Because I Blame You

Staring up at the classroom clock, Sarah pushed her lip to the side, a quiet sigh escaping from her lips as she slowly pulled out her cellphone but kept it away from her Professor's view. Well then again, she was kinda seated in the back, but she still had to be very careful since this she had to call professor was a complete stiff.

To think that she ended up waking half an hour early because of a text message Young Woong sent her. Her first class was 8:30 and she normally woke up around 7:00. But she ended up waking up at 6:30 instead because she jolted awake when her phone randomly beeped and vibrated next to her ear.

“Aisha!?” she shot up and quickly looked around. For a moment, her surroundings were really blurry, but then once everything cleared up, she looked down at her phone, which had just turned off the light from the screen. Muttering a few words in gibberish, she picked up the silly thing, flipped it open and read the text message.

Think you can meet up with me a tad bit earlier? Lets hang out for the day instead of just the dinner?
d^-^b
- Young Woong

“You woke me up just to ask me that?” the corner of her right eye twitched a bit before she snapped her phone closed and attempted to use the 29 minutes she had left to sleep. However, she found herself unable to sleep for the remainder of the time. With a groggy groan, Sarah decided to get up and just spend the extra time studying or just wasting it surfing on the internet or whatever. Deciding to not get ready for her first class just yet, Sarah decided to go to the kitchen and fix herself a slightly earlier thing of breakfast.

Walking by the couch, she noted the two heads on the couch. She was about to say something, but then events of last night rushed through her head and she ended up leaving the love birds alone.

And here I thought that yesterday was a dream... She mused mentally as she read the message a few times and somewhat ignored her Professor's philosophy lecture. She had had idea why she ended up taking this class, but she was here and just trying to deal.

Before she knew it, her Professor finally dismissed the class a bit earlier than expected. Not like she minded, she really found this class to be utterly boring and she was just about ready to drop it.

“Oh! Why do I even bother...” she sighed heavily as she stumbled out of that classroom. Actually, the reason why she got that class was because she had a huge gap between her morning and afternoon class, so she decided to see if she could find a class to fill in the gap. Unfortunately Philosophy was the only class that didn't require her to over kill herself with forced excise, so she signed up for it.

And now she regretted it.

Looking down at her watch, she had exactly one hour before her next class started, meaning she had some time to see if there was anything she needed to do or if she forgot to finish up any assignments since she skipped out on homework the night prior.

“Oh crap...” she muttered when she sat down and looked at her Calculus homework. Whipping out her cellphone, she immediately dialed a certain person's number and anxiously waited for him to answer.

“What?”

“JAE MINNNNNN!”

Two minutes later, Jae Min appeared, looking not too happy. He had a two hour gap between his morning and afternoon class, which he normally spent with Alex; however, she only had half an hour between two of her classes.

“You know, if I found time to finish this, then you should have found the time too,” he grumbled as he sat next to her. Pulling out the oversized textbook, Sarah quickly flipped over the page to the assignment. Although he wasn't taking Calculus that term, he had taken it last term and he practically aced it without much of a sweat. Park Jae Min was not only hot, but really smart as well.

“Yes and I have exactly fifty five more minutes until my next class and I have to turn this in for a grade~” she laughed as he leaned against the table, pulled the textbook closer to him and read over it.

Besides Alex, Jae Min was one of Sarah's first friends when she first came to Korea. Though she could have easily kept a conversation with any other person around her; it was the fact that she was way too shy to actually say anything. Meeting Jae Min was a bit of an fluke, especially since he often had people around him. It was a bit of a cliché moment for the both of them... Girl sees boy. Boy doesn't see girl. Girl's too shy to say anything. Boy looks at her for the first time. Girl is surprised and she accidentally has a klutzy moment that makes her lose some important paperwork. Boy willingly helps her. Girl is grateful. Both start talking and before she knew it, they become really good friends.

And there was this small moment that Sarah found herself having a bit of a crush on him. Well, who could possibly blame her? Not only was he good looking, but he was intelligent, friendly-ish, understanding, helpful when asked to be and really cared for those close to him. However, like any other human, he did have his flaws. He sometimes came off as an , he cursed out loud a lot and sometimes he came off to be cold, sarcastically mean and blunt when he shouldn't be.

Unfortunately for her, he ended up with her roommate/best friend, which she secretly admitted to herself that she was a tad bit peeved but after awhile, she got used to it and just supported the two as much as she could.

