YooA P.O.V

Since HyoJung unnie drives like a maniac we've soon arrived at Mimi's old apartment. Unnie and I exit the car and go to the back of the car. Once we've carried the wheelchair to Mimi's side we help her sit in it and make our way to the door of the apartment.

When unnie opens the door we are greeted by the sight of an oddly familiar woman. I let my gaze shift around the room but am unable to see Mimi the puppy anywhere.

The woman says in an ice cold tone:

"Finally you came, Mimi. What took you so long, eh?"

Mimi hisses out:

"Where is the puppy, unnie? I know that you stole it in the park, didn't you? This is something inbetween the two of us and you shouldn't put the innocent puppy in danger just because you hate me."

Mwo? Why on earth does this woman hate Mimi? I remember her saying that she is very dangerous before but I didn't expect this! Just where have I seen that woman before?

She grins evilly and says in a sweet tone:

"You're mistaking something here, Mimi. I don't hate you but your beloved YooA. Can't you see that this mute wanna be dancer only uses you? It was a mistake to leave you, Mimi. Please come back to me. My door is always open for you.

Didn't we have a great time back then? You could move in with me again and we could get back together."

This is unbelievable! Is this woman actually Mimi's ex-girlfriend? How come Mimi never told me of her before? Somehow I feel betrayed now and jealousy pings in my chest.

Mimi says in an ice cold tone:

"Where is the puppy, unnie? We came all the way here, in order to get it back. You're wrong, we never had a great time. I was constantly left alone and downgraded by you.

I love YooA and she loves me back. You came too late, unnie. I'm not dependened on you anymore and I won't fall for your games anymore, Shin Hye Jin."

Shin Hye Jin? Suddenly it dawns on me. This woman is a famous correspondant that is often seen on news when they make reports from foreign countries.

I can't believe that this woman is actually such a cold-hearted and egoistic person! She gritts her teeth and tells Mimi:

"Your precious puppy is at a pet shelter. I brought it there because I hate animals as you very well know, Mimi."

I immediately start to hate this woman even more. People who hate animals are the worst! How dare she bring the poor puppy to a pet shelter?

I hiss out:

"How dare you bring a puppy that isn't even yours to a pet shelter? Just what a cruel person are you? I can only say that the hatred you feel towards me is mutual, Shin-ssi!

Tell me where you brought my poor puppy immediately, or I will call the police and report you to them which I will eventually do anyways because what you did was an illegal action and you need to be charged for that. You are insane, Shin-ssi!"

HyoJung unnie pats my shoulder and whispers:

"Yeon Ju-ah, please don't enrage this woman even more. Who knows if she has a knife, or a gun and she is gonna attack you for what you just said? This woman really is insane and I will call the police immediately and report her.

Staying at this place with her simply doesn't feel safe to me."

I nod my head and tell her:

"It would be very nice if you could do that, unnie. Hopefully she will tell us where she brought Mimi the puppy. I'm afraid for its dear life and I want it back!"

Tears are once again running down my face and Mimi tells me softly:

"Unnie, don't worry. We will get the puppy back. I will get Hye Jin unnie to tell us the address of the pet shelter. Is it okay for you if I talk to her in private for a moment?"

My eyes are widening in shock and I exclaim:

"No, please don't do that, Mimi-ah! What if this woman kills you? Please let's wait for the police first, okay? This way it will be safer."

I sigh inwardly in relief when Mimi agrees and says:

"Arasso. Maybe you are right, unnie. This way it will be safer. Why does Hye Jin unnie stay silent by the way? What is she up to?"

I can't believe my eyes when the woman is on the verge of jumping out of the livingroom window and flee. Fortunately I manage to catch her and pull her inside the house again.

I tell her in a threatening tone:

"You won't get away from your charge! The police are on the way here and will arrest you once they've arrived here, Shin Hye Jin. Where is my puppy, eh?"

She smiles like a madwoman and tells me sweetly:

"You would really like to know that, wouldn't you, Yoo Yeon Ju? I won't tell you anything though."

I drag her over to a chair where I sit her down harshly and say:

"You will have to tell it soon if you want it, or not. The police is gonna ask you for the same thing since you stole my puppy and put it in danger."

She wipes her eyes and in an overly dramatic voice she says:

"I'm close to tears, YooA. You poor thing, you. Losing your precious puppy surely must've been bad, especially because it was your only friend, nae?"

My face is burning and it is rather hard to contain myself in front of this unbelievable woman. How dare she say such things? It might be right that I don't have tons of friends but I'm pretty sure that she has no single friend with the way she is treating others.

Hopefully the police will come soon...
