“Yuri ah!”, she immediately stopped her work as she heard someone called her name. She slid herself out from the bottom of the car's engine and looked up at the person who’s calling her just now.

“Yes, oppa. What’s up?”, she asked. The ‘oppa’ signaling her using his eyes to the person who was standing next to Ferrari F12 Berlinetta car not far from them.

“Aishh.. what does she wants? I’ve already repaired her car last time. Just ask other mechanics to fix her car, will you?”, she grunted, causing the ‘oppa’ to widen his eyes, afraid that the person will hearing Yuri’s words.

 

“Just cut her some slack, will you? She’s our regular customer though. Besides, you have already gotten used to repair her car before and she's comfortable with you”, the ‘oppa’, Kwon Yunho, who is also her elder brother and co-owner of The Kwon’s Car Specialist said to his little sister.

 

“I know.. I know.. aishh.. help me to get up, please”, she replied as she holding out her hands, gesturing her brother to pull her up. Yunho then pulled her hands, helping his little sister to get up. But, he hold Yuri’s wrist before the latter could walk to the said customer.

 

“Just go get your girl”, Yunho whispered as he teased his little sister.

 

“Yah!”, she exclaimed while elbowed her brother’s stomach, causing the latter yelped in pain. She stuck her tongue out to her brother before she walked towards their said customer.

 

“Yes, Yoona ssi, how can I help you?”, Yuri asked the customer who named Im Yoona while glancing at the latter’s car.

 

“Annyeong, Yuri ssi!”, Yoona greeted her. “I think my car’s piston rings has a problem. Its acceleration power has become less. Can you please check on it?”, she said.

 

“What have you done this time, Yoona ssi? Are you involved in illegal car racing again?”, she asked as she furrowed her brows. Yoona just grinned while giving her ‘peace’ sign.

 

“I knew it”, she mumbled while rolling her eyes annoyingly.She walked towards the car and opened the door, and she pushed the button to open the hood. She immediately inspected the engine. After a while, she has done with the inspection.

 

“Yoona ssi. I think this can’t be done by today. You need to leave your car here. I will ask my staff to send you home”, Yuri said.

 

“Ermm.. c-can you send me instead? I’m not comfortable if your staff send me home”, Yoona said as she hesitated.

 

“Urghhh.. what’s wrong with this girl? Oppaaaa…I’m going to kill you later!”, she groaned in her mind.

 

“As much as I wanted to send you home Yoona ssi, as you can see I’m really busy right now. I have got so many cars to be repaired today you know”, she replied. Yoona pouted while giving Yuri her puppy eyes.

 

“Yuri ssi, please..”, she begged. Yuri ruffled her hair in annoyance, causing her hair looks messy. Yoona chuckled while looking at her and she walked closer and helped Yuri to fix her messy hair. Yuri gasped at the sudden close contact with the latter.

 

“Err.. Y-Yoona ssi. It’s.. it’s okay. I can fix it myself. I will… I will send you home”, she said as she slowly distance herself from Yoona. Yoona smiled on her success to persuade Yuri to send her home. She then walked towards the workshop’s office, followed by Yoona from behind.

 

“So, what’s up?”, Yunho asked the moment Yuri entered their office. He startled when he saw Yoona behind his little sister.

 

“Oh, Yoona ssi! Annyeong!”, Yunho immediately got up from his seat and greeted the latter.

 

“Annyeong, Yunho ssi. How are you doing?”, Yoona greeted him back.

 

“I’m good, Yoona ssi. So, how’s your car?”, Yunho asked.

 

“Oh, my car got a problem on its piston rings. I have already ask Yuri ssi to repair it. Since she’s busy today so I have to leave my car here. I ask Yuri ssi to send me home”, she replied while glancing at Yuri who was busy looking for her car keys.

 

“Ah, I see. So, Yuri will send you home, eh?”, Yunho said while glancing at Yuri. The latter sending a deadly glare at her brother. Yunho gulped and quickly turned to look at his laptop screen.

