This TaeNy (girlxgirl) one-shot fan fiction was inspired from “Talk” song from Tiffany’s solo mini album, “I Just Wanna Dance”. It’s one of my favorite songs in this album actually, besides Taeyeon’s favorite song “Fool”. For overall, I like all her songs, and it’s really refreshing!

“RING! RING! RING!”

“Urghh! What the..”, Taeyeon groaned as she was startled with the phone rings early in the morning. It’s a Saturday morning to be exact, and she usually will waking up late during weekend as she wanted to have a good rest after working like an until late night as an architect five days in a week. Reluctantly, she got up while resting her back at the headboard, and lazily grabbed her cell phone from the side table.

“What?”, she answered the call with an annoyed tone. Taeyeon really felt annoyed when someone disturbing her precious time, especially during weekend.

“Woahh.. You should greet me with a ‘good morning’ though!”, the familiar voice replied annoyingly.

“Good morning, giant, and what do you want early this morning, huh?”, she asked with a hoarse voice.

“Oh, come on Taengoo! It’s already 11:00 in the morning, and yet you’re still sleeping? You’re really pathetic, you know!”, Taeyeon’s “giant” best friend, her business partner and also her co-worker, Choi Sooyoung replied.

“I don’t bother your life all this while, right Choi? So, can you please don’t bother my precious weekend?”, Taeyeon snapped at her.

“Yah! Don’t try to ignore me, you midget! Don’t ask for my help to finish your drawing when you got tonnes of project meetings to attend later!”, Sooyoung snapped at her back as she started to feel annoyed with her ‘midget’ best friend’s words.

“Aishh.. You and your lame threat! Arasso, what is it that you want?”, Taeyeon said as she finally relented with her.

“Good. Alright, listen. My friend just open an exclusive club today in Gangnam, and she invited me to come as her guest, so, I want you to tag along and enjoy the night, and leave your pathetic life starting from today”, Sooyoung replied. Taeyeon let out a sigh.

“Soo, you know my life principle, right? I don’t like to go clubbing like you and your friends do. So, please, don’t bother about me, and thank you for the offer”, she said.

“Taengoo, please! I have never begging you ever since we knew each other in college! My friend said she invited Jessica Jung too, so, I want to grab this chance to get to know her. My friend said she’s interested in me, so please! Pretty please!”, Sooyoung begged her. After a long pause, Taeyeon let out a heavy sigh and started to speak.

“Alright, alright! You owe me big this time, Choi Sooyoung. Make sure you finish preparing the project proposal of Seoul Community Centre before I present it to their Board of Directors next week”, Taeyeon said firmly as she finally agreed.

“Yes ma’am! No big deal, ma’am! The proposal will be sent to you in no time before you know it”, Sooyoung replied enthusiastically, causing Taeyeon shook her head with her best friend’s silly antics.

“Alright, pick me up tonight. I’m too lazy to drive”, Taeyeon said.

“No problemo, mi amigo! I’ll hang up now, and will text you the time later. Bye, Taengoo!”, Sooyoung replied as the convo ended.

“Got it. Bye, giant!”, she said as the call ended. She tossed the cell phone back to the side table, and slumped her body back on the bed.

“Better it worth my precious time, Choi Sooyoung”, she mumbled before she drifted back to sleep.

Later on that night

“C’mon! Hop in!”, Sooyoung said after she lowered the window, and gestured Taeyeon to get in her Hummer.

“Which friend of yours?”, Taeyeon asked while putting her seatbelt.

“Do you still remember Lee Sunny?”, Sooyoung replied while driving her car.

“Ah, Sunny the Bunny? Your schoolmate?”, she asked again.

“Yup, yup! She just opened her club with her business partner slash her girlfriend, Hyomin. Tonight is the grand opening party of the club, and they invited several VIPs and international DJ to enliven the party”, Sooyoung replied as her eyes focusing on the road.

“I see”, Taeyeon nodded. Her eyes then scanning Sooyoung from head to toe. “Are you going to ride a bike at the party?”, she asked as she chuckled. Sooyoung wore a dark brown leather jacket with a white satin blouse inside, and black skinny jeans with a pair of red stilettos. She frowned while glancing at Taeyeon.

“Wae? Can’t I wear this?”, she asked as she lifted her right hand and pointing at her leather jacket.

“I thought Kim Hyoyeon is the fashion terrorist though. It turned out to be you”, she said as her ahjumma laughter bursting out. Kim Hyoyeon is their best friend at college too, but she’s working as a dance choreographer and owns a dancing academy. She has a girlfriend, Seo Juhyun who was working as a junior attorney in the most famous law firm in Seoul.

“Yah! That midget’s taste in fashion has got nothing to do with me. She’s even worst than me, ya know!”, she exclaimed annoyingly. Taeyeon giggled after hearing her words as she found it funny.

“Just lose the jacket, giant. It will look awkward if you put it on. Jessica might not interested to get close to you anymore. Your clubbing outfit is so weird”, she said casually causing Sooyoung hissed in annoyance.

“If I’m not thinking of you as my business partner, I probably will kick you out of my car, ya know”, Sooyoung said.

“Try it, and you will lost your chance to see Jessica Jung tonight”, Taeyeon replied sarcastically, causing Sooyoung groaned in frustration. They keep on chatting and arguing with each other as it were the nature of their conversation until they reached their destination.

“Choi Sooyoung and this is Kim Taeyeon”, Sooyoung said to the security guard who was asking for her and Taeyeon’s ID.

“Oh, welcome to the party, Miss Choi, Miss Kim!”, the security guard greeted, and stood aside to give a way to both of them to enter the main door of the club. Sunny has already instructed the security guards to check the guest names based on the list given to them.

“Thank you!”, both girls thanked him in unison, and quickly entering the club.

