Writer’s POV

Woo Bin was out for a swimming intensive training and thus was unable to attend the lesson with Shin Hye. The two have been growing a lot since they professed their like to each other, and being alone for lesson made them feel a bit awkward.

It’s not like they can show their affection in his house, after all, they haven’t officially dated, and above all, Yong Hwa hasn’t told his mom anything. And to avoid any suspicion from his mom and maids, he didn’t do anything lovely in lesson.

And for Shin Hye, when it’s a lesson, it’s a lesson. He’s her tutee and she’s his tutor. No more no less. And she tries to act professional.

As usual, Shin Hye checked his books to see which question she should give him, and among the books, there was a brochure of UNSW, and its courses for undergraduate degree.

“Ah sorry, it might get slipped there.” He said.

“You’re going to UNSW?” she asked.

“Yep. Medical school.”

“Why is it Australia?” she asked, hesitating. It seemed as if she wanted to know on one side, but didn’t want to on the other side.

“For someone…” he said, and smiled widely.

It’s you, noona. He said to himself. Because you said you’re going to UTS Sydney for master degree.

He just didn’t want to express that too aggressively. He wasn’t able to. He’s just a person who doesn’t express himself easily. But he believes his noona will know his thoughts.

Hearing that, Shin Hye smiled back, and tried all her might to suppress the tears in her lovely eyes.

For you childhood friend whom you love dearly, right? Good.. For you, then… She said to herself.

The moment she decided to let him think of her as a replacement, she didn’t care anymore about his childhood friend. She didn’t want to care if he reminisces about her, she didn’t want to care if he still says he misses her. Even if he says anything about Seo Hyun, she wouldn’t get angry.

It hurts me. But if I say I don’t like him telling me about another girl and tell him to stop, will he? Worse, will he talk back and hate me? I’m afraid of risking that. I can’t
