Chapter Six
Imperfect LoveTheir lessons were filled with laughter and joy since then. Yong Hwa smiles frequently and Shin Hye was freer to ask anything. They were friends. They were comfortable with each other. A month, and more months passed as they became closer.
“Yah Park Shin Hye.” Soo Jung called, “Do you know? Valentine’s coming!!”
“Eoh.” Shin Hye said, not caring about anything Soo Jung said. She was too focused on her book. The library wasn’t crowded at all but she didn’t intend to make some noises.
Dissatisfied with her friend’s answer, she complained, “Yah! You’re too emotionless!”
“Hey, Soo Jung ah. Do you know how to make this one?” Shin Hye asked, showing Soo Jung the book she was reading. Instead of answering, Soo Jung gasped.
“Yah, Park Shin Hye..” she said, “daebak…..”
“Why?”
“You’re even making chocolate now?”
“Can’t I?”
“Are you sick or something? Did you eat the wrong medicine?” Soo Jung said and touched Shin Hye’s forehead wih her palm.
“Yah! I’m not sick!” Shin Hye said as she slapped away Soo Jung’s hand.
“You can’t even heat water with stove! What are you going to do about making chocolate!”
“That’s why I’m asking you how to make it!”
Soo Jung smiled, “Got it! We’ll make it together after class!”

The moment Shin Hye entered the dining room of Jungs, she smiled happily when she didn’t even know why. It feels like there are strings which pulled the end of her lips upwards.
“Hi!” Yong Hwa greeted as he’s walking down the stairs with his books.
“Hi!” she greeted back, “how did your chemistry test go last time?”
“well my friend told me he saw the teacher marked mine 100, but I don’t know if it’s true.”
“awesome!” she said happily, “should we do the new chapter?”
“ah… if it’s possible, can we just do one hour instead of one and a half?”
“why?”
“I’m too tired today.”
“Oh sure then.”
Even after thirty minutes, Yong Hwa started to show his flaws, he couldn’t focus anymore. Instead of studying, he asked how it went for her student exchange in Australia.
“I’ve always gone to Australia every year around March for a swimming competition.” He said, “In Perth.”
“Ah really? That’s amazing.” She replied, “are you going there later for university?”
“well, not sure. I guess my mom wants me to go to the US.” He said, “I have US citizenship, you know.”
“really?”
“when my mom knew she was pregnant, mom and dad moved there for two years, and mom gave birth to me in the US.”
“woah… that’s pretty impressive… I mean, just to give you that US citizenship..”
“yea. And my brother was similar, but He’s Canadian,”