The sound of loud mixed club music played by the DJ welcoming them soon as they walked inside. Both of them agape while watching in awe the crowd of guests where some of them were dancing to the music at the dance hall. The crowd were gathered around a small island stage where the DJ has been placed with his turntables and other electronic equipments, and some just sitting on the tables provided at the second floor where the bar was located while enjoying their drinks. The colorful LED lightings illuminates the dark atmosphere of the club.

“Where is the Bunny?”, Sooyoung mumbled while keep on walking through the crowd. Taeyeon who was tagging from behind cupping her ears as she couldn’t cope with the loud music and the suffocating crowd. Sooyoung’s eyes wandered around the second floor, and finally she spotted Sunny’s table. “Follow me, Taengoo”, she shouted as she grab Taeyeon’s hand and pulled her closer to her. Taeyeon didn’t hear her voice as the music was too loud. She just complied as she doesn’t want to be left and lost from Sooyoung's track.

“Sooyoungie!”, Sunny greeted Sooyoung the moment she saw them approaching the table. She immediately stood up from her seat and walked towards the tall girl and pulled her into a hug.

“Hey, Sunny! Thank you for inviting me and my friend here”, Sooyoung said as she returned the hug.

“Don’t mention, Soo. It’s been a long time since our last meeting. I suddenly thought of you when I did my invitation list. And..”, Sunny leaned closer to her. “Jessica Jung is so eager to meet you. So, I think this is a good chance for you two to meet up”, she said. Sooyoung’s smile grew wider the moment Sunny mentioned Jessica’s name. She couldn’t wait to meet her dream girl.

Jessica is Sunny’s college friend, and she’s working as a fashion designer. She’s also the co-owner of the fashion boutique which she shared with her childhood friend whom she grew up together in LA.

“Oh, I forgot to introduce you to my friend here. Do you still remember Kim Taeyeon, my business partner which I told you before?”, Sooyoung said as she released the hug.

“Yeah, I still remember. Thank you for coming, Taeyeon ssi”, Sunny replied as she stretched her hand to shake hands with Taeyeon.

“Thank you for inviting me, Sunny ssi”, Taeyeon replied as they shook hands.

“Don’t mention, though. Sooyoungie’s friend is my friend too. Please have a seat, girls. I need to order drinks for you two. What would you like to have Soo, Taeyeon ssi?”, Sunny asked.

“Hmm.. do you have Cherry Bomb Shot?”, Sooyoung asked, causing Taeyeon raising her brows.

“What the hell is that?”, she asked. Sooyoung and Sunny just chuckled.

“It’s a mixed of vodka, red bull and grenadine, Taeyeon ssi. We have all types of drinks here, Soo. Okay, one Cherry Bomb Shot for you. What about you, Taeyeon ssi?”, Sunny replied. Sunny is also a professional bartender as she took a professional bartending course at Bartending School at Washington DC after graduated from college. That was where she met her girlfriend Hyomin, who was also a graduate from the same bartending school.

“Just call me Tae, Sunny ssi. Ermm.. I will just have Plain Porter”, she said with a smile.

“She likes English drinks because she’s a fans of Harry Potter movie series though”, Sooyoung said as she giggled, causing Taeyeon playfully showed her fist to her.

“Ah, I see. Sure will do, Tae. You two wait here, okay? And, Soo, Jessica texted me earlier and she said she will be here in any minute”, Sunny said as she winked at her before she walked towards the bar counter, causing the tall girl blushed profusely.

“Jessica is not here yet, but you’re blushing like an idiot”, Taeyeon said teasingly while laughing.

“Shut up, midget!”, she exclaimed annoyingly. Taeyeon stopped laughing and suddenly got up from her seat.

“Where are you going?”, Sooyoung asked while looking at her best friend.

“I want to pee. Do you have any idea on where the restroom is?”, Taeyeon replied while her eyes wandering around the club.

“This is my first time here, dude. How would I know though? Just ask Sunny at the bar counter there”, Sooyoung suggested.

“Alright. I’ll be back in a minute”, Taeyeon said while headed to the bar counter.

“Wow, Sunny really got a high taste when it comes to the interior design of this place, especially the restroom”, Taeyeon mumbled to herself while walking through the alley to the restroom, admiring every details of the building’s design. She was about to continue her walk when suddenly she got bumped into someone.

“THUD!”

“OUCH!”

“Urghh.. s-sorry!”, the person she got bumped into apologized. Both of them fell down on the floor.

“Yah! Come back here, you !”, she suddenly heard a gruff voice yelling from the right alley of the men’s restroom. Taeyeon was shocked while watching a guy holding his left eye while running towards the person she got bumped into just now.

“Woo.. woo.. What’s happening here?”, Taeyeon asked as she quickly got up from the floor and stood in the middle of the alley, trying to stop that guy from chasing the girl. The girl was still on the floor, and slowly tried to get up.

“Get out of my way, you midget! That tried to hurt me. She deserves to be ed by me.. Hahahaha…”, the guy harshly said as he laughed, causing Taeyeon pissed with his harsh and dirty words. He was in a drunken state.

“Stop right now, or I will call the security. My friend is the owner of the club, you know”, Taeyeon replied in a stern voice.

“Shut up! Or, you want me to you too, huh? Come here, ! Hahahaha…”, the guy said. Taeyeon was fuming mad at the moment, but she tried to hold it as she doesn’t want to create any unwanted situation there.

“Take back your words right now, or you will feel sorry later”, she said calmly. The guy didn’t bother much as he keeps on laughing.

“You should feel sorry because I want to you right now”, he replied with a dirty smirk. Taeyeon gritted her teeth as she started to feel annoyed and disgust with his antics.

“Well, you leave me with no choice then. Take this!”, Taeyeon said as she lifted her right leg like in a taekwondo position, and kicked with all her might toward the guy’s crotch.

“Arghhh…”, he cried in pain while holding his crotch. He fell down on the floor due to the unbearable pain he was experiencing.

