You're Finally Mine

What to Do?

Four days had passed since Hyeri and Minah agreed to help Yura get back Sojin. Yura had the most difficult time figuring out what to do for Sojin. She knew that this plan had to be absolutely perfect for Sojin to make up for all the crap she did. After a day and a half, she finally had an ideal plan and asked Hyeri and Minah for help.

Today was the day Yura was going to find out if Sojin will completely come back and trust her again. She walked out of her room and checked if Sojin was still in the dorm. When she saw that Sojin wasn’t home, she knew that Minah had done her part. Now, she had about 3-4 hours to complete her part with a little help with Hyeri. She went to Hyeri’s door, knocked loudly, and heard a groan from the other side of the door.

“Hyeri…if you don’t get out of bed now, I am going to come in and drag you out!” Yura shouted.

Yura listened closely to hear shuffling and more groaning from Hyeri. Suddenly, the door opened and stood a very messy Hyeri with half-opened eyes. Yura couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of Hyeri.

“Unnie...I don’t even know why~” Hyeri yawned while trying finish her sentence. “I even agree to help you. Maybe I should let you suffer and abandon you.”

“You wouldn’t dare,” Yura responded as she gave Hyeri her death stare. “I already promised that I will be nice to you and treat Minah and you to a month of food. By the end of this month, I am going to be broke.”

“Oh yeah…I almost forgot about that,” Hyeri finally snapped out of her sleepy state when she heard food. “Okay, I will help you!”

Hyeri quickly shuffled to the bathroom with clothes in hand and washed up. Yura was sitting in the living room and mentally checking off the list of things she needed to do. Hyeri and she were going to the supermarket to buy ingredients for tonight’s dinner. Yura was going to cook and treat Sojin to a wonderful dinner. She was planning to make a sirloin steak with garlic butter and pasta with mussels in tomato sauce. Yura started to daydream about Sojin’s reactions that she didn’t notice that Hyeri was standing in front of her.

“Yah…snap out of it. Let’s go because time is wasting,” Hyeri said as she nudged Yura out of her dream.

“Hyeri...urgh,” Yura grunted since she had to be nice to Hyeri starting now.

Hyeri saw how frustrated Yura was getting so she loudly laughed. Hyeri turned around and stuck out her tongue to playful tease Yura. She was going to be enjoying bugging Yura for the whole month. Yura stomped out of the dorm and towards the elevator while a laughing Hyeri followed. As they rode the elevator to the lobby and left the building, they quickly put their disguises. They needed to make sure that they didn’t attract a huge crowd during this trip.

After a few minutes of walking, Yura and Hyeri finally arrived to supermarket. As they step through the automatic doors, Yura took out her list of ingredients while Hyeri took a cart. Going down her list, they got all the ingredients in a flash. There were a few time when people stop them for pictures but it wasn’t bad. When Yura checked out and paid for her stuff, they carried the bags back to the dorm.

It was a good idea to recruit Hyeri because these bags are heavy. Yura thought as she walked besides Hyeri. Even though she is annoying, I am grateful.

Once they arrived home, they dropped the grocery bags on the counter and shook their arms. They were sweating and tired but there were still more to be done. Yura kindly asked Hyeri to clean the apartment while she prepared for dinner.

Two and a half hour had passed and Yura and Hyeri had finished preparing and cleaning the apartment for tonight. Yura checked the time on her phone and realized that they were actually on time. She double checked the kitchen and made sure that everything was set for her to cook tonight. As time passed, she couldn’t help but feel excited and nervous. Yura decided that it was time for her to take a quick shower and change into her outfit for tonight.

Once Yura finished applying her light makeup, she sent a quick text to Minah to see where Sojin and she were heading.

Hey Minah! How is it going? Where are you guys heading off to now? – Yura

Hey…um…we are about done with our spa day. We are about to head to the target location at the Hangang River. You will be meeting us there right? – Minah

Yup, I will be meeting you guys there. If anything, I will text you when I am ready. – Yura

“Hey Hyeri!” Yura shouted as she walked towards her door. “You ready?”

“Give me a second unnie,” Hyeri responded back. “I…I am about done.”

