“I bet you’ve heard everything from Wonwoo.” he stated.

He wrapped his arms tighter on me then inhaled deeply, seems like he’s getting ready to tell

me the whole thing.

 

“The culprit was Hana, and I apologized on behalf for that. I thought she already changed but

she’s still Hana who needs her damn friend.”

“It’s okay, Roma wasn’t built in a day anyway.”

He kissed the top of my head, “Thank you.”

I nodded, “Then what happened to you for the whole two weeks?”

“My Mom found out that Hana and I were fighting over this thing so she punished both of us.

But I kept telling her to tell the whole school that she’s the one who took the photo and apologize

to you.”

“But she doesn’t want to - and you got into trouble for it; because of me.”

“No, it’s not just because of you, Ahri. She has to learn, and that’s my way because I care.”

 

I know that he was suspended of school because of me; because he told the principal to not involve

me. I’m sure his family couldn’t do anything since Mingyu is Mingyu; he won’t stop until what he

got what he wanted.

 

And I’m one hundred percent sure that his family hates me now for ruining their one and only

son; and also their share at school and other company. Just if this news got viral and the reporter

knew, they would definitely bring back their late dad’s scandal - and it will hurts their family so

punishment and back to school already. I was holding my bread since I was late, but then seeing him

at what I did, still we enjoyed our way to school.

He smiled, “I know.”

“are you going to use you power to avoid the punishment?”

“I’d rather be punished with you, now or never.”

The teacher gave us a punishment to run on the field for seven laps, but we accepted it happily since

we are going to do it together anyway. I’ve never been this thick-skinned for the whole of my life, but

Everyone in the class still looking at me like I’m such a dirty trash, but still, everything that happened

since the morning made me think about nothing but Mingy. That kid really got me.

 

When the bell finally rang, I quickly ran to the rooftop, hoping to see Mingyu as quick as possible. I don’t

know since when I became this excited?

 

He was standing at the usual spot and I hugged him from behind, he turned back then captured my lips.

And he just replied with a grin. We ordered a super spicy, spicy rice cake. And we both can’t even finish

half of it. He is so cute with sweats all over his face, and with that super red lips.

 

“Did you put on red lipstick?”

He laughed, “ this spicy thing, I will never eat this again forever.”

 

Since Mingyu still have some punishment, he couldn’t go straight home after the class ended but he has to

clean his class before. And I waited for him patiently until he finished everything.

 

The school is already empty since most of the student are gone already. I really enjoyed even if I had to walk

in darkness with him like this. As long as I’m with Mingyu, then I would always be happy no matter what

happened to me.

 

Mingyu was taking his things on the locker and waited beside him, talking nonsense like it’s really unusual

for me. But I really excited for nothing today that I started talking a lot.

 

“I didn’t know that school is this fun.”

He closed the locker, pinned me to the wall with his arms. “I didn’t know either.”

 

Then he bent down, tilting his head to reach my lips. His lips moved in sync with mine and my hands played

with his hair. I moved my body closer to his, but he pushed me to the wall so I could lean on it.

I really waited for the night to come, but suddenly a nightmare happened. Seems like my parents and

also my brother already knew about this runaway so they waited for me in the first floor.

 

They’re all looking at me suspiciously, and told me to put down all my belongings. “Sit down.” my Dad

said, and I automatically sitting down on the sofa.

I can’t look straight at them because I was too embarrassed.

“You’re going to transfer school. And break up with Mingyu, it’s for the best.” Then my Mom followed my

Dad to the room.

 

And I’m crying, I can’t believe all of this happened. I really don’t want to part ways with Mingyu, I really

don’t want to lose him.

 

“It’s for te best, Ahri. If Mingyu’s family didn’t found out about this runaway, I can’t even imagine what

will happens to you.” My brother tried to soothed me.

“But you know that Mingyu’s a nice guy!”

“I know, but he’s still a young boy, and you’re still a young girl. Both of you has a long way to go, don’t

break everything so early with your impatient like this, Ahri.”

“What do I do now, Oppa.” still sobbing, and my brother quickly pulled me into a hug.

“Listen to Mom and do what you have to do. If he’s really for you, then he will be with you in so many

ways.”

School gave me a week to stay in this school before Mingyu and I have to transfer, but something is

bothering me so much; Mingyu’s gone early, and also Hana. Seems like their family wants them to

transfer school as quick as possible.

 

Without farewell, without any words, he’s gone. And Mingyu’s gone for real. He will not be back like

what he did before. I heard from a lot of people that the siblings was transferred to Japan. It’s really

far, far away from here.

 

And people still talking crap about me even when Hana’s already gone; and it’s getting worse. Because

they already know everything now. They mocked me because Mingyu left me alone without words.

It hurts me, a lot.

 

But Wonwoo’s still with me whenever I don’t have anyone to lean on.

 

“When are you going to transfer?”

“In two days.” I said.

“To Anyang?”

 

I nodded.

 

“How’s your last days at school up until now?”

I smirked, “I can’t really feel anything. But I really can’t describe on how much I owe you my life. Because

you’re always by my side when I only approach you whenever I have nobody.”

“Can I go visit you and your grandmother in the future?”

“Of course! I’d love to.”

 

Wonwoo still looked at me and also smiling. This might be our farewell, our last time to meet at school. And

remembering on how much I spent my time with Wonwoo before I met Mingyu, I really can’t forget it. The

cafeteria, the class, the rooftop; I really don’t want to leave this school.

 

“Ahri,” he called, “Do you remember when we were still dating? You were too scared to lunch with me because

people would talk crap about you. But now, you are brave enough to slap Hana. Mingyu really did a good job.”

“It’s not jst him, you also played a big role, you know?”

“Me?”

I nodded, “You always saved me whenever they started to circling around me, you always said something nice

to me so I would not be stress, and you also threw away my pills. If you’re not with me, I don’t know if I could

Tears suddenly rolled down to my cheek, “Please be happy, be healthy, love someone who’s better than me,

eat well, study well, don’t cause a problem, don’t -”

Wonwoo hugged me tightly, and I cried on his arms. “I know, Ahri. Please be happy, please, I’m begging you.”

And still no further news about Mingyu even when I’m going to leave Seoul. What are you doing,

Kim Mingyu? Are you going to come back to me? When we grow up, remember? Are you going to throw
