“would you mind if i kissed you?”

"Hey, you almost done in there?" Jinyoung asks, knocking softly on Gongchan's door.

They should've been on their way to the cafe already, actually they should be there already, but the younger's taking way too long to get ready. Jinyoung of course didn't need more than 20 minutes to be dressed and ready to go, but Gongchan on the other hand... well that's another story.

"Just a sec," the younger says between huffed breaths, earning a sigh from Jinyoung. A second means at least five more minutes.

At last the door opens, revealing a slightly blushing Gongchan, dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, a navy blue sweater and slightly ruffled hair. He smells like vanilla and strawberries too.

Jinyoung tugs at his shirt's collar. Gosh, is it just him, or is it getting kind of stuffy in here?

"Sorry for taking so long..." Gongchan says, looking at the floor while playing with his fingers. After a few seconds he looks up, cheeks still slightly red. "Let's go?"

Jinyoung just nods dumbly, and awkwardly makes his way to the door.

They both make their way outside, Jinyoung trying his best not to brush shoulders with the other. It's been like this for quite a while actually, just a bunch of blushing and dreamy glances every now and then. Today is one of those days.

It's cold outside, and dark. Gongchan's nose gets red within the first five minutes.

As they make their way towards the so-called meet-up with his friends, Jinyoung finds his eyes wandering towards the shorty on his right. He's always thought Gongchan is beautiful, so so beautiful.

Ever since the day they've met, he hasn't been able to take his eyes off of him. It doesn't help that Gongchan has been quite flustered lately, with all his stuttering and blushing. Any form of compliment always makes the younger turn bright red and mutter a short 'thanks.'

Jinyoung isn't stupid, he knows Gongchan must like him too, in some sort of way. After all, he didn't used to get so flustered over nothing, so something must be up.

But, oh dear, Jinyoung doesn't have the guts to confess, because, what if something goes wrong?

"Jinyoung?" Gongchan's voice startles him.

"Uh, y-yeah?"

"We're here," the younger says.

Jinyoung looks around, then spots the cafe they were supposed to meet at.

He sighs before nodding his head.
