A girl in her teens reaches out for her sister, Irene's phone

Joo Ah, Irene's younger sister gasps for a second before answering the phone

'Yeobeseyeongg?' Joo Ah says with a slight aegyo tone

'Err.... Is Joohyun ---I mean Irene-sunbaenim there?'

'Oppaa, why are you calling unnie "Sunbaenim"?'

'Errr, because she made her debut earlier than me?'

'Ehhh? Isn't this Shinee's Choi Minho oppa?'

'Nehh???' Mino sounds a little flustered

'Who is on the line?'

'Son--'

Before Mino could answer that question, Irene snatches her phone back while glaring at her sister

'Yeoboseyeo?' Irene says as she dries her hair with a towel

'Yeobeseyeo?' Mino says back, carefully this time

'Oh Minho! I apologise about my sister' Irene explains the situation while entering her room

'Yea, she mistook you as Choi Minho'

'Hahahaha, at least I was mistaken for someone handsome'

'Waee? You're not bad as well' Then, Irene realises what she said

'Right? I'm quite goo--'

'Okay I get it, why did you call anyway?'

'Just wanted to say I watched your performance at M! Countdown earlier'

'Ah jinjja? Was it okay? I think I could have done better' Irene sulks on her bed

'Eiii, you did well! I couldn't took my eyes off you!!'

'Really...?'

Mino learnt that Irene is very insecure of herself, and she would ask the people around her whether she has done well or not. 

'Yea, I swear that Red Velvet isn't any other rookie performer'

'Glad to hear that... just hoping that the fans think that way too'

'Yahh, I'm your fan too!'

'Jinjja? Awwww..heheheh' Irene blushes

'Nahh I lied, Wendy-sshi is my favourite'

'Yahhhh!!' Irene says while throwing her teddy bear, as if it was Mino

Just then, someone opens the door, disrupting their  "moment", well, not so

'Hyun-ah'

'Oh Omma?'

'I ordered some late night snacks, come on out and have some'

'What should I do? I'm keeping my weight in check recently' Irene pouts while patting her stomach

'Eiii What are you saying, my daughter will be pretty even if she gains weight!'

'Even so, I can't omma... It's the company's order'

'What kind bullcrap is that? Hyun-ah, you should have gone to YG instead... I heard that they aren't that strict in terms of looks'

Irene laughs awkwardly at her mother's statement

'Come out if you change your mind'

'Nehh omma'

Irene's mother left the room, just then, she remembers that she was on the phone

'Omomomo... Sary I frogot' Irene says in her strong Daegu dialect (Sorry I forgot)

'Wahh, you're great, like do you have a button?'

'Whut??' (What?)

'I mean like you were just speaking to me in Seoul dialect, then you immediately speak Daegu dialect with your mother'

Irene notices that she was still in Daegu mode and immediately 'switches" to Seoul mode

'You understood what I said earlier?' Irene asks curiously

'Not really, I get a bit though'

'Wahh, where are you from? No one usually understands what I say in my satoori'

'My home? Seoul City yo!'

Irene learnt that Mino is very proud to be a Seoul City boy

'Wahh, I'm jealous..' Irene says with envy

'Yahh, why are you jealous? I find girls who speaks in satoori really cute though, like you'

Irene blushes again, this time reclaiming her teddy bear and hugs it tightly

'And, go have some of your mother's snacks! You're skinny as heck'

'But I've been told by my co-'

'Aish always company company company.... Just eat some, it wouldn't hurt you anyways... Aish, SM always screwing with peoples' life'

'Huh?'

'Ahh it's nothing... just go have some, you will look prettier with some fats!'

'Finee.. I'll hang up first'

'Right right, goodnight~!'

'Nights~' Irene says sweetly

'Hyun-ah, what made you change your mind?' Mrs Bae looks at her eldest daughter munching on the delicious snacks

'Mhm? I was planning to have some' Irene says in a rather cheerful tone. Mrs Bae gives her the weird eye

'Unnie! Minho oppa asked you to, right!' JooAh says excitedly

'Aish it wasn't Choi Minho'

'Then?'

'Another Minho'

'It cannot be... Song right? Song Minho'

Irene smiles sweetly upon hearing his name

Another short update! So apparently Irene is beginning to show signs of having a crush on Mino... what about Mino? Does he genuinely like our Joohyun or she's just "another friend"?

I heard that Red Velvet is gonna be part of SM's new Christmas project?? Hopefully it's a good one!
