Year 2015 went on with a blink of an eye, and it is time for year end award shows already.

During 2015, Red Velvet, with the addition of Yeri, managed to comeback successfully not only once, but twice with hit songs 'Ice Cream Cake' and 'Dumb Dumb'. Not only that, Red Velvet also appeared on many variety shows, radio shows and even promoted fairly long on music broadcasts. Red Velvet's certainly caught the public's attention and is considered one of the brightest rising girl group in the future. Perhaps, this is the starting of Red Velvet's glorious days. As for Irene, she has been busy with her weekly Friday schedule as the Music Bank MC alongside Bogum. Many of the viewers ship both Irene and Bogum together for their looks and chemistry together. She has also caught both the public's and entertainment industry's attention for her beauty. Many male celebrities have tried to hit on Irene, however all their efforts gone to waste as Irene was never interested in love right now, and she has to keep a promise with him. Overall, 2015 has been a busy and tiring year for Irene, yet it was still a fruitful year as the results were great. As for Winner, it has been a quiet year for them. Few concerts & fan meetings around Japan and they went on hiatus. Each 5 members decided to pursue for their solo careers, mainly in the acting industry. Winner's popularity certainly faded slightly during this hiatus period, perhaps, is this the end of Winner's glorious days? Not for Mino, though, if you think 2014 was Winner's year, then you could say that 2015 is Mino's year. With an appearance in the controversial survival show "Show Me The Money 4", Mino has proved to the public that he is an exceptional rapper by getting runner-up in the competition. Songs like "Turtle Ship" and "Fear" topped numerous music charts in Korea, not to mention "Fear" is one of the best selling digital songs in 2015. However, this is only the surface. In reality, Mino gone through a tough time during the filming of SMTM4, the pressure exerted by the public, burden by Yang-sajangnim and controversies he got into definitely made it dreadful during that period. He wishes that she was there for him when things were messy, however she was nowhere to be found.

It seems like everything in both of their careers progressed except their relationship. Ever since that day, Mino and Irene have cut ties with one another. No more daily texts, no more late night calls, no more comforting words, nothing, basically strangers since then. However, they both still monitor one another's activities, without them noticing. Although Irene is not into rapping, she would always watch clips online regarding Mino's performances on SMTM4. In fact, Irene teared up slightly when she first heard "Fear" because she felt bad that she could not be there for him. On the other hand, Mino would watch Red Velvet's performances and he would always be mesmerised by Irene's beauty. However, he gets really salty every Friday due to BoRene's MC-ing on television. Furthermore, Mino has grown to be a Wendy fan too! He is really impressed by her vocals and hopes to be given the opportunity to work with her in the future.

'Joohyun-unnie, I heard Winner is attending today too' Seulgi says as the makeup artist works on Seulgi's makeup

'Yeah... I heard too' Irene says while resting with her eyes closed

'Are you alright?' Seulgi asks out of concern

'Pfft, of course, is that even a question?' Irene scoffs

In reality, Irene is scared as heck. It has been 11 months since she last met him face to face, and many thoughts are swirling through Irene's mind

Irene's POV

'Oh my gosh... What should I do? Should I just talk to him? Or nah? OMG I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!' Irene freaks out in her mind

3rd Person's POV

'Unnie-deulll~~~, guess who we bumped into?!!?!!?!!?' Yeri squeals as she comes into the waiting room with Wendy and Joy

'Dugu?' Seulgi asks and Irene looks at them with a questioning face

'Winner-oppadeulll~~~~' Yeri says excitedly

Seulgi eyes slightly at Irene

'Aigooo, woori Yerimie finally met her idols? Are you that happy?' Irene says with a bright smile

'Hehehehehe~~' Yeri giggles

The remaining members laugh at their maknae

'Oh right.... isn't Joohyun-unnie close with Mino-sshi? Aren't you gonna say hi to him?' Wendy asks

Right, Irene only told Seulgi about her situation

'Ye...yeah! We agreed to meet up la..later' Irene stutters slightly, stunned upon Wendy's sudden question

'Awwww.... you must be happyy~~~' Wendy and Joy tease Irene at the same time

'Ha..ha... ha... aniyaa' Irene laughs embarrassingly

Preparation for the award show went on smoothly for the girls

'I'm going to the toilet' Irene says while she gets out of the waiting room

'Nehhh' The girls say in unison

'Annyeonghaseyo, annyeonghaseyo' Irene bows to some of the other idols she bumped into along the way to the toilet

Just then, she passes by another waiting room

'Winner....' Irene mumbles under her breath and stops walking

Right now, lots of thoughts are passing by Irene's mind, whether she should look for Mino, or not

'Sigh......' Irene sighs and walks away from the waiting room

Just then, she sees a familiar body frame standing not far from her, wearing a suit

She stands stagnant on her spot as that frame walks nearer to her

As expected, that person is none other than Mino

Again, many thoughts are haunting Irene again

'Annyeonghaseyo' Mino bows slightly to Irene

Irene replies with a slight bow

However, Mino does not stop walking, and eventually walks past Irene

'Minho-ah...' Irene says

Irene's POV

'Should I? Should I not? Argh whatever, its now or never Joohyun!!

3rd Person's POV

Mino finally stops walking

'Let's tal----'

'Not now, Irene-sshi'

Mino cuts Irene off and walks away coolly

'...' Irene is left speechless on the spot

Somehow, the person she once used to like, does not feel like that person anymore.
