“I had the answers,

But now they mean nothing

‘Cause these walls caught me here with something”

Bobby stared between the two with utter confusion across his face.

Why did she call him ‘Oppa’? Have they dated?

No you idiot, they would’ve been caught by now. Just because you’re jealous.

Am not.

Bobby quickly ceased his mental argument, and focused on the awkward confrontation/reuniting that was taking place before his eyes. He gently clasped Nari’s hand in his own, her fingers cold and nimble against his skin as he sent her a confused, yet supportive look. But the gesture was also protective. Bobby’s brothers looked on with a mix of confusion and apprehension – they were all in the dark about the situation, them more than Bobby.

Her eyes told Bobby that for the first time since Japan, she was willing to bear her soul out once more – this time, Bobby wouldn’t be the only witness.

Nari sighed and stared back at G-Dragon, “I’m surprised you’re alive at this point considering what they did to Jaebum.”

“I see you've got someone else taking care of you now," G-Dragon scoffed, nodding towards Bobby with slight indifference. Bobby's hand tightened around Nari's, anger quickly surmounting in his gut. Bobby didn't know whether his Sunbae was referring to himself of Woo Ji Ho. He didn't want to know, frankly,

"But to be honest, I’m surprised you’re alive by this point considering what happened to you three years ago.” G-Dragon d for coolness in his tone, but the strain of tension was too obvious too ignore. More so when CL hissed at him over the inference; Bobby was beyond confused at CL’s reaction, and so was Nari apparently, but he figured he’d never understand the meaning of his Sunbaes’ exchange. The others still had their guns trained on Nari’ but they were more concerned about their leader as he conversed with their enemy. They’d be too conflicted over the situation to fire when it came to it.

“How do you know about what happened?” Nari’s voice as shaky, weak. Bobby’s hand instinctively tightened around her’s.

G-Dragon sighed, scratching his head, “Let’s say I know more than I care to admit.”

Bobby’s heart sunk when he heard Nari quietly in a gasp.

G-Dragon turned to the rest of his team, guilty but pleading as he assured them, “Put your guns down. She’s not hurting anyone, believe me.”

“How the heck are we supposed to trust that?” Park Bom demanded, her anger almost surpassing that of her lover, TOP, besides her. Bobby couldn’t help but hold an arm up protectively in front of Nari.

But Nari shoved his arm away, stepping out in front, unpredictable as per usual, “Because he freaking taught me how to hold a gun, let alone floor a grown man, and I sure as hell can guarantee that he’d disarm me within a heartbeat if I went there.”

Bobby’s jaw practically dropped to the floor at the realisation of things; G-Dragon was one of Nari’s old mentors. He’d long heard stories of his Sunbae once belonging to a very powerful crime group before defecting, but he’d brushed it off as mere rumour. But now? He could see the sheer similarities in fighting styles between the two play out before his eyes; their lithe, quick-fire attacks, not to mention signature right hook that Bobby had been on the receiving end of too many times to count. It all made sense now.

But why did he leave them the first place?

One by one, Bobby’s Sunbaes slowly lowered their guns, doubt clouding their expressions as they looked between one another with uncertainty. Bobby and his brothers stopped tensing so much as Nari began to explain their situation, yet by the end of her monologue, the tension returned as shock and sheer mistrust set in once more.

“So it was them all along?” Dara asked as shock began to set into her fine feautrues. Bobby remembered a youth of low-key crushing on his Noona. He blushed as she and Nari began to converse, and he didn’t doubt that Junhoe picked up on this. He sent his brother a wanring look not to make any unwanted comments.

Nari nodded, “You really think SM would be that interested in weakening your Family that we’d sacrifice our own Allies? We may be diabolical, but we’re certainly not wasteful at SM.”

“Oh the irony,” CL muttered under her breath as she kicked at the ground absent-mindedly. G-Dragon sent her a murderous look.

“Chaelin, a word with you, please,” he slowly walked away from the scene, treading over broken bits of wall and ash that had quickly mounted on the ground in the past few minutes. CL sighed heavily, sending a dirty look in Nari’s direction, before reluctantly following her fellow leader to face whatever telling off awaited her.

Bobby was too caught up in the exit to notice Nari’s unease, “Yah,” he called out to her softly, her dark eyes stormy as they rested on the spot CL once stood in. The rest of the groups began to chatter amongst themselves, debating whether or not to trust the kids, and whether or not to leave the burning building and get back in what remained of the action outside.

“Why do I feel like that woman knows something about me that I don’t? Something that I’m not supposed to know?” Nari mumbled as she looked up to Bobby with pained eyes, yearning for answers about a history so clouded in mystery that it was unlikely that a true story would ever come to light.

Bobby sighed, kicking at the ground absent-mindedly – he couldn’t help but feel slightly irritated over not knowing exactly how involved G-Dragon had been in Nari’s past, especially since she’d supposedly revealed everything to him in Japan.

Nari knew him better than to let his irritation get the better of him, “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about him sooner,” she scratched her head, blatantly unsure on how to go about this, “I wanted him to know that I was still alive before I came to terms with the truth myself.”

“I get it,” Bobby shrugged, trying his hardest to conceal his true unease, “You don’t have to apologise to me for anything.”

Except that was just it. She was clearly hurting enough as it was, and he didn’t want her to be feeling worse because of him. But Bobby couldn’t deny it seemed convenient that they’d been working alongside each other all this time, whilst she clearly knew she’d confront her old mentor sooner or later.

She wouldn’t use me like that – it’s pure coincidence, right?

His unease wasn’t soothed even when Nari clung onto him like she was holding on for life. Bobby's heart pumped harder and blood raced faster than before – be it excitement or apprehension, Bobby really didn’t want to know.

Soon enough the groups vacated the building, which burned and groaned harder and louder every minute that they remained there. Emergency services would swarm the place sooner or later, meaning they had mere minutes to unite YG and SM and stop this war before it could ever start properly.

“Our groups were instructed to disperse the scene as soon as our targets were eliminated,” G-Dragon explained to Nari as they fronted the pack, a brother ordering about his little, diligent sister no less. Bobby was hanging at the back with Hanbin, trying to get his best friend t

Chapter 3: Oh my goodness. The dance scene i could picture it in my head and it was perfect. The shooting scene i could also picture in my head and it was frightening yet perfect. Not my girl Suhyun though or even Hyunseung. I'm lowkey shaking because my crazy bias towards Moonbyul screams due to the image of her ripping her own dress to tourniquet herself is strong. That isn't even the main focus. I'm here for the action and drama. Will Bobby get to Nari? Let's see
