'Oh my god, I'll be partners with Irene?!?!?!?!?!?!'

3rd Person's POV

Mino was in his "little" thoughts, until his phone rang

'Yeoboseyeo?' Mino says while looking around his waiting room

'Hugeboy oppa!!!!!' A girl says on the other side of the line

'Oh, Seulgi-ya!!!' Mino says excitingly

'It's been so long since we last met right, oppa?'

'Yeah, since I left'

Flashback to years ago

Mino was dubbed as one of the best word player in the underground rapping scene. When he first came into that industry, everyone was underestimating him due the fact that he was still a high schooler. Despite of that, he broke those stereotypes (Along side Zico & his crew) and gained quite some popularity underground, with the name "Hugeboy". An artist at day (He loves drawing), and a rapper at night. Interesting, huh?

As for Seulgi, she has been training under SM Entertainment  since year 2007. So, she was actually living quite a strict life as a trainee, and rarely procrasinates. One fine day, the company decided to give her a day off, since she has been training for quite a period of time. During that off day, Seulgi spent it with her school friends. One of her friends heard of this "Hugeboy" dude and suggested them to watch him that night. Despite of rejecting that idea, Seulgi ended up getting dragged into the underground scene.

Seulgi's POV

'Ish, what's the buzz with this "Hugeboy" dude, I'm pretty sure he's just an average guy who speaks real quick'

3rd Person's POV

Yeah, during that time Seulgi was quite ignorant about rapping, and finds nothing fascinating about it. According to her, rapping is just "speaking really quick". But guess what, our Hugeboy totally changed her point of view. She was throughly impressed with his flow, rhythm, word plays (Though it was not fully refined by then), she became an instant fan and began to attend Hugeboy's performance whenever she had free time. For some reason, she got his number and they texted on a regular basis. And honestly, Seulgi admits that she had a "small" crush on him

Then one day, when she was about to enter the place Hugeboy usually performs, the owner of the place told her that Mino will no longer perform, there at least. Seulgi realises that Mino has not replied her message that day yet, and thus she quickly dialed his number

*Toot* *Toot* Yahh oppa.... what are you doing

*Toot* *toot* Please answer, oppa!!

*Toot* *Toot* ......

And, that was how Mino and Seulgi lost contact

*End of Flashback*

'Ya know oppa, I'm still pissed at you!!!'

'Yahh, what a pleasant thing to hear from my dongsaeng after years'

'Hmphh!!' Seulgi acts angry

'Aish, I'm sorry, Seulgi-ya,'

'If you're really sorry, can you do a favor for me?'

'Mhm?'

'It's about your partner for later, oppa'

'Erm, Ir..Irene-sshi?'

'Yes, it's about Joo-hyun unnie. You see, unnie is very shy and bashful around strangers, especially like you--'

'Yahh what's wrong with me?!'

'You're ugly!!!!' Seulgi vents her anger from the past

'Yahh!'

'Joking! By the way, I just hope that you will make her feel comfortable, you know what I mean?'

'Ahh, you mean like try and liven the mood between Irene-sshi and I?'

'Sort of'

'But I've one condition'

'Yah, this is a repaying favor for ditching me!'

'It's a simple favor, be my sidekick'

'Huhh?'

'I wanna know Irene-sshi personally, so help meeee'

'Ahhh, you like her?' Seulgi is quick to catch on the situation

'Ani!!!! It's just, just she's pretty!' Mino overreacts

And there, a deal was made

The moment Mino saw Irene for the first time in his life, he cannot help but fall head over heels for her. As Mino greets, he slightly glances at Seulgi, who happens to be doing the same

'Psst, remember our deal?'

'Obviously, oppa' 

They talked through telepathic powers. And thus, Mino began his small "plan". Seulgi told a bit about her Leader's personality, which helped Mino to adjust his approach towards Irene. Before Red Velvet gets on the stage, Mino could feel Irene's nervousness from behind, for some reason.. Seulgi turns her head around and eyed Mino, 

'Do something! Calm her down!!'

Mino immediately got the message and stepped up instantly. He walked up to Irene before giving her the reassuring smile, totally MINO style.

As Red Velvet was about to leave, Seulgi secretly texted Mino, as the "MinoxIrene" project sidekick.

'Uhh, Seungyoon-ahh, I errr I nee..needa use to wash room for a sec' Mino says while his team is also preparing to leave

'Right, be back quickly! We still ha-'

'Be right back!' Mino dashes out of the waiting room, to his "washroom"

'Irene-sshi!'

Irene and her members turn around, then Seulgi quickly drag the other members out, leaving the 2 awkward people

Mino's POV

'Okay Hugeboy, it's now or never, don't bust it!'

3rd person's POV

'Can I have your phone number?' Eventually, Mino busts

'Ne..nehh??' Irene is a little taken back

'Errrrr, I mean goo...goodluck!' 

Irene eyes him weirdly

Mino's POV

'Oh my god Hugeboy, you're such a pabo!!!!'

3rd Person's POV

'For...?' Irene says hesitantly

'Erm, I believe that we will not be seeing each other that often? So err, just wanna say goodluck for your future activities, and err, it was fun, while it lasted, our ..err our colla--'

'I get what you mean, it was fun for me too, I really enjoyed working with you, I hope that we could collab in the near future! Thanks for the good luck, I believe Winner will be successful too' Irene says with a thumbs up and smiling widely

'Uh huh....' Mino's brain froze, Irene chuckles

'See you around, Mino-sshi' Irene says before turning and heads towards the exit, leaving Mino at his spots

'Arghhhhh!!!' Mino groans silently in his mind

Mino's POV

'ARGHHHH WHY DID I SCREW UP!!!!!'

Irene's POV

'Pabo.....'

Wassup, second chappie.. Turns out Seulgi and Mino had known each other for a long time, and they have "planned" a big project ahead huhh