“Serves you right. I’m going to call the security and they will kick your out of here”, Taeyeon said as she smirked. She then turned around to look at the girl who was trembling in fear while hugging herself.

“Are you alright, Miss?”, she asked the girl.

“Y-yes. T-thank you, Miss…”, she paused.

“I’m Kim Taeyeon. Don’t worry, okay? I will ask my friend to kick this scumbag out of this club. It’s just that I want to know what happened actually?”, Taeyeon asked. She then gestured the girl to start walking and both of them immediately left the restrooms area.

“I-I was about to go to the restroom when suddenly that guy appeared out of nowhere and dragged me to the men’s restroom. There’s no one here at that time, but I managed to hurt his eye through the struggle to escape before I got bumped into you”, she said.

“That scumbag! Who does he think he is, huh? He think he got balls, he can easily hurt any woman he wants? He was unlucky to meet the wrong person though”, Taeyeon said in irritated tone.

“Thank you, anyway. I’m Tiffany Hwang”, she said as she smiled.

“Nice to meet you, Tiffany ssi, although we met in a very uncomfortable circumstances just now”, Taeyeon said, causing the other girl chuckled on her words.

“Glad that you were there, Taeyeon ssi. Otherwise I don’t know what will happen to me. I just arrived few minutes ago to meet my friend here. We got the invitation from the club owner too. We supposed to come together, but something came up at our workplace in a very last minute, so she asked me to go first”, Tiffany replied.

“I see. I came here with my friend too. Sunny ssi was her best friend and her schoolmate”, Taeyeon said.

“Chincha? Sunny was our best friend too. We graduated from the same college with her”, Tiffany replied.

“Wow! What a coincidence, huh?”, Taeyeon said as she smiled. “Our table is over there”, she said while pointing at the table where she saw Sooyoung was sitting while talking with the blonde haired girl. “Where’s Sunny?”, she mumbled.

“Hey, that’s my friend! Hi, Jessi!”, Tiffany shouted calling for the blonde haired girl. She turned at her back and immediately got up from her seat and walked toward Tiffany.

“Hey, Tiff! Where have you been? I tried to call you many times, but all calls goes into the voicemail”, she replied while giving a hug to Tiffany.

“It’s a long story, Jessi. I will tell you later. I met a new friend earlier..”, Tiffany said as she turned to her back, but was surprised when she couldn’t find Taeyeon. “Where’s she?”, she mumbled.

“Where’s your new friend?”, Jessica asked while glancing at Tiffany’s back.

“She’s here earlier, but I don’t know where did she go”, Tiffany replied as she looked puzzled.

“Maybe she has gone elsewhere. Anyway Tiff, this is Choi Sooyoung, the friend that I have told you last time. Sooyoung, this is Tiffany Hwang, my best friend slash my business partner”, Jessica introduced her to Sooyoung. Sooyoung quickly got up from her seat and bowed.

“Hi, I’m Choi Sooyoung!”, she introduced herself while extended her hand to shake hands with Tiffany.

“Hi, Sooyoung ssi! Nice to meet you. I’m Tiffany Hwang, and you know who, right?”, Tiffany replied and shook hands with the latter.

“Yup, Jessica told me about you just now. Nice to meet you too, Tiffany ssi”, Sooyoung said. “Please have a seat first. Sunny said she will come back in a minute”, Sooyoung invited both girls to take their respective seats. She then shifted her gaze at the bar where Sunny went to earlier, but she only saw Hyomin was there. She couldn’t find her.

“Where is she?”, Sooyoung mumbled, thinking of her friend’s whereabout.

“Sooyoung, are you okay?”, Jessica asked after she found Sooyoung looked like was spacing out.

“Huh? Y-yeah, I’m okay. I just wondering where did Sunny and Taeyeon go?”, she replied as she voiced out her thought.

“Oh! I think I know. I met Taeyeon when she was on her way to the restroom. I have been harassed by a drunken guy, and thank God she were there and she helped me to get rid off that jerk. She’s so amazing, you know. With just her one powerful kick, that guy collapsed and cried in pain. She then told me that she will report to Sunny about the incident”, Tiffany said.

“Chincha?”, both Sooyoung and Jessica said in unison. Tiffany nodded.

“Wow, that Kim Taeyeon! I thought she was kidding with me when she told me she took a taekwondo lesson. It turns out that she really did”, Sooyoung said as she felt surprised and impressed at the same time.

“Chincha?”, Tiffany replied. Sooyoung nodded. “No wonder her kicking is so powerful. I must thank her again for saving me. She’s a nice person”, Tiffany said.

“She’s always like that, Tiffany ssi. Not to boast much about her, but she’s a kind-hearted person. She used to help a high school student from being beaten continuously by his father who was a drunkard. She helped him to pay for his school fees and gave some money for that kid’s mother to support their life”, Sooyoung proudly told her about her best friend’s good deed.

“She’s caring, kind-hearted, and cute too”, Tiffany thought. “I see. How did you know her?”, Tiffany asked as she was starting to get interested in finding out more about Taeyeon.

“She’s my college mate and my best friend. We took the same architecture course, and graduated on time together. She’s very talented in arts and design, and coincidentally we have the same interest and vision to start our own business. So, we eventually decided to become a business partner, and opened a construction company”, Sooyoung replied.

“Wow! You both work as an architect? Awesome! That’s very rare for girls to be interested to work in that field”, Tiffany said as she felt impressed.

“My family inherited this kind of business. My grandfather is an architect, same goes with my father. They wanted me to be like them, so, I took the challenge and start up my own business with Taengoo since she has the same interest as mine. So, that’s how it goes”, Sooyoung replied while sipping his drinks.

“Sorry for keep you waiting, girls. We have to attend some urgent matters”, Sunny said as she suddenly approached to their table.

