The next week was a lot busier than before, keeping Jungkook on his toes and his story at bay.  He loved helping out, but he couldn’t help but hear his writing call to him.  He pouted as he got more supplies out from the back.  He was just getting to the good part when Seokjin had called him up to help.

It was a normal story, more normal than what he usually wrote.  He liked to write angsty drama and hopeless situations, but in the end, he felt like his characters suffered a lot more than they should.

They were a good couple in his opinion, very compatible with each other.  The girl was a rather rich individual while the boy was more of a normal guy.  She was kicked out of her own home once she brought it to her parents’ attention that she didn’t want to live like a spoiled princess.  She wanted to be a writer, a journalist in fact.

Meanwhile, the boy was a normal boy with his own problems.  He was friendly to other people, but he was also weird in a way.

Jungkook sighed happily as he handed another customer their drink.  It didn’t matter.  After the girl found a job at a coffee shop, they soon met, as though it were --

“Hey, Jungkookie!” Taehyung cheered as he walked in.  

Jungkook stared at the boy.  Fate…?

The other boy walked up to the counter.  “Long time no see.”

Jungkook sweatdropped, but still kept a smile on his face.  “We only saw each other last week, Taehyung.”

Taehyung didn’t seem fazed at all.  He only smiled before gazing at the menu.  “How often do you work here?” he asked suddenly.

“Um, every afternoon,” Jungkook replied, a bit shocked the other would ask such a bold question.

“Oh,” the other breathed.  He tilted his head to the side, confused.  “Then what about school?  You look like a high school student!” he exclaimed.

Jungkook blushed.  “I’m in my first year of college actually.”

“I’m in my second year,” Taehyung said happily.  “What school do you go to?”

“Seoul University.  I study business in the night classes so I can work here.”

“Oh, I study art there!”

Jungkook’s heart couldn’t help but swell at that.  He was a bit shocked to know that they went to the same school, but they wouldn’t know each other anyways because of their polar-opposite majors.  On the other hand, he wasn’t surprised at all to see the happy-go-lucky boy study something outgoing like art.

Taehyung frowned a bit.  “You don’t seem like a business major, though.”

“See?  Even lover-boy knows!” Seokjin whispered in Jungkook’s ear as he walked over to wash syrup off his hands.  He laughed as he earned a playful swat from the younger.

Jungkook laughed.  “I want to be a writer.”

Taehyung snapped his fingers.  “Ah!  That suits you better!”

The other’s cheeks were flushed with color.  “Really?”

“Really!”

Jungkook looked down at his hands, which were folded on the counter.  “That’s nice,” he said softly.  “Well, can I get you something to drink?”

Taehyung thought for a moment.  “Can I try the white tea this time?  Iced?”  He made a face.  “It’s hot outside.”

The younger laughed as he took the order.  As soon as he paid, he set right to work.  Taehyung couldn’t help but talk his ear off the entire time, but he didn’t mind.  He was nice company to have besides Seokjin.  He smiled as he capped the plastic cup and handed it to Taehyung, who took a sip.
