"Excuse me, i'm done with my dinner can i leave the table?" Miyoung
asked. She needed to get away from Kikwang and Eunmin. Desperately
needed to. Kikwang stared at her with a shocked expression on his
face.Eunmin let out a gasp.
"Miss, no one leaves before the prince finishes with his meal,"
stammered Eunmin.
"I'm very sorry, but this is a common place and not a palace and so
now you are a commoner and not a prince,i'll leave now," said Miyoung
.
"Miyoung! how could you treat our guests like that!" Shouted her
mother , shaking her head disapprovingly. Kikwang smirked.
"Mom, i have homework to do?" said Miyoung before slamming the door of
her bedroom. Why should she care about that stupid Kwang?
"Umma, i have homework to do too!' said Yoseob smiling sweetly at his
mother. Her face softened and she smiled back.
"Woah this guy is way too cute," thought Kikwang to himself.
"Yoseob-ah, you don't do your homework remember?" his mother said
ruffling his hair.
"Pardon me for interrupting your uhm, affectionate commoner moments
but what is homework?"asked Kikwang.
"Homework, or homework assignment, refers to tasks assigned to
students by their teachers to be completed outside of class. Common
homework assignments may include a quantity or period of reading to be
performed, writing or typing to be completed, problems to be solved, a
school project to be built,or other skills to be practiced," recited
Yoseob. His mother raised an eyebrow at him and Kikwang and Eunmin
looked at him awestruck.
"Hehehe, i memorised it.It was my homework!" Yoseob said ,smiling
sheepishly before running into Miyoung's room.
"Ma'am, what is school like?" asked Kikwang.
"Well, i guess it's like lessons by private tutors but instead you go
into this building and have classes with other kids as well," said
Miyoung's mother smiling.
"Can i go?"
"Go where?" asked Miyoung who had come out of her room after hearing
about Yoseob's impressive speech from the speaker himself..
"Kikwang-shi wants to go to school," said her mother as she stood up
to clear the table.
"You cant be serious! Umma, he has no identity papers to register !"
Miyoung protested.
"You don't need papers, you just have to tell them a name and
whatnot," her mother said.
"Ma'am could you register me now?" asked Kikwang. He needed to do
something even if he'd rather not.
"Kikwang,are-re-re y-ou-u sure?" asked Eunmin worriedly.
"Yes yes," Kikwang said waving Eunmin away hastily.
"Well, okay then," Miyoung's mom said cheerfully as she dialled
Miyoung's and Yoseob's school information number on her mobile.
"Ma'am! I am as old as Miyoung and my name is Jokwon okay?" Kikwang
said turning to grin cheekily at Miyoung. Normal girls would have
fainted but Miyoung took of the slippers she was wearing and threw it
at Kikwang. Kikwang ducked just in time as the slipper smacked against
the wall behind him.
"ugh," grunted Miyoung as she retrieved her slipper and marched away angrily.
After a long while, Kikwang was a confirmed student and Eunmin and
Yoseob were sent to get him clothes,shoes and of course, new school
books.
"Let's see common schools," said Kikwang as he lay on the floor next
to Yoseob that night. Yoseob grunted and threw an arm across Kikwang.
"Yah!"