“We know about it, Sunny ah. Tiffany told us just now. So, how was it going? Where’s Taeyeon?”, Sooyoung asked.

“I have already asked the chief security to report him to the police. They will settle the matter. I’m so sorry, Fany for what had happened to you earlier. I have already asked my security guys to tighten the security around this club”, Sunny said as she bowed.

“It’s okay, Sunny ah. Things happened beyond our control. But, I’m glad that Taeyeon ssi was there. Otherwise I don’t know what will happened to me if she’s not there”, Tiffany replied as she smiled, thinking about her cute hero who has saved her from the unfortunate incident.

“Glad that you’re okay, Fany. We would be more careful toward our customer’s security in the future”, Sunny said.

“Thank you, babe. Anyway, where’s Taeyeon ssi?”, Tiffany asked.

“Oh! She went straight to the restroom after the case settled. She said she couldn’t hold her pee though”, Sunny replied as she chuckled.

“Ah, I see. Yeah, she was about to go to the restroom before the incident happened. Let’s wait for her then”, Tiffany said. Not long after, they saw Taeyeon was walking toward their table after she had done her business.

“Taengoo my hero!”, Sooyoung suddenly got up and dashed toward Taeyeon and pulled her into a hug.

“W-what was happening? What’s wrong with you?”, Taeyeon replied as she was puzzled with Sooyoung sudden act. Sooyoung patted on her back before she pulled off the hug.

“Tiffany had told us everything about the incident at the restroom. You’re really a hero tonight though. I’m so proud of you!”, Sooyoung said as she pulled her hand to sit next to her.

“Ah, that. It’s nothing though. I would do the same if that happened to you. Glad that Tiffany ssi is okay now”, Taeyeon replied, smiling sheepishly while scratching at the back of her non-itchy head.

“Alright, girls. I have to go now to meet our VIP guests. I’ll be back later. Please help yourself with the food and drinks, okay? It’s on house tonight”, Sunny said.

“Dae! Thanks, Sunny!”, the girls thanked her. Sunny waved to them before she left the table.

“Taeng, let me introduce you to Jessica Jung. Jessica, this is Kim Taeyeon, my best friend”, Sooyoung introduced her to Taeyeon.

“Hello, Taeyeon ssi! Nice to meet you!”, Jessica said as she extended her hand to shake hands with her.

“Nice to meet you too, Jessica ssi. Just call me Taeyeon”, she replied and shook hands with the latter.

“And, this is my best friend who is also my business partner that you have met just now, Tiffany Hwang”, Jessica said while glancing at Tiffany.

“Yeah”, Taeyeon replied as she smiled. Tiffany glanced at her and flashing a sweet smile. Jessica then leaned closer to Sooyoung and whispered something. Sooyoung smirked and both of them suddenly got up from their seat.

“Taengoo, Fany. Me and Sica want to go to the dance hall downstairs. Do you girls want to join us?”, Sooyoung asked.

“I’ll pass”, Taeyeon quickly answered while raised her hand. Tiffany glanced at Taeyeon and shifted her gaze at both Sooyoung and Jessica.

“Me too. You two just go ahead and enjoy your time there. We will just stay here and enjoy our drinks”, Tiffany said.

“Arasso. Let’s go, Sica”, Sooyoung said as she grabbed Jessica’s hand and entwined their hands together. They eventually walked away from the table, leaving the two girls dumbfounded with their action just now.

“That was fast!”, they said in unison. Taeyeon and Tiffany looked at each other in surprise, and suddenly laughed.

“Jinx!”, Tiffany said with a giggle, and Taeyeon nodded with a smile. “We really have the same thought about them”, she added, earning a nod from Taeyeon again.

“Yeah. Maybe because of our instinct, knowing that they have mutual feelings . They can suit each other that fast”, Taeyeon states her opinion.

“I think so”, Tiffany said. “So, are you often coming to the club, Taeyeon?”, she asked as to start the conversation with her. Taeyeon shook her head.

“Nope. This is my first time. I was basically being dragged here by that giant . Well, since she and Sunny are good friends, so she basically invited me too”, Taeyeon replied. Tiffany chuckled after she heard Taeyeon calls Sooyoung as a ‘giant’. She found it funny.

“You called your friend ‘giant’? Both of you must be very close, isn’t it?”, she said. Taeyeon smiled and nodded.

“Yup. We’re like sisters. In fact, our parents are also friends. I’m not really a social person, Tiffany. I don’t have many friends, unlike Sooyoung. She and my other friend are basically my close friends since our college times”, she replied. Tiffany nodded understandingly.

“I see. I don’t have many friends too. Jessica is my best friend since we were in diapers. We were born in the same hospital in LA. We went to the same school, and graduated from the same college. We were like twins, you know”, Tiffany said as she smiled.

“Chincha? Wow! That’s interesting! I mean, you know, it’s hard to find a friend that you have known since you were born, and became close up until now. It’s one in a million I guess”, Taeyeon replied.

“Yeah, you’re right. Although sometimes her antics were nerve-racking to be dealt with, but she’s actually a nice person. She’s also a strict and serious person when it comes into work. So, she’s basically a great friend and business partner for me”, she proudly told about her best friend.

“You’re lucky to have her as a friend”, Taeyeon said as she smiled, showing her cute dimple.

“You’re lucky to have Sooyoung as your friend too ”, Tiffany replied with her killer eye smile. Their eyes suddenly met and they froze. Both of them unconsciously stared into each other’s eyes.

“Damn!”, both of them cursing in their thoughts as their hearts were racing. They didn’t dare to look at each other as they suddenly felt shy, and shifted their gazes to the dance hall. Both of them then pretended to look for their friends in the dance hall, but failed to do so as people were busy enjoying the loud music while dancing. Tiffany really wants to join them at the dance hall, but after a second thought, she didn't dare for fear of the incident at the restroom just now will be repeated again. So, they just sit still at their respective seats while sipping their drinks and enjoying the music being played by the DJ.

