzing her and she shifted uncomfortably before clearing .

“May I ask why you are sitting with me?” She asked in French.

The young man gestured to the rest of cafe and gave her the same smile she first saw him with. “There are no more seats and I told the waiter that if you’re okay with it, I would like to sit here with you.”

She raised an eyebrow and did a once over of the cafe. Compared to when she first came in, it was definitely more packed and no more empty tables could be seen. Staring back at the man in front of her, she tilted her head to the side and asked, “What is your name?”

“Hanbin. Kim Hanbin.”

Smiling widely, she leaned forward a little more. “So you’re Korean?”

He nodded and responded, “I’m assuming you are as well?”

The two laughed and she decided to switch to their mother tongue. “I’m Hayi. Lee Hayi. I wouldn’t have expected to run into someone who’s also Korean; let alone be sitting at the same table as me.”

Hanbin nodded as the waiter set down his breakfast. Getting himself settled, he tilted his head to the side and asked, “So what are you doing here?”

His eyes moved to where the sketch pad sat and Hayi chuckled. She motioned to the dress she was in the midst of drawing and said, “As you can see Hanbin-ssi, I’m a fashion designer, at the fashion capital of the world, trying to find inspiration.”

He laughed at her sarcastic remark and held his hands up in defense. “I didn’t notice the sketch pad earlier. It wasn’t until I looked at my food that I had seen it out of the corner of my eye.”

Hayi rolled her eyes playfully and nodded towards him. “What about you? What are you here for?”

Hanbin patted the backpack that was nestled next to his seat and replied with a twinkle in his eyes, “I’m a photographer, but before I get started on my next major project, I wanted to take a small break and Paris has always been on my checklist. “

She smiled to herself as she watched him take out his beloved camera and wriggled his eyebrows playfully. Returning her attention to the scenery around her, Hayi sighed to herself and shook her head in amusement. Who would have thought that I would be in this kind of situation? She leaned her elbow onto the table and set her chin on the palm of her hand, admiring sun that had finally finished rising.

Click!

Whipping her head towards Hanbin’s direction, her eyes widened as she watched him lower down the camera and observe the picture he took. “Yah!”

He looked up at her and shrugged. “I couldn’t help it. Think of it was a photographer’s instinct. If I see something worth capturing, my body just automatically moves on its own.”

She rolled her eyes while smiling to herself and leaned against her chair. “Did I at least look good in it?”

“I wouldn’t have taken it if you didn't."

The two chuckled before finishing up their meals. A comfortable silence fell upon the two and Hayi bit her lip as she peeped up from her mug. Hanbin was concentrated on his camera that was in one hand while the other held his coffee. One leg was crossed over his knee and she couldn’t help but admire his handsome features. Setting down her mug, she closed up her sketchpad and leaned against the back of her chair.

“Hanbin-ssi…?”

He looked up from his camera and noticed that she had finished her meal. Giving her a small smile he carefully put back his prized possession and turned his attention back to her.

“I hope this doesn’t come out too straightforward, but do you have any plans today Hayi-ssi?”

She shook her head as she began to pack her things and said, “I don’t really have anything planned because it’s my last day here. I was just planning on roaming around and see where my feet take me.”

“Then...would you like to spend the day with me?”

Hayi’s eyes widened at his request and could feel her cheeks slightly warm. She mentally cursed herself for being so easily flustered as she watched the corners of his lips tilt upwards with her reaction. He gave her an eyesmile, leaning onto the table with his elbows and showed his palms to show that he wasn’t threatening.

“You have the choice to reject me, but since it is also my last day here in Paris, I was wondering if you would like to accompany me around the city. I promise you though, I am in no way a creeper or anything like that.”

“If you were to do anything to me, I could easily beat you to a pulp anyways.” Hayi retorted as she gave him an amused smile.

He quirked an eyebrow and playfully smiled back. “So...is that a yes?”

Smirking slightly, she got up and grabbed her leather backpack that was hanging at the back of her chair. She shrugged slightly before pointing towards the exit. “You tell me, Hanbin-ssi.”

Letting out a laugh, she slung the straps of her backpack onto her shoulders and made her way towards the front of the cafe. She touched her forehead and could only smile in disbelief at the spontaneous decision that she made. Was she crazy for implying that she was okay with spending an entire day with a stranger that she just met? Maybe. Did she just try to flirt with him? Possibly.

“You’re going crazy, Hayi-ah. You literally just lost your mind.” she murmured to herself as she leaned against the wall by the entrance.

