It was a Sunday afternoon when Jinyoung and Gongchan decided to go to the cafe downtown, since someone—Jinyoung, ahem—had forgotten to re-stock on their coffee supplies.

Gongchan didn't used to be a coffee drinker, but since he's been drinking quite a lot lately in order to get through the painful all-nighters he somehow grew a bit addicted, maybe. As for Jinyoung, well he honestly wasn't much of a coffee drinker since he worked at a coffee shop, but if it meant having an unofficial date with his roomate he really doesn't mind.

So they walk quietly down the street, side by side, Jinyoung trying his best not to accidentally invade Gongchan's personal space for his own sake, since he knew that everything would probably go downhill from there.

It really is no secret, how much he likes his roommate that is. Ever since they met, Jinyoung has always felt attracted to the younger one way or another, and he somehow finds himself liking him even more each day. Luckily he's managed to keep everything hidden and under control, for now.

When they enter the shop, they're both immediately greeted with a line of at least four people. Gongchan just sighs and turns to pout at Jinyoung, who by the way is trying his best not to squeeze the living daylights out of him.

"I don't like waiting in line," the younger whispers, as if Jinyoung could change anything, which he actually would do if he could, but that's not the point.

"I know, I know," Jinyoung says, softly patting the other's head. "I hate them too."