“Damn that giant!”, Taeyeon cursed in her mind. She was so furious when Sooyoung suddenly told her that she couldn’t send her home because she and Jessica wanted to have late night supper together at somewhere else. Jessica has asked Tiffany to send Taeyeon home instead, since she came to the club by a cab.

“It’s okay, Tiffany. I can take a cab. I don’t want to trouble you”, Taeyeon said, declining the offer politely. Tiffany who was more than glad to send her home suddenly felt disappointed when Taeyeon said so.

“I insist, Taeyeon. You had helped me earlier, let me help you back by sending you home”, Tiffany said with her serious look.

“Wow! This woman looks scary right now”, Taeyeon thought. “Besides, I don’t want to disappoint her since she’s Jessica’s friend, which directly related to that giant. I don’t want her to complain later”, she thought again as she let out a soft sigh.

“Arasso. Thanks anyway”, Taeyeon finally relented, causing the girl flashing her eye smile, again! Taeyeon froze as she suddenly got struck by the other girl’s killer eye smile.

“You’re most welcome, Tae..”, she replied as she softly called Taeyeon’s short name while smiled shyly. Taeyeon couldn’t help but to smile. Tiffany then opened the door and ushered Taeyeon to get in the car.

“Wow! You really got a nice car here”, she said the moment Tiffany started to drive her bright colored car. It’s a Barbie Pink Audi R8 car to be exact, a limited edition. “Pink maniac”, she thought as she giggled silently.

“Thanks, Tae. I know not everyone likes pink. Jessica really hate to ride in my car. She said she felt like a Barbie doll or something like that”, Tiffany replied causing Taeyeon burst out laughing. Tiffany then shoot her intense glare which immediately made Taeyeon stopped laughing.

“Sorry. I didn’t mean to laugh at you or mock your interest in pink color. It’s just that, your story about Jessica was really funny. I’m sorry, okay?”, Taeyeon said as she smiled apologetically. Tiffany suddenly flashed her eye smile, and it caused Taeyeon felt confused with her multiple personality, but her heart felt fluttered at the same time.

“It’s okay, Tae. I know you didn’t intend it that way. Alright, let’s go!”, she said as she started drove her car, heading to Taeyeon’s residence.

“Alright. We are here!”, Tiffany announced right after the car making it stop in front of Taeyeon’s apartment block. Taeyeon unbuckle her seatbelt and opened the door. Tiffany did the same as she got out of the car.

“Well, ermm.. thank you so much for sending me home”, Taeyeon thanked her.

“You’re welcome, Tae. So, now we are even, huh?”, she replied with a grin.

“Hahaha.. Yeah. We are even now”, Taeyeon chuckled. So, drive carefully, okay?”, Taeyeon said.

“I will”, Tiffany replied. Taeyeon was about to start walking when Tiffany suddenly called for her.

“Tae! Wait!”, she said while opened her handbag to find something inside. She took out a pink name card holder, and took out one of her name cards from it. She walked toward Taeyeon and extended her hand to hand her name card to her.

“Here, this is my name card. Just call me if you want us to design your suit or dress for any occasions. We can do that”, Tiffany said while flashing her infamous eye smile.

“So much for doing a business with her, huh?”, Tiffany thought as she giggled silently.

“O-Oh, okay”, she said and took the name card from her. “Ermm.. sorry I didn’t bring mine. I will give you a call if I want to do so. Thanks, Fany. Can I call you Fany?”, Taeyeon asked. Tiffany was surprised at first, but then she immediately smiled and her face was blushing at the same time.

“M-mwoh? Ah, y-yes. Sure! You should call me by that. Alright, I will see you around, Tae. Good night! Bye!”, she said as she bid Taeyeon goodbye.

“Good night! Bye, Fany!”, Taeyeon replied. She just watched Tiffany went inside her car, and waved at her before the latter drove away. Taeyeon waved back at her, and waited until Tiffany’s car disappeared from her sight.

“Tiffany Hwang”, she mumbled smilingly while staring at the name card.

A week later

“Call her, or not to call. Call her or not..”, Tiffany was mumbling while counting with her fingers. She was looking back and forth between her fingers and her phone. She startled when her best friend Jessica suddenly slumped herself on the couch next to her.

“Call who?”, she said as she sit next to Tiffany.

“Yah! Aishh.. Can you please not to do like that next time?”, she exclaimed while slapping on Jessica’s thigh.

“Yah! It hurts!”, she cried with her dolphin shriek, causing Tiffany’s hands automatically cupping her ears.

“Serves you right!”, she said with a smirk. Jessica stuck her tongue out at her.

“You! What did you say just now? Who do you want to call, huh?”, Jessica asked while pointing her finger at Tiffany with her infamous icy glare. Tiffany just rolled her eyes and continued scrolling on her phone screen. Jessica then tried to snatch the phone from her, but Tiffany's quick action has failed Jessica's attempt in snatching her precious phone, causing the ice princess frowned.

“Grrr..”, she leaned closer to her and snarled like a crazy cat, ready to pick a fight. Tiffany burst out laughing while pushing the ice princess forehead, causing her shrieked once again.

“You! You’re so dead, Tiffany Hwang for treating me like this. I hate you!”, she exclaimed while crossed her arms.

“Like I care! You have Sooyoung right now. Go and ask her to pacify you”, Tiffany said teasingly.

“Yah! She’s got nothing to do with me here. It’s you, you that I should investigate. You have acted weirdly ever since you got Kim Taeyeon’s name card from Sooyoung. What she had done to you, huh? Do you like her?”, Jessica asked with her straight face.

“What’s wrong with you?”, Tiffany replied as she quickly got up from the couch and walked towards her desk. They were in Tiffany’s office at the moment. Jessica followed her and sat on the chair in front of Tiffany’s desk.