 

“Yes, Yunho ssi”, Yoona replied.

 

“Alright, Yoona ssi. Let’s go”, Yuri said as she walked towards the door. Yoona just follow her suit. “I’m sending her home”, she said to her brother before she walked out of the office.

 

“Ne”, Yunho replied. “Aigoo.. I’m dead! Yuri will kill me after this”, he mumbled while smacked his own forehead.

 

Yuri unlock her Audi R8 Spyder car and opened the door to get inside the car. Yoona was waiting for Yuri to open the passenger’s door for her like usual, but it was hopeless as Yuri just ignored her.

 

“Aishh.. this Kwon Yuri. What’s with the cold attitude, huh? Can you just try to be a romantic person once a while?”, she thought. She then opened the car’s door for herself and quickly got inside.

 

“Wow! I have always admire your car, Yuri ssi”, Yoona said while caressing the car’s dashboard. Yuri just ignored her and continued to push the start button to turn on the engine. Yoona noticed on Yuri's cold action against her. She took a deep breath before she started to speak.

 

“Yuri ssi. Ermm.. can I call you Yuri instead?”, Yoona asked nervously.

 

“Yeah, sure”, she replied nonchalant. Yoona let out a soft sigh.

 

“Look, I’m sorry if my indecent behaviour and unbeneficial hobby giving you a lot of troubles”, she said. Again, the latter just ignored her. There were silent atmosphere in the car for a moment before Yoona began to speak again.

 

“Yuri ah. Are you mad at me?”, she asked. Yuri sighed as she glanced at the latter and kept focusing her eyes on the road back.

 

“Look, I’m not mad at you, Yoona ssi. It’s just that, I don’t like on what you’re doing, and you keep disturbing me. I have to work to make sure my business can keep on running, not to waste my time with a rich people like you”, she straightforwardly said it to her. Yoona felt hurt with Yuri’s words. Yes, she knew she came from a wealthy family. His father was the owner of the sole distributor company of Ferrari cars in Seoul. She did nothing other than to engage in illegal car racing which has become her hobby since her college time.

 

“Stop the car now”, Yoona ordered. Yuri just ignored her again as she keep on driving.

 

“I said stop the car now!”, she exclaimed in anger. Yuri was shocked with her sudden outburst as she immediately pulled over the car and stopped driving.

 

“What the hell is wrong with you?”, it’s Yuri’s turn now to exclaim in anger.

 

“Open the door”, Yoona said with a straight voice.

 

“No. I’m not going to open it. I will send you home, safe and sound”, Yuri replied as she locked the door.

 

“I said open the door now!”, she exclaimed. Yuri just ignored her and started to drive the car.

 

“I hate you, Kwon Yuri!”, she shouted. Yuri just shook her head as she keep on driving. Not long after, she heard a soft sobbing from the girl next to her.

 

“Aishh.. what have you done, Kwon Yuri?”, she thought. She just wanted to ignore the girl again, but her heart refused to do so. Of course, she still have a soft spot for her.

 

After almost thirty minutes of driving, they finally arrived in front of the Im’s mansion. She glanced at Yoona, and was about to say something when suddenly Yoona started to speak first.

 

“Thank you for sending me home. I will send someone to pick up my car once it’s ready”, she said as she immediately got off the car.

 

“Y-Yoona ssi, w-wait!”, Yuri called her, but the latter quickly walking away and entering the mansion using the small gate without looking back.

 

“What the.. urghhh…”, she groaned while ruffled her hair in disappointment. She then started to drive her car, leaving the mansion.

 

At The Kwon’s Car Specialist

 

Yuri was sitting at her desk while staring outside from her office window. She was still wondering of what was happening between her and Yoona earlier. “Why was she acting like that?”, she thought. “I was stating the truth, though!”, she suddenly exclaimed causing her brother startled.

 

“Yah! What was actually happen to you, huh? Ever since you got back from sending Yoona just now, you’re not your usual self, staring at the window like there’s something interesting at the window”, her brother said.

 

“Aishh.. just shut up, oppa!”, she snapped at him.

