I’m glad that Wonwoo didn’t let me go while I cried since I really don’t want to show him my tears

anymore; but I couldn’t even do anything. His hand kept  my back and my hair, calming me

down. One thing that I really love about Wonwoo is he is really loyal, even though I already did bad to him.

I really hate myself for leaving Wonwoo and making him hurt, but what can I do? My brain can’t even

control my heart, everything is uncontrolled and I really hate it. Well, it doesn’t mean that I hate my

heart for choosing Mingyu, I just hate the whole situation that made me break other people’s heart. Just that.

“Mingyu will be back, he is just.. doing something right now.”

I nodded, “I know, he will be back. I believe in him.”

And it’s weird to say that in front of Wonwoo, while being hugged by him, when I already know that he’s

still into me. One thing that I really want is, please, don’t break Wonwoo’s heart again; ever.

He looked at my face, wiping the tears on my cheek, then he pulled my lips so it formed a smile. “Smile,

Ahri. Why do you keep crying?” he said.

“I don’t know, the tears kept coming out.”

Then Wonwoo held my hand like what he used to do back then, walking hand in hand like he’s protecting

me when the whole school kept glancing at us. This is going to be worse than before, but my mind couldn’t

think of anything but Mingyu.

This heart kept beating so fast like it’s worried about Mingyu so much. And I realized that today Hana is also

gone? But she’s just fine these days with her old friends though? What happened to this family actually?

I don’t have my pills anymore since Wonwoo threw it away, and that’s mean I really have to survive by myself

now since I can’t lean on Wonwoo forever; or even Mingyu since he’s gone now.

“Stop crying and eat something, Ahri. The food is going to get cold.” he said, still smiling. Is it just me or

Wonwoo is really putting a lot of effort to calm me down?

I nodded, “Thank you, Wonwoo.”

“I hope someone will pay me everytime you say thank you and sorry to me. I would be rich in no times.”

he spooned the rice, “eat.” then he feed me.

I can’t even swallow properly since I held my tears, “Thank you, Wonwoo. You also need to eat.”

“I already full, it’s nice to watch you eat. It’s been a long time, right?”

“I know that your intention was not just to watch me eat, say it, Wonwoo. Where is Mingyu?”

Of course I know it all. Wonwoo can’t even lie, why would he even try to lie at me, huh? Since the first time

he talked about Mingyu, I know that he’s hiding something and holding this urge to let me know.

“Okay, I won’t ask that. But, is he okay? Is he healthy? I won’t ask where he is, I just want to know is he safe

and sound now?”

He nodded, “He is.. Okay.”

“Just okay?”

“Listen to me, Ahri. I’m not supposed to spill this to you, but I really can’t live to see you cry in front of me.

Mingyu was at his home the last time I met him, and he was in a fight with Hana, that’s why he’s forbidden

to go out now.”

“Hana? What happened to them?”

Wonwoo took a really deep breath before continue, “The one who took the photo of you and Mingyu was Hana,

Mingyu found out and they got into a fight. Mingyu didn’t do anything to Hana, but still, Hana cried a lot. She

said that she wanted her friends back so she did it. Because her friends hates you, and that’s the only thing

Hana could do at that time.”

Oh God, I can’t believe this. “And then?”

“Nobody at home knows about that, but Mingyu forced Hana to apologize to you everyday and they also argued

every time they met. Everyone finally found out that there’s something wrong between Mingyu and Hana. Hana

told Mingyu that if he spread this to the whole school then she would do anything to make you suffer. Mingyu

didn’t want to give up but he ended up being scolded by his guardian and his Mom because Mingyu doesn’t even

want to protect their family’s name but you.”

“What happened to Hana?”

“She did get the punishment for spreading the photo, but she could easily get away from it meanwhile Mingyu got

locked and can’t even attend school.”

“But that’s unfair! Mingyu is the victim!”

“That’s what he said, sometimes being the step-son is not that nice. Especially when your step sister is extremely

selfish like Hana.”

I don’t know if I should be glad or sad after hearing the news from Wonwoo, because all this mess happened

because of me. But something that really made me glad was Mingyu is safe and sound with his family, even

though he still couldn’t attend school.

Their family is hella confusing, I can’t understand what happened inside and their high pride of reputation; even

Mingyu who would volunteer to be punched by a gang of bastards so they wouldn’t talk  about his Dad and

his family.

And Hana, who would do anything so her high class friend will be back to her. And their older sister who forced

herself to be a flight attendant when she often homesick, have to postpone her marriage, and the most important

thing is she’s afraid of height. She does it because she doesn’t want people to keep saying that she’s just a useless

oldest daughter of the family who has lots of money. And their Mom who kept working her  on the company so

people won’t talk  about all the money she got after her husband’s death.

I know that I’m not that different to that family, but, is people’s mind more important than our heart? I’m sick of it.

I really want to runaway. I really hate those judgmental people. But what can I do? They even got me a trauma that

I can’t even rid of.

I like people who understood. The type who are not quick to judge. Because they don’t believe rumors because

they know there are two sides to every story. They give you a chance before they judge. They get to know who

you really are, then have an opinion. But where can I meet that kind of people?

It’s 2 a.m. and still raining heavily here; and I still can’t sleep. Just looking to the pouring rain outside the window,

hugging myself with my over sized sweater. And I still miss him.

Mingu: I know it’s late

Mingu: But I’m outside your house

Mingu: With my umbrella

Mingu: I’m sorry, but I really miss you

Mingu: It’s okay if you’re already asleep, or just simply doesn’t want to meet me

Mingu: Please wait for me for a little while

Mingu: I will be back... Soon...

And I really regretted it in the next day, because I fell asleep last night when he sent me the messages,

and Mingyu’s disappeared again today.
