DAY 02 

“It reminded me of you.”

Slipping under the covers, I feel the mattress sink, immediately turning around to welcome my giant in bed with a big hug. It’s been so long since he last slept over. He had been busy with work so I didn’t insist him to stay. But now that he’s beside me, I have something other than a pillow to cuddle with.

The lights are closed but Zitao likes it when my window is slightly open, saying that the moon wants to watch over us. It was stupid, but I let him be.

“I missed the scent of your pillows.” He murmurs against my hair once I’m comfortably resting my head on his chest, my finger drumming on the expanse of skin.

“You can just say you missed my shampoo.” I chuckle.

He hums, “I’m starting to actually like honey now. It reminded me of you.”

“That’s so sweet.” I reach up to give his chin a kiss.

Zitao wraps his arms around me and says, “Now, let’s talk about what you missed about me.”
