The Things I do for You

It was almost 2:30 in the morning as he sat down on a swing, his feet planted on the ground and lightly pushed himself to and fro. His red scarf protected his nose, mouth and his neck from the cold, while the black beanie he wore protected his head. He recently returned from Japan; however, this was the first time he would see her since his return.

The sound of rapid footsteps caused him to jerk back to reality and glance up at the direction he believed the noise was coming from. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself, especially when he had a better view of the runner that was coming toward him. She was in her pajamas, wearing a thick coat and a taxi hat.

“O-oppa!” she managed to call out as she came to a skidding stop. Just before she could hurt herself, Jaejoong got up from his seat, stood in her general direction and held out his arms. She almost felt like she was in an Anime at this moment. Because everything felt like it was in slow motion. The way that she collided into him, but he used his body to stop her and practically come flying into his embrace. She blinked a few times, her arms limp at her sides as he held her tight and close, it was almost as if he wasn't going to see her ever again or something, “S-something wrong?”

“No,” he answered in a whispering manner, his eyes closed as he inhaled gently, “I... Just missed you... A lot.”

At first, she was really surprised, this funny feeling appearing in her stomach and in her chest as he held onto her. And with her own smile, she gingerly returned the embrace, her arms wrapping themselves around his waist and slowly tightening them.

“Welcome back, Oppa,” she whispered as she buried her head into his chest.

The couple merely stayed like that, enjoying one another's company as snow began to fall around them. Within a few moments, Sarah pulled away a bit, letting Jaejoong get a nice look of her flushed face as she smiled gently up at him. Of course, he couldn't help but smile back. Releasing one arm, the girl reached up, pulling down the scarf so that she could see his entire face. Helping her a bit, he loosened the scarf before the both of them found themselves slowly leaning toward one another...

“Oppa...” Sarah whispered before repeating the word, her voice slowly becoming fake.

“Eh? What's wrong with your voice...?”

“Hyung, wake up!”

WHACK!

Jaejoong's eyes snapped open, his entire body frozen as he found four pairs of highly concerned eyes staring right at him. That right there startled him.

“Byullahaaaaaaae?!” Jaejoong yelped and rolled away. Junsu broke into a loud laugh.

“Is that even Korean?!” the younger of the two snorted as Changmin shoved him aside, “Aigoo!”

Ignoring the thump, Yunho merely shook his head and returned his attention back to the lead singer, who seemed to be out of it again. Leading forward, Yunho immediately rose his hand and started snapping his fingers in front of the older male's face. And having almost poking his eyes, Jaejoong leaned back, his eyes narrowing slightly before he swatted the leader's hand away.

“We only have a few minutes until Manager-hyung picks us up,” Yoochun informs as he begins to walk off.

“Bwoh?! Why didn't anyone wake me up earlier?!”

Shuffling out of the room, Yoochun, Changmin and Yunho quickly exit, completely forgetting about Junsu, who was still lying on the floor of the dorm room. And it seemed that Jaejoong had also forgotten about the poor dolphin because he ended up tripping on him.

“I feel so irrelevant...” Junsu sobbed out softly and wiped an imaginary tear from his eye.

“Junsu, come on,” Yoochun appeared out of nowhere. Stepping over Jaejoong, the dandy boy peeled off the dolphin from the floor and dragged him out of the room, leaving the lead singer to do whatever.

Back in her apartment, Sarah continued to quietly sit on her bed. Ever since that kiss Minwoong had given her, she couldn't help but be rather bothered. Not to mention that little lie she pulled in order to reject his sudden proposal.

“I'm going to get him in trouble,” she whispered as she curled her fingers into a fist and gently knocked her forehead against the palm of her hand, “I can't believe I just said that! Granted, the doesn't believe me... But how the hell am I going to make him leave me alone!”

Groaning, the girl ruffled her hair and leaned back, now lying on her back and staring up at the blank ceiling. Her eyes fluttered close, the lack of sleep officially getting to her as she sprawled her arms out like an eagle and began to lightly breathe.

“What the hell Lee Minwoong?!” Sarah snapped as she shoved him away and glared at him. A tad bit stunned himself, Minwoong easily brushed it off and looked at the glaring girl in front of him.

“I meant what I said,” he kept an composed expression as he looked at her, “I like you and I've liked you since you first came here.”

“What?” she questioned, still angry, but her tone somewhat softer and her expression a bit calmer, “This is the first time the both of us have ever met and spoken.”

Rolling his eyes, the taller of the two let out a snort before he looked back at her, “God, you're really that oblivious? Or you really only had eyes for Jaemin?”

“W-what are you talking about?” she flustered as a pink stain appeared on her cheeks and she quickly looked away, “I don't have eyes for Jaemin and besides, you already know that he's practically glued to Alex's side. A-and I'm over it.”

“Before,” he corrected as he managed to get closer to her, “When you first came here and the two of you met. I was there when you bumped into him and I also helped you picked up the papers. But you looked past me and went straight for Jaemin.”