“You just can’t hide it from me, Tiff. I have known you since we were in diapers. You obviously shown that you are really like her, aren’t you?”, Jessica said as she smirked. Although she seemed like making a blind guess, but she knew deep down her heart, her friend has already started to like the midget hero.

“I don’t know what are you talking about, Jessi. I asked for her name card just to invite her for coffee or tea as to repay for her kindness in helping me last time. That’s all”, Tiffany replied, defending herself.

“Yeah, right! Try to defend yourself, huh? Just admit it, Tiff. There’s nothing wrong admitting that you like her. She’s cute, strong, brilliant, and have a nice job, isn’t that what you’re looking for? Perfect criterias for your life partner?”, Jessica said. Tiffany kept silent a while as she was in a deep thought. Yes, Jessica was right. Kim Taeyeon indeed meet all the criterias as a life partner for her. It is just she thought that, will she feel the same? It’s already been a week since they ran into each other at the club, but none of them tried to contact each other. It made her more curious about how the Kim Taeyeon thought about her.

“I don’t know, Jessi. I don’t know what she will think about me. Will she feel the same? We never knew”, Tiffany said as she smiled faintly.

Jessica smiled as she knew that her best friend felt helpless in finding the way to know on how Taeyeon thought about her. What Tiffany didn't know is that, Taeyeon felt the same way too. How did she know? Well, of course from Taeyeon’s best friend a.k.a. her girlfriend, Choi Sooyoung. Yes, after they met each other at Sunny’s club a week ago, both of them admitted that they liked each other, and Sooyoung was the first one who asked Jessica to be her girlfriend. They were just in the beginning phase as lovers.

As for Taeyeon, she was asked by Sooyoung on how she thought about Tiffany. Taeyeon admits that she likes her, especially her eye smile. So, Jessica’s job now become much easier as she already knew both of them liked each other. Both Taeyeon and Tiffany just need another meet up.

“It’s not wrong to ask her first for coffee or tea just to have a talk, to know what she have thought about you, Tiff. Who knows, she probably having the same feeling like yours”, Jessica said. Tiffany raised her brows, and placing her hands under her chin while looking at Jessica.

“You think I should do that?”, she asked.

“Yeah, why not? Better to try it than do nothing. Who knows, right?”, Jessica replied. Tiffany smiled as her level of confidence suddenly boost up after she got the encouragement from her best friend.

“Alright, I need to continue my work now. Just remember of what I said earlier, okay?”, Jessica said as she got up from her seat.

“Thanks, Jessi. You’re the best!”, Tiffany replied while flashing her infamous eye smile to Jessica.

“Anything for you, babe. Just update me after your meet up, okay?”, Jessica said.

“Yes, ma’am!”, she replied and playfully salute her. Jessica just chuckled and walked towards the door.

Later on that night at JeTi’s apartment

Tiffany was left alone in the apartment as Jessica went out to have a dinner with Sooyoung. She took this opportunity to call Taeyeon, and was planning to ask her out on tomorrow.

“Urghh.. Why do I feel so nervous?”, she mumbled while waiting for the call to be answered.

“Yoboseyo?”, finally Taeyeon answered her call after several ringings.

“H-hi, Tae! Sorry for disturbing you”, she said nervously.

“Ermm.. it’s okay. Anyway, who’s this?”, she asked.

“I’m Tiffany. Tiffany Hwang, the girl you have saved from being harassed by the drunken guy at Sunny’s club, remember?”, she replied as she explained.

“Oh, yes, yes! Fany! Hey, how are you?”, she said as she sounded excited. Tiffany couldn’t help but to smile.

“I’m good, Tae. How about you?”, she asked.

“Same here. It’s just that I was quite busy the whole week to finish the paperwork for upcoming projects. How’s your work so far?”, she replied.

“Yeah, I heard it from Jessica too that you and Sooyoung were busy. Mine is okay. We just completed the design for our regular customer. It’s not a big project like yours, but it’s enough for us to receive a good pay”, she said, causing Taeyeon chuckled on her words. Somehow she loved to hear Taeyeon’s laughter. It managed to calm down her nervousness.

“Doesn’t matter whether it’s big or small, business is business, Fany ah. We do take small projects, as long as the money comes in, not goes out, am I right?”, Taeyeon replied as she giggled. She’s indeed a humble person, and that has added another reason for Tiffany to like her more.

“Yeah, you’re right, Tae. Ermm.. anyway, I just want to ask..”, Tiffany said as she felt nervous.

“Yes? What is it?”, Taeyeon replied. Tiffany then patted her chest, tried to calm herself down.

“Ermm.. are you.. are you free on tomorrow afternoon, Tae?”, she asked as she stuttered.

“Tomorrow afternoon? Ermm.. let me check my planner in my phone first. Can you please hold on?”, Taeyeon replied.

“Yes, sure”, Tiffany said as she nervously waiting. After a minute, she could hear Taeyeon’s voice were humming something. She smiled as she found it cute.

“Fany ah. I’m so sorry, I have a lunch meeting till late afternoon. Ermm.. can we meet during dinner? I’m free the whole evening after the meeting”, Taeyeon replied as she suggested.

“Y-yeah, sure. Dinner will do. On what time do you want us to meet up?”, she asked as she already felt excited at the thought that Taeyeon has agreed to meet her, regardless whether it’s for coffee or dinner.

“Around 8:00 in the evening. It’s that okay for you?”, Taeyeon replied.

“Yeah, I’m okay with that, Tae. I will text you the place that we are going to meet later, okay?”, Tiffany said.

“No, it’s okay, Fany ah. No need to book any place. I will bring you to have dinner somewhere instead. I will pick you up from your place on 8:00, arasso?”, Taeyeon replied, and her words made Tiffany dumbfounded. Isn’t she's the one who supposed to determine the place for them to meet up?

