Why I love it:
The whole idea of finding a soulmate is menancingly scary for most parts even if it gives you an assurance that this meant not growing old alone. This story, despite having this kind of premise, funnily enough, focused on the mundane. It made me feel like experiencing love wouldn't just consist of happy memories but sad and painful ones as well. I might be looking deeply in to the fanfic than it was supposed to mean but it somehow had that effect on me.
See, how could you explain, how a simple "Oh, I'm sorry" could actually richochet an entire life into an array of more profound and satisfying experiences? That is what it did to me. It made me ponder about this. The story was just short and simple but the whole idea was played nicely in the development of an understanding of life's simplicity and how we take it for granted. Lastly, the story was cute and fluffy that in the end, it just made me wish more of it.