Sarah began to rack her brain for any memory that pertained Minwoong and after thinking hard, her eyes widened and she finally remembered someone handing her half of the papers she was holding, to her, but she looked past him and went straight for Jaemin who also helped her out. And she even forgot to say thank you.

“That was you?” she questioned as she finally looked at him, “Aigoo... I'm so sorry! I never got to thank you for that.”

Another snort came out from his lips, “Really... Am I really that invisible? I sit next to you in Philosophy class.”

Wow... I feel like an ... She mentally sighed as she bit her lip, “Minwoong-ssi... I'm really sorry about this.”

“You can apologize all you want,” he gave her a straight look, “But they're just going to be words to me that's already lost its meaning, unless you're going to actually do something about it.”

“What exactly do you want me to do then?” she snapped, though she didn't really mean to, “A-ah... Sorry.”

“Go out with me,” he replied instantly, “At least give me a chance.”

At this point, he had her between his body and a random tree. Looking straight up at him, Sarah still had that agitated expression on her face, before it soften just a bit, but she quickly looked away.

“I can't...”

He just stared at her.

“I... I already have a boyfriend,” she lied-ish? Well, by the way Jaejoong's been treating her, she might as well (believe it or not) call him her boyfriend.

“Alex told me otherwise.”

“S-she doesn't know,” Sarah continued as she glanced up at him, “And it's a bit recent, my relationship. I didn't want to tell anyone until I was sure and if I was going to be really serious with him.”

“Fine,” he managed to say as composed as he could, “Who is he?”

“This guy,” Sarah then took out her cellphone, flipping it open and showing him her wallpaper, which she left on because he was going to punish her if she changed it. Minwoong immediately grabbed the cellphone, his eyes narrowing before they widen. It was a selca picture of Jaejoong, when he was with her one random day. He had grabbed her phone and took a picture of himself making some ridiculously adorkable kissy face. Honestly, she fell over laughing at that picture, but quickly stopped when he made a erted remark. She still couldn't believe how much of a... Scary ert this guy was, especially when most of the time, he doted on her like a mother would with hisher child.

“Who the hell...?” Minwoong muttered before he snapped his head at her direction, “You... You can't be serious.”

“And if I was?” she questioned, keeping a straight face. Minwoong's eyes darted between the screen and the girl, his expression still a tad bit shocked but then he brushed it off and started to laugh, “What's so funny?”

“No...” Minwoong laughed as he closed her phone shut and handed it back to her, “Just... No. This has to be the weirdest way to be rejected by a girl. Don't you have a better excuse than this? I don't believe this at all.”

“I'm not lying!”

“If you're dating Kim Jaejoong, then I'm having a secret affair with Kim Taeyeon from SNSD,” he continued to laugh, “Seriously Sarah, if you have a better excuse than this, please tell me or else I'll keep pestering you about a date.”

“I'm not lying about this!” she snapped, “I wouldn't dare lie about something like this! You think I wouldn't risk the fact that I could be rage killed by millions of fangirls worldwide if I weren't?”

There was something in her angered eyes that caused to pause for a moment. It was as if she were telling the truth... Either that or she was one hell of a great liar. The two of them had a stare down, but Minwoong was the first to break it before he gave her a look.

“Alright then,” he muttered lowly as he took a step back, but continued to stare her down, “Prove it. Prove to me that you're his girlfriend.”

“...”

“Well?”

She couldn't help but swallow hard. Tearing her eyes away from the boy, she stared at the concrete below for a good few seconds before he balled up her free hand into a fist and shot him a hard expression, “I'll prove it to you Lee Minwoong.”

He smirked, “Alright princess... This is gonna be good.”

“But under one condition!” she added, “You can't expose us in any shape, matter or form. This entire thing is between you, me and him, got it?”

“You have my word~” he smiled (rather smugly) as he pretended to zip his mouth shut, “My lips are sealed.”

Sarah's fingers twitched, her eyes fluttering open as a bright light startled her. Shooting up from her awkward position, the girl rubbed her eyes, only to find a certain someone sitting on the edge of her bed, hunched over and the sound of paper crunching caught her ears.

“O-oppa...?” she quietly called out. At the sound of her voice, Jaejoong turned around, a bright smile on his face as he crawled over to her and practically threw himself so now she was laying down, with him on top of her, “Yah!?”

“I missed you so much Gong Ju~!” he nuzzled her cheek with his own, “I came here as soon and as fast as I cooooooooould~”

“Aigoo,” she groaned, “Oppa, get off... Please?”

“No~” he giggled as he hugged her tighter, “I like it here.”

“Moron...” a small smile tugged on her lips as she closed her eyes, “Oppa...”

“Hmmm?” he hummed quietly, staying in his position.

“You didn't have to come here,” she muttered as she shifted her body, causing Jaejoong to lightly roll off to the other side of her bed, “Maybe I should just lie to Minwoong—”

“Sarah-ah,” propping himself to his side with his arm, he used his free hand to brush away some hair away from her face, “You know I really like you, ne?”