Once Yura heard that Hyeri was almost ready, she headed towards the front door to put on her shoes. As she finished tying up her shoes, she saw Hyeri walking towards her. She looked up to see a very happy Hyeri.

“Are you really happy because you are getting to eat BBQ tonight?” Yura asked even though she knew the answer already.

“Psh…you know the answer to that question,” Hyeri replied as she quickly slipped on her shoes. “But if you don’t, yes I am VERY happy for BBQ.”

Yura shook her head and realizing that this girl was going to make her broke within a week. Suddenly, her wallet felt so light in her hands. She released a sad sigh for Hyeri to hear but there was no effect. They left the apartment and Yura had one more stop to pick up some flowers she ordered two days ago. For Sojin, Yura was willing to go all out for Sojin.

When Yura finally got the huge bouquet of flowers, Hyeri gasped loudly at the size of the bouquet. Although she had doubt about Yura’s plan, Hyeri saw how determine Yura was. She finally understood that Yura really wanted this plan to work and she was silently cheering for Yura. They silently walked to the meet up spot and saw that Minah and Sojin had not arrived yet.

“Hyeri, can you hold the bouquet? I am going to text Minah and see where they are,” Yura said as she handed over the bouquet.

Minah…Hyeri and I are at the meet up spot. How far away are you two? –Yura

Sorry, we are heading over now. Sojin wanted to go back to the dorms so it was kind of hard to persuade her to take a walk with me along the Hangang River. I would say give us another 10 minutes. – Minah

Oh…okay. Good job Minah. In return, as promised, I gave money to Hyeri so you guys can enjoy all the BBQ you want. – Yura

Yay! I can’t wait >.< - Minah

“Minah said that they will be here in 10 minutes. Do you think your big stomach can wait another 10 minutes?” Yura jokingly asked.

“Hmm…I guess it could,” Hyeri sadly replied. “But I am so hungry though.”

Yura shook her head and turned around. As she turned around, she could see Minah and Sojin heading towards them. Yura was starting to get nervous but she had to push it aside and get ready. She only focused on a happy and relaxed Sojin that was getting closer to her. She had the urge to run up and give her the tightest hug ever. Hyeri waved her hand in front of Yura’s face to get her attention.

“Unnie…I think you will need this back,” Hyeri said as she handed over the bouquet. “Good luck and don’t mess up.”

Yura didn’t responded because she was getting really nervous. She felt Hyeri was giving her a pat on her shoulder. Sojin was finally in front of her and she could tell that she was confused about the huge bouquet in her hand.

“Ah…this is for you,” Yura said as she snapped out of her daze.

“Oh, thank you Yura,” Sojin replied as her cheeks started to turn a hint of pink.

From the corner of Yura’s eyes, she saw that Minah and Hyeri were giggling like schoolgirls. They were ruining her plan and she needed to get rid of them quick.

“Hey…don’t you guys have plans to go have BBQ and stuff,” Yura said.

“Oh yeah, we do. We should go now,” Minah said as she grabbed Hyeri’s arm. “Bye-bye unnies, I will make sure I will safely bring back Hyeri.”

Yura looked over and saw that Sojin was slightly disappointed. She had to cheer up or distract Sojin quickly or else it is going to be awkward.

“Maybe we should head back to the apartment and put those flowers into a vase,” Yura said. “We don’t want them to die on us, do we?”

“Ah…yes yes…you are right,” Sojin responded as she started walking without Yura.

As a reflex, Yura quickly grabbed Sojin’s free hand and held onto it. Sojin stopped in her tracks and looked back at Yura. Sojin was surprised at Yura’s sudden action but she knew that she didn’t want to let go of Yura’s hand. So Sojin walked back to Yura and tightly squeezed her hand. Yura gained a little bit of confident from that squeeze and she wasn’t going to back down.

“Listen…,” Yura paused as she released a deep breath. “I know I have been saying sorry a lot but I am truly sorry for all the pain I have caused you. I wish I am able to take away those painful memories and thoughts but I can’t. The past month, I had a difficult time to restrain myself from hugging, holding and kissing you. It was difficult to be away from you even when you are so close to me. I know that nothing I say or do will change the fact that I messed up. But I do hope that after tonight, everything will change for the better.”