“And right there,” he finished, after going through the formula a few times, although it was clear that the entire explanation practically flew over her head and he already knew it, “Aish... Woman.”

“Sorry!” she apologized as she dropped her pencil on her notebook and leaned against the table, “I'm really slow at this... Hell, I dunno what I took that somehow made me pass Algebra 2 back in high school!”

“Well, I can't necessarily dumb it down than I already have...” he snorted, which gave him a smack from the girl he was now attempting to tutor.

“Then lets switch brains!” she countered with a frown.

“You know, if you used it more than you normally do, then we wouldn't need to...”

“Aigoo... Jerk...”

Back at the dorms, Yunho had just finished eating his morning meal that he ended up making for himself. It didn't consist of much, but it was something to settle himself until the lunch time hour. Walking out of the kitchen, he found his younger brothers all lazing about on the sofa, well at least that's what Junsu and Yoochun were doing. Changmin had a small bag of what seemed to be chips or whatever while he laid on their recliner, his eyes glued to what seemed to be Yoochun's DS console.

“Is that all you three are going to be doing all day?” the leader questioned, suddenly feeling rather lazy himself since the air held such a relaxing feel to it.

“We dunno what to do...” Junsu pouted as he looked up at his leader, “And Jaejoong-hyung's acting really perky right now...”

“Eh?” Yunho rose a brow as he shifted his head toward the hallway's direction before he returned his attention back to the younger one, “Perky?”

“For lack of better term, yes,” the Aegyeo King of their group answered with a soft nod and leaned against Yoochun, who had his eyes glued to the movie they were watching, “He was like that since I woke up this morning. He even volunteered to reorganize my side of the closet and he made my bed for me... While I was still IN it...”

Not knowing what to say about that, the leader merely nodded slowly before he exited the room and went straight for the small bedroom Junsu shared with Jaejoong. Peaking into the room, he found Jaejoong on the floor and he was indeed reorganizing his younger brother's closet, while humming Balloons as he tossed a few shoes in a box.

“Found something to do today?”

Turning to his leader, Jaejoong nodded even though he wasn't exactly dressed for it. Then again, he still had a few hours before he was going to meet up with Sarah at meeting place they agreed on. Today was the start of the the break that was promised to the boys and the very first thing Jaejoong was going to do was to woo a certain girl.

Right after he finished cleaning out Junsu's share of the closet.

“I'll probably be gone all day,” the elder informed, “So don't wait up for me.”

The leader merely nodded before he turned around and left his brother to continue with whatever he was doing earlier. Once he returned to the living room, he found three pairs of eyes staring up at him, which almost startled him. With a light glare, Yunho made his way back into the kitchen.

“What did he say?” Changmin was the first person to ask as he sat up straight.

“Nothing really,” Yunho answered as casually as he could, though, he suddenly realized that he had no idea why he went to the kitchen.

“Did you even ask him what he was doing today?” this time Yoochun decided to pipe in. Yunho shook his head before he opened a small cabinet and pulled out a small glass cup.

“Damnit...” Junsu muttered, though the entire room could hear it, “Something going on and I intend to find out.”

“You can't be serious...” Changmin frowned as he closed the DS.

“I want to know why or what's causing hyung's spontaneous perkiness!”

“That's really none of our business...” Yunho also frowned after finishing the glass of water he poured for himself.

“Aish, don't deny it... You wanna know why too, hyung!”

Yunho wasn't going to lie, he too wanted to know why Jaejoong had been acting so off as of late, but at the same time, it was Jaejoong's business and if he wanted to flaunt it, then he would have said something. So, he wasn't going to completely admit that he wanted to know...

The leader only flashed his younger brother a look before he placed the glass in the sink.

“You guys can do whatever you want,” Junsu made a face, “I'm following him.”

“No, you're going to leave him alone,” Yunho corrected sharply, “Leader's orders!”

“Don't tell me what to do on my free time!” Junsu countered as he stood up, “Or else I'm telling hyung that you moan out his name at night!”

“Bwoh?!” Yoochun and Changmin shouted as they both shot from their seats, their eyes doing a ping pong effect between the smirking Aegyeo King and the beet red leader.

“You!” Yunho stuttered while he pointed an accused finger at him, “You wouldn't dare!”

“Wanna bet?” Junsu challenged as he dashed for his room, “HYUNNNNNNNNNG!”