“Fany ah, are you still there?”, Taeyeon asked, and her voice has made Tiffany startled.

“Y-yeah, I’m still here”, she replied. She patted her cheek several times just to make sure she’s not dreaming.

“Alright. I’m sorry Fany ah, I couldn’t talk long. I’m still in the office to check on some documents. I’ll see you on tomorrow, okay?”, Taeyeon said as she has to cut short the conversation.

“Oh, really? I’m sorry to disturb you once again. Yeah, I’ll see you on tomorrow evening”, Tiffany replied.

“It’s okay, Fany ah. Good night, bye!”, Taeyeon said.

“Y-yeah. Good night, Tae. Bye!”, she said as the call ended. She looked at her phone screen in disbelief, and suddenly shouted.

“Yesss! I have a dinner date with Kim Taeyeon! Gosh! I’m so excited!”, she raised her both hands while jumping up and down excitedly like a small kid. She suddenly stopped jumping and rushed towards her bedroom.

“I need to check on a good dress for tomorrow’s dinner”, she mumbled while opening her closet door and rummaged on the clothes inside the closet.

In front of JeTi’s apartment block

Tiffany keep on glancing her wristwatch, and it’s already 8:05 in the evening. She was pacing back and forth while glancing at the main entrance near the security post.

“Keep calm, Tiffany, keep calm. Maybe she is stuck in a traffic jam”, Tiffany mumbled. While she was mumbling to herself, she didn’t realize a silver SLK AMG Mercedes Benz car was entering the main entrance of the apartment block, and slowly approaching to where Tiffany was standing. The car then stopped, and a petite girl who was wearing a white business suit pairing with a baby blue blouse and black stilettos hurriedly got out of the car.

“Fany ah! I’m so sorry for being late. I got stuck in a traffic jam”, Taeyeon said while walking towards the latter. She suddenly stopped walking as she was stunned by the eye smiled girl who was wearing a dark pink knee length dress, pairing with a black high heels which really stands out her beauty.

“Omo! You look so gorgeous, Fany ah! I’m really out of a dress code for dinner tonight”, she said while giggled, looking at her business suit.

“It’s okay, Tae. I’m glad that you arrived safely”, Tiffany replied as she smiled sheepishly. Without notice, Taeyeon suddenly grabbed Tiffany’s hand, causing the latter startled on her sudden act.

“Kaja!”, she said as she entwined her hands with Tiffany’s, and pulled her to walk towards the car. Tiffany was speechless at first, but she’s just followed suit. She then opened the door at the passenger’s side for Tiffany.

“Thanks, Tae”, Tiffany said as she quickly went inside the car.

“You’re welcome”, Taeyeon replied, and closed the door for her. She then dashed to the driver’s side and immediately went inside the car.

“Tae, you don’t have to bring me here. I just.. “, Tiffany was about to continue her words when suddenly Taeyeon cut her off.

“It’s okay, Fany ah. I have already made a reservation for our dinner. I want you to feel comfortable when eating your food later. Oh, and for your info, I don’t really like going to a noisy place. It’s hard for me to concentrate while eating or talking to someone, especially when with my client. This is the best place where me and Sooyoung usually brought our clients to have our discussion while eating”, Taeyeon explained. She’s indeed a particular and business minded person, even to choose the place to eat must have related to her nature of work.

“I see”, Tiffany nodded. “But, I’m not your client, Taeyeon ah”, she thought.

Taeyeon stopped the car as they arrived in front of the W Hotel foyer. Taeyeon immediately got out of the car, and rushed towards the passenger’s side to open the door for Tiffany.

“Thanks Tae. You really don’t have to do that every time”, Tiffany said.

“Don’t mention, Fany ah. Just pretend that you are my date tonight”, Taeyeon casually said, causing Tiffany froze on her spot, and made her heart skip a beat.

“Aigoo.. How sweet this person can be”, she thought. “Ermm.. t-thank you”, Tiffany thanked her again as her face flushed. Taeyeon just chuckled and grabbed her hand to help her got out of the car. She then handed the car keys to the valet parking, and just casually entwined her hand with Tiffany’s, like nothing happened. Tiffany on the other hand couldn’t stop herself from admiring the petite girl for being so nice to her tonight. If people look at them right now, they surely have mistakenly thought that they’re as a couple or lovers.

“Good evening, Miss Kim”, the waiter greets and bowed to her.

“Evening, Mr. Han”, Taeyeon greets him back. He then lead both girls to the table where has been reserved for them. Mr. Han quickly pulled the chairs for both of them.

“Thank you”, they thanked him in unison.

“You’re welcome”, Mr. Han replied and quickly placed the menu for each of them on the table. He then stood aside and patiently wait for them to place their order.

“Just order what you want to eat, okay? It’s on me tonight”, Taeyeon softly said. Tiffany nodded as she smiled, and continue to look at the menu.

“I would like to have the usual, Mr. Han, and please bring a bottle of the best red wine you have in here. Thank you”, Taeyeon said as she handed the menu to Mr. Han.

“Sure, Miss Kim”, he replied and took back the menu from her.

“I would like to have Sirloin steak set, and a plain water, please”, Tiffany then placed her order. Mr. Han raised his brows in surprise.

“The same order as Miss Kim?”, he said, causing Taeyeon chuckled.

“Yes, Mr. Han. We do have the same taste when it comes to our favorite food”, Taeyeon replied while glancing at Tiffany. Tiffany on the other hand was staring at Taeyeon in disbelief. Taeyeon then noticed Tiffany was staring at her, and she winked at her with her goofy grin. Tiffany suddenly blushed and quickly shifted her eyes to elsewhere.

“You two are really a great couple. I wish you two to have a happy relationship”, Mr. Han said, causing Tiffany raised her brows in surprise.

“Thank you, Mr. Han”, Taeyeon thank him with a grin.

