Chapter Eight
Imperfect LoveJung Yong Hwa’s POV
The dream I had last night was too scary to be true. I don’t know why, but I feel bothered by the fact that I and Shin Hye noona had an argument yesterday. I can’t focus today.
“Hyung!” I heard Woo Bin calling out to me, “We’re gonna be late.”
I realized that I had been sitting in the chair without doing anything. Like being useless. I had lived like a zombie this morning. I kept recalling the nightmare I had.
Yong Hwa grabbed his bag and went into the car with Woo Bin. The driver, of course, immediately started the engine soon after they got on.
As they got off in the school lobby, their car vanished in no time. And Yong Hwa was still deep in his own thought. Woo Bin walked ahead of him as he knows Yong Hwa’s character too well. When Yong Hwa’s focused on something, nothing can divert his focus elsewhere, even if it’s Woo Bin, his beloved brother.
Yong Hwa stood there for a while before dashing, making his way out of the school running.
Writer’s POV
Shin Hye just came into her class when Soo Jung came as well, looking so panic.
“Yah! Do you know there’s someone strange?” Soo Jung said, “I think from his uniform, he’s a student from Running High. He came and dashing here and there around the campus. So weird.”
Before Shin Hye could react, that certain boy Soo Jung talked about came into their class room, exhausted, out of breath due to his running.
“Ah! It’s that boy!” Soo Jung said.
Writer’s POV
Yong Hwa was dressed in all white in his dream. He looked confused about how he was there and what he was doing there. There was a large door in front of him which made him stood still. Perhaps wondering if he should open that door.
And in the end he opened it. His eyes widened as he saw the scene. He turned pale and without him realizing, his tears already went down his cheeks. He saw a lifeless body of a familiar girl.
Park Shin Hye.
And the thought of losing her was too scary to imagine.
“Jung Yong Hwa…” Shin Hye muttered.
Yong Hwa’s POV
All I could see was her face. The face that I’ve wanted to see all night. I grabbed her arm, leading her to the corner of the corridor. She looked puzzled. I know. Even I am puzzled of why I’m doing this. Why I’m bothered by the fact that I don’t want her to disappear.
But seeing her face up close like this, seeing her face close to mine, I get it.
I might… be falling for her.
Writer’s POV
“Yah Jung Yong Hwa…” Shin Hye said, “What are you doing here?”
Without seeing anything, he continued to look into her eyes. And she felt confused even more. She couldn’t think of anything and when she was still unable to process anything, he pulled her into a tight embrace.
“Yah…” she muttered, trying to let go, but Yong Hwa tightened his grasp.
“Don’t move.” He answered, and she obeyed his words without even knowing why she should obey him,