 

“Yah, yah! How dare you said to your oppa like that, huh?”, Yunho snapped at her back.

 

“Urghh.. whatever, oppa! I’m going to continue my work”, she said while getting up from her seat and stormed towards the door.

 

“Is it because of that Yoona girl?”, Yunho suddenly said to her little sister, causing her stopped. She turned to look at her brother.

 

“It has nothing to do with her, oppa”, Yuri replied, rolling her eyes annoyingly. Of course, she’s lying though. Yunho smirked upon hearing her answer.

 

“I know you well, Yuri ah. So, don’t lie”, he said. Yuri walked towards her brother’s desk, and sat on the chair in front of the desk.

 

“What makes you say that, oppa?”, Yuri asked while furrowed her brows.

 

“Nothing. I’m just guessing”, he said while shrugging. “W-wait! That means, it is true, right?”, he asked, causing Yuri frowned.

 

“What true?”, she asked him back.

 

“That both of you liking each other”, he said with a smile while wiggling his brows.

 

“What nonsense you’re talking about, oppa? I don’t even know her! She’s just our customer for God’s sake!”, Yuri exclaimed and immediately got up from her seat, heading towards the door.

 

“It’s for you to figure it out!”, he exclaimed back while giggling. Yuri glared at him before she stormed out of the office.

 

Two days later

 

Yuri has done repairing Yoona’s car and she decided to just wait the latter’s representative to pick up her car. She was checking on her daily worksheet at her desk when suddenly she heard someone knocking the door.

 

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

 

“Come in!”, she shouted. The door then slowly opened, and a woman in early 30s entered the office.

 

“Annyeong haseyo!”, the woman greeted.

 

“A-annyeong haseyo. Err.. can I help you, Miss?”, Yuri asked as she got up from her seat.

 

“I’m Son Yoojin, Miss Im Yoona’s personal assistant. I come here to pick up Miss Im’s car. She asked me to meet Miss Kwon Yuri first. Can I see her?”, she replied.

 

“I’m Kwon Yuri, the co-owner of this workshop. Did she ask you to pick up her car?”, Yuri said.

 

“Yes, Miss Kwon”, Yoojin replied. Yuri nodded her head.

 

“Ermm.. just call me Yuri. By the way, may I know why she didn’t come to pick up the car by herself?”, Yuri asked in curious although she has already know the reason why Yoona did so.

 

“I’m sorry, Yuri ssi. Miss Im is unable to come here. She’s in the hospital right now”, Yoojin replied. Yuri’s eyes widened in surprise after receiving a shocking news.

 

“What? She’s at the hospital? What happened to her?”, Yuri asked frantically.

 

“She has involved in car accident yesterday”, Yoojin replied.

 

“Oh my God! H-how’s her condition?”, Yuri asked.

 

“She got her arm and leg broke, Yuri ssi”, Yoojin replied.

 

“Huh? What the.. ermm.. c-can you please tell me which hospital she was admitted to?”, she said.

 

“I see. She was admitted to the Hanshin Hospital, Yuri ssi”, Yoojin replied.

 

“Alright. Thank you for the info, Miss Son”, Yuri thanked her as she quickly took Yoona’s car keys, and handed it to Yoojin.

 

“Ermm.. Miss Son, are you going straight to the hospital after this, or return to the mansion?”, Yuri asked.

 

“Yuri ssi, just call me Yoojin, okay? And yes, I’m going straight to the hospital. Why?”, she replied.

 

“Err.. c-can I tag along? I want to visit her”, Yuri said.

 

“Ah, I see. Sure, Yuri ssi”, Yoojin replied.

 

“Thank you, Yoojin ssi. Let me bring you to her car”, Yuri said as she grabbed her belongings inside the desk drawer and rushed towards the latter.

 

“Err.. what about the bill, Yuri ssi?”, she asked.

 

“Later, when you send me back here. Alright, let’s go!”, Yuri replied as she opened the door and led Yoojin towards the workshop. She saw her brother was busy inspecting a customer’s car engine.