Sojin couldn’t help but tear up a bit. She knew that Yura was hurting on the days when she gave her the cold shoulder but she couldn’t help it. During those days, she couldn’t help but allow her pain control her emotions. Those memories and thoughts would force her to build walls around her heart. Because of that, she wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to allow Yura back into her life. But now she saw the desperation on Yura’s face.

“I…I’m sorry for putting you on a roller coaster ride. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I wanted you back into my life so I gave you the cold shoulder. The first heartbreak really hurt, so I knew that a second one would kill me. I didn’t want to go through that pain again so I pushed you away,” Sojin explained. “But I think I am ready to slowly let you back in into my life.”

When Yura heard Sojin’s response, her nerves completely vanished. She was feeling more excited now and she couldn’t wait to surprise Sojin to a wonderful dinner.

“T…that is great news,” Yura said. “How about we head back home?”

Sojin just nodded her head while Yura had a huge smile on her face. Sojin couldn’t help but to laugh at how goofy Yura was. Yura continued to hold Sojin’s soft hand and together they started to walk towards the apartment. They couldn’t help but to laugh and enjoy each other’s company.

After their walk along the Hangang River, they arrived home and placed the flowers into a vase. Sojin couldn’t believe at how clean the apartment was and she knew it was Yura’s doing. She was slowly falling back in love with Yura. Slowly, the walls around her heart were breaking apart and she wasn’t scared about it. When she headed to the kitchen to make dinner, Yura stopped her.

“I know I am not the best chef but I really want to cook for you tonight,” Yura said as she made Sojin sit down in the living room. “You can watch some television or something. I will get you when the food is done.”

Sojin was absolutely shock that Yura was going to attempt to cook dinner. At first, she was worried but she remembered that Yura was getting better at cooking. After an hour and a half, Yura stood next to Sojin and held out her hand.

“Dinner is ready,” Yura happily said. “I hope that you are hungry but I am.”

Sojin laughed but she nodded her head. Yura led her to the dining table where she saw the steak dish and spaghetti and mussels dish. She was blown away at what Yura made that she couldn’t believe that she made it herself.

“Hm…okay Yura…where is the chef you hired?” Sojin questioned as she inspected the area.

“There is no chef, babe. I took the time and cooked all this but I just hope it taste good,” Yura replied as she chuckled at how silly Sojin was.

When Sojin finally settled down in her seat, Yura popped open the wine and poured both their glasses. Yura finally sat down and stared into Sojin’s eyes. She couldn’t believe that Sojin was slowly coming back to her. She couldn’t believe that their relationship is back and better than ever. Suddenly, Yura had the urge to cry but she stopped herself. This was the ending she wanted and it was finally coming.

“Let’s start eating before the food gets cold,” Yura said as she cut the steak into thick slices.

Yura carefully placed a few slices on Sojin’s plate and then hers. She waited for Sojin to take the first bite and see if she messed up or succeed.

“Omo…Yura this is amazing. Are you sure you don’t have a chef hiding somewhere?” Sojin said as she reached for some spaghetti and mussel and took a bite. “This is good too.”

Yura laughed and was able to breathe normally. She was successful with her plan and she was not going to ruin her achievement with stupid mistakes. As she was getting lost in her thoughts, her stomach growled. She snapped out of her thoughts and started to eat. After her first bite of the steak, she was amazed at her cooking skills too.

I definitely improved in cooking. Yura thought. Two more dishes to go on my list of thing I can make.

After dinner and Yura washing everything, they settled on the couch. Yura had her arm around Sojin as they cuddle. Sojin was playing with Yura’s fingers until she held her hand. Everything was going perfect for Yura and she didn’t want the night to end. She hoped that this wasn’t a dream and that it would be over when she wakes up.

“Babe…please tell me this isn’t a dream,” Yura said as she pulled Sojin closer.

“Nope, it is not a dream,” Sojin replied.

It wasn’t a dream and Yura was happy that this was really happening. After a long painful journey, Sojin and she were able to get back together. Nothing could ruin this night because it was perfect.

Until Yura and Sojin heard the apartment door unlocked.

“Lovebirds, I’m home!” Hyeri shouted. “Did you guys miss me?”

Yura groaned in anger while Sojin laughed.
