Practise makes you perfect

Once we've loosened our embrace I exclaim:
"Before I can sing for you I'll need to practise, unnie. I can't risk to embarrass myself in front of you after all."
YooA grins at me and writes something down. It says:
"I haven't danced in a while as well, so I also need to practise."
At this HyoJung unnie exclaims:
"I'll help you with practising, Yeon-Ju-ah. We can use your old practise room, nae?"
YooA nods her head at this. I tell them:
"I'll go home, in order to practise there. Also, because I haven't been home in a while I need to check, if everything's alright there."
HyoJung nods her head, as YooA however again writes something down. My heart is melting, as she's written:
"Please come back tomorrow, Mimi. I already miss you."
I take one of her hands in mine and caress it softly, as I answer her:
"Of course, I won't let you alone this long, unnie. I really enjoy your company, you know."
Her cheeks are tinting slightly at this, making me giggle at her cute shyness. We continue to sit together for a while longer, as HyoJung unnie asks me:
"Mimi, do you want to stay over for lunch? I'll cook something now."
I nod my head and answer her:
"I'll gladly take this offer, unnie."
YooA smiles brightly at me at this, sending an odd tingly sensation to my stomach. My heart is melting, as I hear barking and it turns out that the puppy has woken up on my lap.
I its fur softly, which it seems to like a lot, as its tail is wiggling around happily. Aigoo, it's really so cute!
Soon we hear HyoJung unnie's voice call out:
"Lunch is ready, you two, pardon three. Come over here Mimi-ah, you get lunch, too."
I'm slightly confused at first and I start to laugh, as I remember that the puppy is also called Mimi after me. It seems to already recognize its name, as it comes running over to the kitchen eagerly at the mention of food.
YooA gets up from the couch and smiles at me, as we entwine our hands and make our way over to the dining room together. HyoJung unnie smiles as she sees us like this and says:
"I'm really so glad that the two of you are already this close with each other. It really was a blessing that you came into my dongsaeng's life, Mimi. I think we're both really thankful at this."
YooA nods her head in agreement. I'm slightly confused at this. HyoJung is actually YooA's older sister? Now it all makes sense to me.
I kept on wondering all this time about their relationship, since HyoJung introduced herself as YooA's manager and friend to me before.
She seemed to have noticed my confusion, as she explains to me:
"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you in which relation I really stand to Yeon-Ju all this time, Mimi, but I had to make sure that I can really trust you first, you know. Noone despite the three of us knows that Yeon-Ju and I are actually siblings."
I nod my head in understanding and tell her:
"Don't worry, unnie. I won't tell anyone about this. You can trust me in this."
She smiles and answers me:
"I know that I can now that I've gotten to know you better, Mimi. You are a really nice and warm-hearted girl. It's great that Yeon-Ju found a friend like you."
My cheeks are heating up at this, making HyoJung unnie exclaim:
"Aigoo, how come you're so shy out of a sudden, Mimi? There's absolutely no need to be embarrassed in front of my sister and I, okay?"
I nod my head and answer her:
"Yes, unnie. I'm just not really used to getting such nice compliments, you know."
We eat our lunch in a comfortable silence and I'm delighted at the taste of it. I guess, YooA must've learned her cooking skills from her unnie, as her food tasted just as delicious!
Once we're done eating I tell them:
"Thanks for the seriously delicious food, unnie. I'll go home now."
HyoJung unnie tells me:
"I'll drive you home, Mimi. You after all live quite far away from here, nae?"
I smile and answer her thankfully:
"That would be very nice of you, unnie."
YooA and I bid goodbye to each other, as we exchange a warm hug. The puppy seems to want to bid goodbye to me as well, as it is barking softly and rubbs against my legs.
YooA takes the puppy on her arms and comes over to me, as I it's fur softly. The little fur ball seems to be very content with this and so HyoJung unnie and I leave the house and she brings me over to the car.
YooA actually accompanied us, as she helps HyoJung unnie with heaving me out of my wheelchair and sitting me down in the passenger's seat.
Once my wheelchair is in the trunk and HyoJung sits in the driver's seat we drive off. I wave back at YooA who also waves at me, while her face is enlightened by a beautiful smile.
The ride actually doesn't take too long and after only about ten minutes we've already arrived at my home. HyoJung gets out of the car and goes back to the trunk, in order to get my wheelchair out of there.
She rolls it next to the passenger's seat and I open the door. Once I'm sitting in my wheelchair again HyoJung and I bid goodbye to each other and she drives back home.
I make my way to my home and open the front door, as I get inside. Somehow a feeling of loneliness and darkness is taking over me once I'm inside.
I know this feeling all too well. Just why do I constantly feel like this when I'm here? Deep in my mind I know the answer. My phone is ringing and I make my way over there.
My hands are shaking as I say:
"Yoboseyo?"
I gasp in shock, as I hear the familiar voice at the other end of the line:
"Hello, it's me."