 

“Oppa, I’m going out for a while”, she said. Yunho stopped his work immediately.

 

“Where to?”, he asked while looking at his little sister and Yoojin who was standing next to her.

 

“To the hospital. I’m going to visit my friend there”, she said while unlocked her car.

 

“Who?”, Yunho asked again, furrowed his brows. He was about to ask Yuri about Yoojin when Yuri quickly gestured the latter to unlock Yoona’s car and getting inside the car.

 

“Aishh.. I need to go now, oppa. I’ll explain to you later”, Yuri said in hurry while getting inside the car. Yoojin then quickly drove the car away from the workshop.

 

“Aigo this little brat! She always did this whenever she is in emergency case”, Yunho grunted as he shook his head, and continued with his work.

 

At Hanshin Hospital

 

As soon as they arrived at the hospital, Yoojin led Yuri to the VIP ward where Yoon has been admitted. Yoojin was about to enter the ward when suddenly Yuri stopped in front of the door, and just stood still.

 

“Yuri ssi? Why are you standing there? Come, follow me”, she said while signaling Yuri to follow her to get inside the ward.

 

“Ermm..”, Yuri was fidgeting, still contemplating whether to get inside or not after what had happened between her and Yoona two days ago.

 

“Yuri ssi? Are you okay?”, Yoojin asked.

 

“Y-yeah”, she replied with a faint smile.

 

“Let’s get inside”, Yoojin said as she grabbed Yuri’s wrist, dragging the latter to get inside. Yoojin slowly walked towards the small living room, and she put her handbag and car keys on the coffee table. She could see from there Yoona was sleeping soundly. Yuri who just followed her from behind suddenly pulled her arm, causing Yoojin to stop walking.

 

“What’s wrong, Yuri ssi?”, Yoojin asked.

 

“Errmm.. you see, Yoojin ssi. How can I say this.. aishh..”, she said while scratching her head.

 

“What is it, Yuri ssi? Just tell me, I’m fine with it”, Yoojin replied with a smile. As she could read her mind, she knew Yuri wanted to tell her something related to Yoona, but she seemed hesitate to do so. She gestured Yuri to take a seat on the couch. Yuri just complied.

 

“So, what is it that you want to tell me, Yuri ssi?”, Yoojin asked while looking at Yuri. The latter keep on fidgeting from her seat.

 

“You know, Yoojin ssi. Two days ago when I sent Yoona back home, I…”, she paused before she continued. “I-I have said something that might hurt her feeling”, she said. Yoojin furrowed her brows.

 

“Chinca? What have you said to her?”, she asked as she looked rather serious.

 

“I.. I know this may sound odd to you. But, you know, ever since she knew about my workshop, she kept sending her car for repair there and I really felt annoyed with her. Her car broke down just because she involved in a stupid car racing. So, I have said something related to that hobby of hers which I think might hurt her feeling. T-that’s all about it”, Yuri explained. Yoojin took a deep breath before she started to speak.

 

“Yuri ssi, do you know why she was acting like that?”, she asked. Yuri shook her head. She glanced at sleeping Yoona and smiled. “Because she wants an attention”, she continued.

 

“Attention?”, Yuri replied, furrowing her brows.

 

“Yes. She wants attention from someone she likes or love”, Yoojin said with a smile.

 

“Y-you mean, s-she likes me?”, she asked as she look confused. Yoojin nodded her head.

 

“B-but, why? And, why me?”, she asked again.

 

“Yuri ssi, Yoona lost her mother when she was five years old. Her father couldn’t accept on her mother’s death, and and he started busied himself with work until he forgot that he still have daughters to look after too. Mr. Im hired me to look after Yoona and her elder sister, but because he was afraid he couldn’t monitor on his daughter’s well-being, he decided to send Yoona’s elder sister abroad to live with his elder sister, which is their aunt. Although she was still small at that time, she felt so sad  and hurt for being apart from her unnie. So, she really relied on me, and basically I was like her guardian, replacing her father. Mr. Im only providing her needs with money, Yuri ssi. Yoona felt her father didn't love her, and starting from that day, she kept showing her inner feelings with rebelling. I think you know by know why she’s acting like that”, Yoojin explained. Yuri let out a sigh as she felt sorry for the poor girl.

