DAY 23
Hundred WaysI'll wait
“Zitao, my classes don’t end in two hours.”
He helps me wear my bag and I eye him weirdly. What’s wrong with him? He doesn’t usually help me when I go to class. Instead, he uses his wushu thingy on my and wait by the door. I have to go find a cockroach just so he can go away.
Opening the door for me, Zitao beams, “I’ll wait.”
I walk pass him, even more confused with his actions. What the did I feed this man? I don’t remember spiking his egg and ham this morning.
We walk to his car and I hop in, buckling my seatbelt before he can even do it for me. I swear, something is very wrong with Zitao. Once we’re both inside, I give an eerie look, asking, “Is there something you want from me?”
“What do you mean?” He says as he starts the engine.
“I mean, if you want me to cook you beef or pork, you can always just ask.”
Zitao laughs, swerving to the left. “Is it wrong to wait for you until your class ends?”
I scowl, “You’re weird, you know. Very weird, the uncool kind of weird.”
“Nah, you love me anyway.”
“Unfortunately, I do.”
