EUNHYUK’s POV

“Morning Hyukie~” She hummed, looking sweetly at me. It was 7 in the morning and Gyuri’s awake. 7am, I repeat. Another date I presume. If not, then she’s supposed to still be in bed, hugging her huge monkey doll which, by the way, she specifically got to irritate me. It was her birthday present to me yet she insisted on letting the doll or stuff toy or whatever that thing is called, to be placed on her bedroom.

“What’s the favor now?” I glanced at her, eyes half opened, and she looked like someone who got found out.  Still, she pretended not to know.

Her endearing charisma, sweet voice, those sparkling eyes, her pleasant atti- nah, let’s just not talk about her attitude.  Majority of her features are thumbs up and the type you wouldn’t disagree on.  Apparently, I was one of those unfortunate people who do the biddings of this spoiled self-proclaimed goddess.   It’s not like I’m swoon over her beauty or some sort of, it’s just that under some circumstances, I can’t go against her. Unfair, yeah.

I stared at her.  She raised her hands in surrender. “You won.”

“I need a ride going to Kona Beans and a ride back home as well.”

“Wow, can’t you sound a little nicer?” I insisted, rubbing my eyes.

She looked at me with those puppy eyes…again. It doesn’t work on me Park Gyuri, and never will it. Nevertheless, she fixed her gaze on mine. Goodness, fine!

“Another date, eh? Why not just ask whoever your date is to you home?? Or better yet fetch you as well.”

“Don’t like.”  I waited for an explanation.  What the heck? Date tons of guys and then let me you home? I made a face.

She waited outside while I take a short bath and change my clothes, and guess what? Persistent and impatient Gyuri kept on calling for my name in a weird, sing-song, irritating way. I didn’t respond and continued fixing my hair when she came barging into my room.

Then, she dragged me outside. See? Nobody can disagree.

“No dragging lady.” I ridiculed as I search for my motor bike’s key in my jacket’s pocket.

We rode my motor bike and I kept on babbling things I knew she wouldn’t do. ‘Cause maybe, just maybe, for the nth time, she’d finally realize that what I’ve been sayin’ up until now, is pretty damn significant & necessary after all.

“Can’t you just stay at home; get yourself hooked on dramas or stuff or study perhaps?” I creased my forehead as I made an emphasis on the word ‘study’ as if she never tried doing so, which is true.

“Oh, stop talking nonsense Hyuk, I know you’re just being jealous. That’s alright, that’s just a part of puberty. Nothing to be worried about.” She said with a self-satisfied look on her face.

Part of what? You call a college student babbling practical stuff that he’s undergoing puberty? I snickered. She’s insane.

“Can’t you just have your daily dates during afternoon then? You’ve been disturbing my good sleep for weeks now.”

“I can’t Hyuk.”

“Why? For heaven’s sake, WHY?”
“I won’t get to disturb your sleep anymore.” She looked at me teasingly and let her tongue out while I gritted my teeth. Weren’t there any holes on the ground where I can just drop her off? Or better yet, can I just kill the hell outta her, now?

No you can’t hyuk, I told myself. Damn.

“Right. Let’s just get going.” I ignored her usual ‘piss-hyukjae-like-there’s-no-tomorrow scheme’. Okay, I’ll save the killing later. Wait till you get home lady, just wait.

a/n: So, how's the first chapter? Pretty dull? Sarreh. Hope it'll get better. :P