 

“Is she trying to gain my attention by involving with illegal car racing? I think maybe she knew I used to become a car racer back then”, Yuri said.

 

“You’re right, Yuri ssi. Yoona once told me that she really admire you. She wanted to become a car racer just like you. She loves sports car, just like her father. But, unfortunately Mr. Im doesn’t support her interest, and he wanted Yoona to inherit his business someday. Yoona was not interested with his father’s business, and that’s why she started to become rebellious by involving in illegal car racing”, Yoojin replied.

 

“Aishh.. I just know about this, Yoojin ssi. If I knew it earlier..”, Yuri’s voice trailed off when suddenly she heard a soft groan coming from Yoona.

 

“Yoojin unnie, is that you?”, Yoona said with a weak voice.

 

“Yes, Yoong. Stay right there, don’t get up”, Yoojin replied as she rushed towards the bed.

 

“I want water, unnie”, she said while trying to get up.

 

“Alright. Don’t get up, just lying there. I will get you a glass of water”, Yoojin said as she quickly took an empty glass and pour the clear liquid inside. Yoona was struggling to get up using her free arm since the other arm was broken. She was about to stack her pillow when suddenly she felt someone took the pillow from her.

 

“Let me help you”, Yuri said. Yoona was startled to know it was Yuri who helped her.

 

“W-what are you doing here?”, she said as her voice turns into a cold tone.

 

“Yoona I’m so…”, Yuri was about to continue her words when suddenly Yoona cut her off.

 

“I don’t want to see you here. Get out!”, she exclaimed. Yoojin shook her head and sat next to Yoona on the bed.

 

“Yuri ssi, can you please leave us for a while?”, Yoojin said.

 

“Okay”, Yuri complied as she nodded and immediately walked towards the door to get out of the room.

 

After making sure Yuri was not in the room anymore, Yoojin took Yoona’s free hand and caressed it gently.

 

“Yoong ah, Yuri came here with me right after she got to know you had been admitted to the hospital because of the accident. That means, she’s really care for you”, Yoojin said softly to the furious girl in front of her. She knew every time Yoona was fuming over something, she’s the only one who could console her. She's fragile because of lack of love since childhood. She loves Yoona just like her own little sister.

 

“She hurt my heart, unnie. I will never forgive her”, she said as her voice started to crack. Yoojin let out a smile, and patted her hand gently.

 

“She didn’t know about your past, sweetie. After I told her about you, she seems like to slowly understand about you now, especially when she now knowing that you like her”, Yoojin said, causing Yoona to widen her eyes in surprise.

 

“Yah, unnie! Why did you tell her about that?”, she whined as her face turns red due to the embarrassment. Yoojin chuckled while looking at the latter in amuse.

 

“Mianhae. If I didn’t tell her right now, then when are you going to tell her, huh? I know you well, Yoong. You need a middle person like me to make your wish comes true, you know”, she said teasingly.

 

“Aishh.. shut up, unnie!”, she replied, buried her face on the pillow. Yoojin laughed at her childish act.

 

“Yoong ah”, she patted on Yoona’s thigh, wanting the girl to pay attention to her. Yoona immediately looked at her.

 

“Talk nicely to Yuri, okay? She came here to apologize about what she had done to you two days ago. She left her work just because she wanted to know about your condition. She’s a nice girl, Yoong ah. Do it for me, okay?”, Yoojin said as she got up from the bed.

 

“Unnie, where are you going?”, Yoona asked as she looked at the latter.

 

“I will be at outside. I will leave you two to settle the matter”, she replied.

 

“Don’t leave me here. I-I don’t know what to say to her”, she begged.

 

“You have already grown up, Yoong. Just face her like a mature girl, will you? I will wait outside, okay?”, Yoojin said as she smiled, and casually walked towards the door.

