“Here,” Hana threw the invitation to my desk. “Come to my birthday party tonight. Bring Wonwoo.”

The dress code is black and no one’s allowed to wear pink since it’s her day and Hana is the only

one who’s supposed to wear pink. And something really caught my eyes; when her friends said that

there will be a big surprise tonight for Hana.

Hana just laughed with them but they really made me suspicious, what if the surprise is not like what

Hana expected? No. Her friends won’t be heartless like that. I really have to erase this negative mind.

“Hana’s birthday? Of course I will come with you.” Wonwoo said excitedly since it would be our first

party together. He doesn’t look like he already talked about something serious with Mingyu and it really

made me feel at ease.

“Is it okay? I thought you’re not close with her?”

“I’ve known her for years even though we are not close, Seulgi used to hang out with her back then.”

Oh . Seulgi. He accidentally said her name in front of me for the first time and from what I saw, he really

regretted it. So, his ex know Hana and is that mean Seulgi will be there tonight? Wow, the world is not as

big as I expected though.

“Of course I know, she planned this birthday from long time ago.”

We are now in the rooftop, the place that will always be our favorite. He gave me strawberry milk and cheese

cream bread directly now, and it felt good!

“Are you coming?”

“No. Why would I? She doesn’t even invite me.”

I looked at the sky above us while leaning my body on his, “But I have a feeling that something bad will happens

tonight. Her friends looks like they have a big plan.”

“I don’t care. It’s you who have to be careful since Seulgi will definitely come, don’t let Wonwoo land his eyes

on her.”

“I know.”

Seems like Hana invited almost the whole school to her birthday party because this place is full of familiar faces.

It’s like she moved the school to this club. But still, Mingyu is nowhere to be found. Is he really serious?

Wonwoo dragged me here and there to introduce me to his friends and I also found out that Wonwoo has more

friends more than I know? Since he always spend his time at school with me.

But then he stopped talking to his friends when someone walked in. She’s the girl who we met at the cinema back

then. Yes, she is Seulgi. I know Wonwoo wouldn’t just let her off and it hurts me?

They smiled to each other but didn’t say anything and Seulgi just left like that. She’s really pretty and gentle, just

like Wonwoo. I’m curious why would Wonwoo date a girl like after he broke up with that almost perfect girl named

Seulgi?

“Is that Seulgi?”

“Yes.” he answered shortly, and I don’t want to ask him about Seulgi anymore since he always sulk after that. It’s

not about his feeling towards her, but I have to understand that you can’t just erase the memory of being with the one

that you loved like that. It’s normal though, we are teenager.

“I want to go to the toilet.”

“Okay, I will wait here.”

As I walked to the toilet, Hana’s friends seems to be preparing their big surprise for Hana behind the stage. Just where

on earth is Kim Mingyu? If something happened with Hana, there’s no one who could protect her except Mingyu.

But suddenly Jooyoung appeared in front on my way and dragged me to the edge of the corridor. Oh , what is he

going to do?

“Hey, brave girl.” he said while grabbing my nape and my shoulder. “Where’s your Mingyu?”

“Let me go! What are you going to do?”

“Hey, you can two timing with both Mingyu and Wonwoo, adding time for me to  you won’t hurt, right?”

I slapped his cheek and pushed his body, trying to run away. But he tripped my feet, making me fell to the floor. Then

he hovered on top of me and tilted his head, trying to kiss me.

“Why are you avoiding me? Just kiss me like you kissed Wonwoo and Mingyu.”

I really tried to push him but that sentences really made my whole body weak.

“Out there, Hana’s friend will reveal to the whole school about her biggest secret. And where’s Mingyu? Oh, he will rescue

his beloved step sister right away, but my friends will stop him and make sure he can’t walk tomorrow. Do you know

what’s funny? Those powerful sibling won’t be as powerful as before. Invest? Invest my ! They invested the school

with corrupted money that their Dad made before die.”

They really planned this all. Both Mingyu and Hana are really in danger now.

Jooyoung grabbed my nape and tilted his head until our lips almost touched with each other. “Your beloved Mingyu is

just two blocks away from here, do you want to save him? Go. I won’t tell your another boyfriend.”

His lips touched mine and I couldn’t do anything, but then I heard punching sound. Wonwoo saved me, again, as he

kept punching Jooyoung. My mind was really a mess because there are too many things happened at one, they really

planned this well.

Hana’s friend is revealing about the truth, Wonwoo is fighting with Jooyoung, and Mingyu.., he is fighting with the gang

out there. No. I have to save him.

I ran out of the building and tried to find Mingyu as tears rolled out to my cheek. No, he has to be okay. It’s not fair if the

gang fought with him since he always be alone.

I’m late, the gang already beat Mingyu and they left them there. He couldn’t even move his body and just fell on the

cold ground. And what’s worse is it’s suddenly raining heavily.

I hugged him, trying to save him but this guy is really heavy. While crying, I tried to walk him to warmer place but I

also don’t have anymore energy after being wasted with Jooyoung just now.

“Mingyu, you are okay, Mingyu. Hang in there.”

My dress once again was full with his blood and I don’t even care. I have to save him but the only one I could call

is Wonwoo. There’s nothing I could do anymore, I have to call Wonwoo.

“Ahri where are you? This place became a mess and you are gone!” he sounded worried, of course.

“I’m in the gas station near the building, can you come with a taxi? Mingyu.., Mingyu.., they beat Mingyu up.”

“I’m on my way! Stay in a crowded place, got it?”

I wiped the blood from all over his face wih my own hand, and thinking on how his life is more difficult than me. I don’t

know that people are already know the secret but they just waited for the right time to reveal everything. And all this

 are so well planned; on how they took care about Hana and Mingyu.

“Hang in there, Mingyu. Wonwoo is almost here.”

He was really cold even when I hugged him. His head on my chest and I kept hugging him tightly so he wouldn’t feel

any colder, and I kept praying to God to save him and also Hana. I hope I could clone my self so I also could be there

to save Hana.

We took Mingyu to the hospital, and we waited as he’s being treated in the emergency. I know this is not the first

time he fought and being treated in the emergency, but still, no matter on how many times he fought, it’s still hurt me.

“He is okay, you can meet him now.” said the doctor, and both Wonwoo and I rushed to the room.

“What about Hana? Is she okay?” Was the first question he asked after woke up. He must be worried about Hana to

death as he was in fight with the gang.

“Seulgi took her out of the place.” Wonwoo answered. “If there’s no Seulgi then I don’t know what will happens with

Hana. They really planned this well.”

It was just a second after Wonwoo talked about Seulgi then both Seulgi and Hana arrived. Wonwoo must have told

Seulgi about where would he took Mingyu though.

They looked at each other as soon as Seulgi arrived and from what I saw, they really resembles each other. If

someone lied to me saying they’re just sibling, I will believe it for sure.

“Wonwoo, we need to talk.”

And without saying anything, Wonwoo just followed Seulgi to leave the room. And I’m here just looking at their

back with my aching heart. I felt a pair of hands were grabbing my hand, and when I looked at it, Mingyu suddenly

smiled at me.

“It’s okay.” he said.