“Alright, I need to excuse myself first, and your order will be done in twenty minutes”, Mr. Han said as he took back the menu from Tiffany before he left the table and heading to the kitchen. Tiffany just stared at Mr. Han until the middle aged man disappeared from her sight.

“Fany ah. I’m so sorry for what Mr. Han had said earlier”, Taeyeon said.

“It’s okay, Tae. I really don’t mind though”, Tiffany replied as she smiled.

“Mr. Han knew me well since I was the regular customer at this restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, I never brought any girls to have a dinner date with me here. I usually brought my clients here and Mr. Han knew that too. I think he was just surprised and thought that you’re my date tonight”, Taeyeon explained.

“I wish I was your date, Kim Taeyeon”, Tiffany thought.

“I see. Don’t worry, I understand you, Tae”, Tiffany said as she smiled reassuringly. Deep down her heart, she felt a bit disappointed as her wish will never come true.

“The thing is Fany ah.. ermm..”, Taeyeon was about to continue her words when suddenly a guy walked towards their table with a bouquet of pink roses.

“Delivery for Miss Tiffany Hwang?”, The guy said as he handed the pink roses bouquet to Tiffany.

“For me?”, Tiffany said in surprised. The guy nodded with a smile. “T-thanks”, she thanked the guy while staring at the pink roses bouquet on the table. “Who send this?”, she mumbled in curious while searching for the card in between the roses. After she found the small card, she read the notes written inside, and it made her dumbfounded.

“T-Tae.. This is..”, Tiffany was speechless.

“Unexpected?”, Taeyeon said as she smiled.

“Y-yeah.. I.. I don’t know what to say, Tae”, she replied as her eyes started to become red, trying to hold the tears from falling down.

“Just say yes, Fany ah. Even if you can’t say the word, you can give me a wink or thumb ups, or any signs will do, as long as it’s a ‘yes’ sign”, Taeyeon said, causing the latter chuckled on her words. Tiffany suddenly got up from her seat, and walked towards Taeyeon. She pulled her her hands to stand up and without warning, she gave a peck on Taeyeon’s lips. The latter was speechless as her eyes widened in surprise.

“It’s a yes, Tae”, she said as she smiled sweetly to her. Taeyeon gulped while her eyes blinked rapidly.

“I think I like this kind of ‘yes’ sign”, she said with a goofy grin. Tiffany slapped her arm while laughing.

“Ehem!”, both of them startled with the sudden sound which coming from Mr. Han and quickly went back to their respective seats. Mr. Han chuckled softly while looking at the new couple antics.

“Your order, Miss”, he casually said while placing the foods and a bottle of red wine on the table. He carefully opened the cap, and poured the wine into the glass for each of them.

“Enjoy your meal, Miss”, Mr. Han said before he left.

“Thank you”, both of them thanked him in unison. Taeyeon then took the wine glass, and raised it. She cleared before she started to speak.

“Well, this is more on celebrating our first date. I hope you don’t mind with the surprise I made, Fany ah. So, I hope this is just the beginning of our many many dates in the future”, she said, causing Tiffany chuckled on her words.

“To our future dates!”, she replied as she raised her wine glass and toast to Taeyeon’s. They continue to drink wine while eating and chatting on random things

“Thanks for the dinner, Tae”, Tiffany thanked Taeyeon right after she stopped her car in front of Tiffany’s apartment block.

“You’re welcome”, Taeyeon replied as she smiled. “Do you like the place I brought you for dinner tonight?” she asked.

“Yes, I like it and it’s a great place. But, next time you don’t have to bring me there anymore. It’s enough if we can have our dinner in a regular place like a small cafe or something like that. I’m okay with that, Tae”, Tiffany replied. She knew Taeyeon has already used to eat in a luxury place like tonight, but she doesn’t want Taeyeon to pamper her much although she could afford that too.

“I’m actually really don’t mind about the place, Fany ah. If you want, we can have our dinner at my place too. I can cook, you know”, Taeyeon said with a grin.

“Really? Wow, what else you can’t do, Tae? I mean, it’s like you know everything”, Tiffany replied. Taeyeon chuckled.

“Well, I can sing too, you know. Alright, why don’t we have our next dinner at my place? I cook dinner for us, and after the dinner I can sing for you, how about that?”, she suggested.

“Sounds good to me. I think I like that. Alright, it’s a deal”, Tiffany said.

“Deal!”, Taeyeon replied smilingly. She then unbuckle her seatbelt, and got out off the car. She rushed to the passenger’s side to open the door for Tiffany.

“Thanks. Well, I think I will see you around soon. Text or call me when you arrived home later, okay?”, Tiffany said right after she got out of the car. Taeyeon closed the door and stood beside her.

“Okay”, she replied. “So, I’ll see you later, Fany ah. Thanks for having dinner with me tonight”, Taeyeon said while looking at Tiffany.

“You’re welcome, Tae”, Tiffany replied while flashing her infamous eye smile. She then leaned closer to Taeyeon’s face, and pecked on her lips. She chuckled when she saw Taeyeon was stiff in her spot and her face flushed. She decided to tease the latter as she wrapped her arms around Taeyeon’s waist, and pulled her closer into her embrace. She pecked her lips many times until Taeyeon finally dared herself to take the next step and pulled her for the kiss. They kissed for the good ten seconds and Taeyeon pulled off first. They pressed their foreheads together, smiling to each other.

“I think I fall in love with you, Fany ah”, Taeyeon softly said. Tiffany’s smile grew wider, and she pecked on Taeyeon’s lips once again.

“I think I fall in love with you too, Tae. All I wanna do is talk to you tonight, but it turned out we were confessing to each other”, Tiffany replied while caressing Taeyeon’s face. Taeyeon smiled as she leaned forward for another kiss. The kiss that symbolizing they have stepped into a new chapter in their lives as lovers.