Opening her eyes, she turned her head to face him, “Ne Oppa...”

He smiled gently, “Then don't worry about it... I'm not. As long has I can be with you like this, then I don't care about anything else.”

“Oppa...”

Leaning forward, he gently pressed his forehead against hers, his lips brushing the tip of her nose, which he then kissed gently. A pink coloring soon brushed itself along her cheeks, her eyes widening slightly before she blinked a few times. Her heart began to pound ruthlessly against her chest, causing her to shrink away; however, Jaejoong instantly pulled her back. Wrapping one arm around her waist, he managed to pull her so now she was on top of him instead. Sarah's face only flushed a deeper red; never in her life has she found herself in this position with a guy, let alone a hot... Korean idol.

New feeling rushed within him as he stared up at the girl. His eyes glassing over with need as he reached up and curled some strains of her black hair behind her ear, which gave him a better view of her innocent face. A long while had passed since that day at the concert. The same day they locked eyes for the first time, to the day he kissed her for the first time and now at this very moment. He couldn't help but smile gratefully at her as he pulled her down, so now she was laying on top of him, his arms securing her there as he closed his own eyes.

He never did doubt the fact that he really liked her... Or adored her to no end. But being in love with a completely different story. He didn't want to rush things and even though she was a bit of an easy read, he still wasn't too sure of her feelings toward him. She easily accepted the fact that he was a celebrity, that had the world's largest fanbase; hell, she tried her damnest to stay away from him, but he always managed to find a way back into her life.

The girl was indeed a different one. He had never met someone so strange yet real. She was the first person he had ever met who tried to run away from him. He was so used to having girls run to him, her strange ways was something he kind of find amusing and refreshing at the same time. Which was also another reason why he often came back for more of.

And at this exact moment, he declared something, to himself mostly, but he promised that he'd tell her soon, when he believed the time was right.

Kim Jaejoong, the center face and lead vocalist of the world famous boy group Dong Bang Shin Ki, was in love. He was in love with Sarah Lin, just another face in the crowd, but the face he often dreamnt about and would always look for.

Neither one of them realized the time. The both of them had fallen asleep on one another before a knock on the front door somewhat stirred Jaejoong from his nap. Opening his eyes, the idol couldn't help but inwardly chuckle at the sight in front of him. Waking up with Sarah right there was a very nice feeling he really liked and sometimes wondered about if he could see that lovely sight every time he woke up.

Another loud knock caused him to break away from his trance, but he was still a bit dazed. Without much of a conscious or a thought, Jaejoong gently slid the girl off of him and laid her down comfortably on her bed. He noticed it was still light out, meaning that it was still the daytime, obviously, but then he muttered something as he stretched out his body and made his way out of the room and toward the front door.

Without checking the peephole, a soft yawn escaped from his lips as he casually opened the door and stared at who knocked on the door.

“About time you o... OH MY GOD?!” Alex screamed as she jumped back. The sudden scream of Sarah's roommate instantly woke Jaejoong up and out of his daze and out of nowhere, he slammed the door closed.

Running back to the room, he ignored the door that was shoved opened by Alex, along with a handful of people right behind the girl, Jaejoong couldn't help but yelp when he shoved the bedroom door closed and locked it.

“What happened...?” Sarah's tired voice rung in his ears, “Who was at the door...?”

No words came out from Jaejoong's mouth as he leaned back against the bedroom door, which was now being pounded on, along with some voice yelling.

“Sarah Lin!” came the voice of Yunmi, who was pounding on the door, “OPEN THIS DOOR, THIS INSTANT!”

Sarah's eyes widen at the familiar voice of Yunmi, which caused her to scramble off her bed, practically falling off of it as she grabbed Jaejoong and threw him on the bed.

“S-something wrong?” Sarah called out as she carefully unlocked the door and cracked it open. Much to her surprise, everyone was there... Jaemin, Alex, Yunmi, Kai, Hana and even Minwoong, who had this look of disbelief on his handsome face, “C-can I help you?”

“When were you going to tell us, huh?!” Alex demanded as she shoved Yunmi out of the way and attempted to pry the door open.

“Aigoo!” the girl yelped as she has the bottom corner of the door ram against her foot, “Ow! Alex, what are you talking about?”

“KIM JAEJOONG!” came Yunmi's shrilly scream, “When were you gonna tell us that you were dating Kim Jaejoong?!”

“BWOH?!” Sarah squealed, which caused her to loosen her grip on the door, which allowed Yunmi and Alex to shove the door open. In an instant, Sarah fell backward, which Jaejoong immediately caught when he shot up from the bed. Soon, the entire group was crowding the entrance way of the bedroom, blocking any means of escape for both Sarah and Jaejoong.

“You really have a lot of explaining to do...” was the only thing Yunmi said as her eyes darted from her friend and her bias.

Both Jaejoong and Sarah looked at on another, Jaejoong easily keeping his composure while Sarah gulped loudly.

This was going to be an interesting story...
