A soft piano tune flows out from her phone, Soojung doesn't stir for a little while until it proceeds into a moderato, forcing herself to move her hand, slipping it out off the warm blanket unwillingly.

Propping her back with the back of her bed, she yawns loudly as she finds her phone in her palm, sliding the green sign to answer as her eyes are still adjusting to her surroundings.

"Who's this?" her raspy and scratchy voice flows out, her body already sliding to the right side of her queen sized bed, plopping to a pillow beside her again.

"Hi baby girl," a swaying playful voice smooths out and she feels like closing her eyes, letting a loud grumble grunting out of her voice.

"Jeez Mingyu, what is it?" Soojung doesn't even lift her eyes after knowing the caller. As always, the background is the pumping loud music and boisterous guffaws of boys cackling into something humiliating. "I'm very tired, I need sleep-"

"I'm not sure, I just want to talk to you-" he hiccups with a smile, his hand playing with a glass of alcohol in his hand, empty and he is sober but the state of his mind asks for him to do wild things.

"We can talk tomorrow," she insists, squeezing herself closer to the blanket, wanting to drop herself to unconsciousness.

"I want you to be awake enough to hear what I am gonna say. Forget tomorrow," he pushes through, not feeling any fear inside of him as he let the meaningless beats outside of his system drown everything out.