“KIM JUNSU, I'M GOING TO FILLET THAT MOUTH OF YOURS!”

Well, it looks like Young Woong got his wish. Staring at the door, there was a little note left from her professor, telling the students that he had an emergency to take care of and so that meant class was going to be canceled for the day. Shrugging, Sarah immediately whipped out her cellphone and started to text.

Alright, looks like you got your wish. My last class got canceled, so we can hang out somewhere if you're still up to it.
- Sarah

Pressing the send button, she began to stuff it back into her pocket; however, she felt it vibrate and with a sigh, she took it out and read over the message.

Really?! Yay! Meet you at the plaza in about twenty or so minutes!
^^
- Young Woong

A small, closed lip smile appeared on her lips as she shook her head. Honestly, this guy was starting to rub on her, in a good way at least. He was charming but she kind of wish she could have seen more of his face at least.

And with a small sigh, she casually made her way toward her apartment. As expected, she found it to be completely empty because Alex was still in the campus, going through a lecture. Going straight for her room, she offhandedly dropped her bag and her stuff on her bed and went straight to the bathroom for a quick shower. Right after, she threw on something casual, yet something she'd normally wear with friends if she were going out with them.

After applying some light make up, she quickly looked down at her digital clock, which read that she only had five minutes to get out of her house and make it to the plaza, “Oops...”

She was practically meeting up with a stranger and she knew that, but it would be rude if she didn't at least let him know ahead of time that she was going to be running late. And besides... She added mentally, He looked really eager...

“Wait a minute...” she muttered out loud and stared off into space, “I'm not sure if I should be flattered... Or afraid.”

After sending Young Woong a text message, she immediately left a note on the table for Alex to read once she decided to go home. And once she was done with that, she grabbed her purse and made her way over to the meeting spot.

Sorry, you might have to wait a bit... I'm running late.
- Sarah

Reading the text message, Jaejoong couldn't help but frown as he leaned against the wall all casually like. He was dressed rather stylish, a lot of people's attention were fixated on his rather model worthy figure, but no one really seemed to recognize him, which he was really happy about. Anxiously, he pushed himself from the wall and took another glance around his surroundings.

Unbeknown to him, a group of rather silly looking individuals continued to watch their hyung, who had yet to really do much besides wait and look around. A few times he would glance at their general direction, which caused the four of them to act like they were either reading, talking or managed both at the same time. Jaejoong had yet to really notice them as well, which they sighed a few times when he looked away.

“Okay, why did I get dragged into this?” Yunho questioned hoarsely.

“We said you didn't have to come with us,” Junsu answered lowly as he fixed his beanie cap. To be honest, the four of them looked like a bunch of rich hobos... If that made any sense. It was the fact that they had on so many layers of clothing that gave people that strange impression.

“Yes, but if I didn't come, you three may end up getting yourselves in trouble... And either way, if you did... I'd get my head bitten off regardless.”

“That's just his way of saying that he was also curious,” Yoochun snickered as he peaked over at Jaejoong's direction once again. The other three boys did the same thing; Junsu gasping when Jaejoong finally detached himself from the wall and quickly made his way down the sidewalk. A taxi van had stopped on the curb and Jaejoong instantly opened the door. Soon, a pair of feet came into their line of vision and finally, the body of a young woman climbed out.

“Really guys...” Yunho sighed as he looked at his younger brothers, who were a tad bit disappointed that their hyung was just here for a woman.

“Well...” Changmin smiled lopsidedly as he turned his attention to his hyungs, “I guess he was just going on a date with some girl...”

“Wait!” Junsu shot up from his seat, “I remember that girl! It was the girl he picked at the concert yesterday!”

Simultaneously, the other three boys looked over at their hyung and the girl, who seemed to be surprised. Jaejoong leaned over at the taxi van, pulled out a bill and handed it to the driver while the girl started waving her hands, most likely asking him that he didn't have to pay for her taxi fare.

“Ooooh!” Changmin laughed.

Once Jaejoong turned to the girl for the moment, she ended up nodding in agreement and they began making their way down the sidewalk. Instantly, the boys got up from their seats and quietly followed the couple.

During all of this, Sarah had once again texted Young Woong, telling him that she ended up taking a taxi and that she was just made it across the stop light that turned to the plaza. And what really surprised her was when she noticed a rather good looking individual walk up to her cab, open the door for her and helped her out of the van. Was he Young Woong? She couldn't help but feel the blood rush to her cheeks when she got a better look at the male who had helped her out the night prior. Though, for a concert staff worker, he sure knew how to dress rather... Stylishly.