Just as she had hoped, Hanbin came out a couple seconds later, slightly out of breath. His head whipped back and forth before finally spotting her and he smiled widely.

“I thought you were just kidding.”

Hayi shrugged and said, “I guess it was a spur of the moment kind of thing.”

He playfully wiped the sweat off of his forehead and said, “Well that’s a good thing I suppose, I thought I had scared you off for a moment.”

They chuckled and Hayi looked up at him in curiosity. “Before we do get our day started, how old are you by the way?”

“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?”

“Don’t you know that it’s rude to ask a lady for what her age is?”

Hanbin chuckled and said, “Touche, Hayi-ssi. I’m a 96-liner.”

She looked at him in surprise and smiled widely. “Well would you look at that, we’re the same age. I was born in ‘96 as well.”

“Really? Let’s speak comfortably with each other then, Hayi-ah.”

Before she could catch herself, Hayi was already smiling as wide as she could once she heard her name escape his lips. Shyly tucking her hair behind her ear, she nodded and gave him a warm smile.

“Sounds good...Hanbin-ah.”

He smiled back and gave her a look. She tilted her head to the side before looking around her, making sure that he was giving that pointed look to her.

“...what?”

“Are you sure you’ll be fine walking around the city in those shoes?”

Looking down at the beige booties she wore to accompany the burgundy t-shirt dress and black thigh high socks, she nodded. He still gave her the same look and Hayi laughed.

“Don’t underestimate women when it comes to heels, Hanbin-ah. Plus they’re not even that tall. If these babies were a couple inches higher then I would definitely need a change of shoes.”

“...Right… I don’t know, I guess I don’t understand the way women think sometimes.”

She patted his arm and said, “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. If anything, I have a pair of slip-ons that I packed in my backpack, just in case my feet get tired.”

“You came prepared, didn’t you?”

Hayi laughed and nodded, “So shall we get going?”

Hanbin nodded and the two began to make their way through the cobble streets of Paris. The first stop that Hanbin suggested was to stop by the local farmer’s market. He wanted to get some shots of the locals and possibly find some small trinkets he could buy for his friends back home. As they walked through the crowded walkways, Hayi would point towards anything that had caught her eye. Since most of her trip compromised of attending fashion shows, observing the locals, and visiting all the name-brands Hayi never got the chance to really explore the city. Now that she found herself going through the market with so many different booths, she couldn’t help but let her inner child come out.

“Hanbin-ah, Hanbin-ah! Look how fresh these strawberries are!” she exclaimed as she jogged ahead of him and stood in front of a fruit stall.

Greeting the owner, her eyes hungrily roamed through the different types of fruits. She leaned down slightly and closed her eyes as she breathed in the fresh scents that filled her senses.

“Auntie, how much for these strawberries?”

“Roughly about two dollars a pound miss.”

“Really?! I’ll take one then!”

She gave the store owner an eyesmile before clapping her hands excitedly. Remembering that Hanbin should’ve been by her side by then, she looked around to find him taking pictures of bouquets that were put out by a local florist. He looked up for a moment and caught her gaze. Winking at her, Hanbin stuck out his tongue playfully and she rolled her eyes in response.

“Here you go, miss.”

Turning her attention back to the older lady, she thanked her before taking one out of the plastic bag and popped one into . She groaned as the sweetness took over and sighed in happiness. Truly...everything is better when it’s fresh and abroad. Hayi chuckled to herself and made her way towards Hanbin. She peeped over his shoulder to find that he was taking a picture of a bouquet filled with chrysanthemums, daffodils, and orchids. The pictures that he takes are really beautiful.

Hayi stepped slightly to the side and leaned over to match Hanbin’s position. He looked over to find her softly looking at the many flowers. Smiling to himself as she picked up the bouquet of white roses that were next to the one he just took a picture of, he couldn’t hel

Chapter 21: True!! My BiHi feel is being resurrected and I'm so happy!! I wanna request about their moment during promotion of course! Like I feel like they're still awkward and this promotion is what makes them closer and they're in 'some' relationship. And then Hayi left YG and that's when they start to date because they feel more free. And I think it would be great to highlight how Hayi is friendly and comfortable with other male artists like Mino, Chanhyuk, Bobby, Code Kunst, Dok2 but with BI she's kinda cold which makes BI sad and jealous but actually it's because Lee Hi kinda has feelings for him too but yeah our cold Princess would never show it hahah