“Erm...” Sarah muttered as she watched this person pull out his wallet, “Yah! Young Woong-ssi, you don't have to do that!”

“No, it's fine,” he flashed her a charming smile before he leaned over and handed the driver the bill. Sarah then began to frantically wave her arms at him, telling him that she could pay for the fare herself, but it seemed that he wouldn't allow her to. With a defeated sigh, Sarah stopped and just patiently waited for him to get the change.

“Aish...” she muttered as Young Woong looked down at her.

“Did you eat yet?” he questioned.

She shook her head, “I came straight here after I got dressed...”

“Oh! Then lets go eat~” he suggested. Sarah merely nodded gently and followed him down the sidewalk.

Before she knew it, he ended up taking her to a rather nice restaurant. Like a gentleman, he happily opened the door for her and also treated her for the lunch. Although he was acting a bit nervous and anxious, Sarah couldn't help but somewhat wonder if she had seen him somewhere else too. Well, yeah... She met him at a concert, but since it was rather dark outside, she couldn't really see his face all that well. This was because of the weird lighting all around.

They circled the entire shopping plaza, Sarah indulging herself in some shopping, which Young Woong had practically paid for, much to her dismay.

“I thought I was suppose to be treating you since I lost our little bet?” she questioned him as they were seated at the sushi restaurant. Honestly, Sarah was having the time of her life... She never really experienced this kind of outing with another guy. Just her and her date, enjoying the day... Though, she couldn't help but notice that everyone kept looking at them, well mainly Young Woong. But he just kept smiling and enjoyed his outing with her.

“It's fine,” he once again reassured her with a smile, “I dragged you out here anyway, so it's the least I can do.”

Pushing her lip to the side, Sarah merely shrugged, “Ah by the way... It's pretty dark in here, why are you still wearing your sunglasses?”

She saw him flinch and this awkward air surrounded the both of them, “I... Uhm... I don't think I should...”

“Why not?” she asked with a small laugh, “I mean, it's not like you're celebrity or whatever.”

“Uhm... Well...” he muttered as he nervously looked away. Sarah once again laughed, before shaking her head and took a sip of her drink, “And if I was...?”

That caught her off guard, “Bwoh?”

“If I was a celebrity... An idol...” he answered gently as he looked at her.

“Uhm... I don't know,” she replied, almost whispering it. Jaejoong thought about it, but then nodded when he looked at her again.

“I don't want to lie to you Sarah...”

Looking up, Sarah's heart skipped a few beats when she watched as Young Woong slowly took off his sunglasses; however before he could completely take them off, a random group of four men threw themselves at Jaejoong.

“No hyung! Not here!” they all shouted at the same time.

“Oh my God! It's Park Yoochun!” some woman screamed as she shot up from her seat. Immediately Sarah and the rest of his bandmates all looked at Yoochun, whose glasses had fallen off when he had jumped for Jaejoong. Sarah's eyes had widen greatly and the sound of screaming echoed in the once quiet restaurant.

Out of instinct, Jaejoong grabbed Sarah's wrist and the couple, plus the other boys made a run for it. And not far behind them, a large group of people came chasing after the group, screaming out gibberish that Sarah was having a hard time comprehending at the moment. She had no idea what was going on, but she just kept running.

Once they were out of public sight, all six of them collapsed from all that running; however, Sarah turned and looked at the boys.

“Okay, what was that?” she questioned as she looked over at Yoochun, who was leaning against the wall, “Wait a minute, Park Yoochun? Micky?!”

Uh... Hi...” he greeted her in English.

“No... No, this can't be real...” she whispered as she took a step back and somewhat walked into Jaejoong, “This can't be real...!”

The other boys didn't say anything, except take off their sunglasses and flashed Sarah some guilty expressions.

“Max... U-Know... Xiah...” she muttered, her breathing beginning to labor as she turned around and was officially face to face with... “Young Woong...?”

“Yah... Sarah-ssi...” Jaejoong bit down on his lip as he looked down at her.

“DBSK...? I'm surrounded by DBSK...” she started mumbling random gibberish as she held her head, “Yah... I need to lay do—”

Thump.

“Yah! Sarah-ssi!”