 

“Aishh.. how could you, unnie!”, she groaned. Not long after, she heard the door open, and she knew it must be Yuri who entered the room. She couldn’t help but to feel her heart race the moment Yuri walking towards the bed.

 

“Ermm.. h-hi Yoona!”, she greeted her while smiling awkwardly. Yoona kept her straight face while looking at her.

 

“Anja (sit)!”, she said while pointing the space next to her on the bed. Yuri complied as she walked closer and sat on the space on the bed where Yoona was pointed earlier.

 

“So, what is it that you want to talk?”, she asked still with her straight face. Yuri gulped before she started to speak.

 

“I.. I come here to apologize for what I have said to you earlier”, she said as she lowered her head, staring at the floor.

 

“Aww.. you’re so cute when you did like that you know, Kwon Yuri”, she thought with a smile.

 

“What if I don’t want to accept your apology?”, she replied with a straight face. Yuri immediately turned to look at her.

 

“W-what do you mean?”, Yuri asked as she looked rather confused.

 

“I will accept your apology, but with one condition”, Yoona said.

 

“W-what is it?”, Yuri replied as she suddenly felt nervous.

 

“I want to challenge you to have a car race with me once I recovered from my injury. If I win, then I will forgive you”, Yoona said. Yuri’s eyes widened in surprise upon hearing Yoona’s words.

 

“Mworago?”

 

A month later

 

“Alright, ready?”, the track marshal shouted. Both Yoona and Yuri raised their thumbs up, indicating that they were ready to start the race. The marshal then raised the flag, and when the lights change into the green light, the marshal waving down the flag and both Yoona and Yuri started to accelerate their karts to race. Yes, Yoona decided to have the race at the go-karting track as she thought that it would minimize the risk of the accident if it happened since she just recovered from the injury she had a month ago. Yuri on the other hand, just shook her head in disbelief the moment Yoona voiced out her suggestion to have their race at the go-karting track. She doesn’t have a choice besides to agree with the latter’s suggestion as she doesn’t want to upset the latter, and she just wanted Yoona to accept her apology. She also planned to let Yoona win this race although she knew she could win it. She just wanted to make the girl happy.

 

“Alright Im Yoona, you can do it! Come on!”, she cheered for herself as she kept on accelerate the speed. Yuri on the other hand was still behind her, keeping her kart speed on a right limit. After completing four rounds of the track, Yoona finally won the race.

 

“Yes! I win! I win!”, she shouted happily while jumping up and down like a small kid. She opened her helmet and walked towards Yuri’s kart. She got out of the kart, and opened her helmet. She shook her head, and fixed her hair like a model in a shampoo commercial film. Yoona stopped walking and froze at her spot. agape as she was mesmerized with the tan girl’s beauty.

 

“Why you have to be so gorgeous, Kwon Yuri?”, she thought.

 

“Yes, I know you win, Im Yoona, but can you please close your mouth? Bugs will fly into it later”, she said as she chuckled. Yoona startled and cleared as she began to walk towards her. She could feel the heat on her face due to the embarrassment.

 

“So, since you’re already win the race, am I forgiven?”, Yuri asked. Both of them were facing each other. Yoona couldn’t hold herself as she grabbed Yuri by her shoulder and crashed her lips on hers. Yuri was shocked as she froze on her spot, and didn’t move her lips. Yoona who realized on her sudden act, quickly pulled off the kiss and bowed to her.

 

“I-I’m sorry. Y-you’re forgiven. I-I’ll see you around”, she said as she turned at the back and fasten her walking pace to the admin office. Yuri snapped out from her daze, and quickly ran towards Yoona.

 

“Yoona wait!”, she shouted. Yoona just kept walking, but then Yuri managed to grab her arm, causing the latter to stop walking. She just lowered her head as she didn’t dare to look at the latter. Yuri grabbed her both arms, and pulled closer to her.

 

“Hey, look at me”, she said as her voice soften.

 

“I’m sorry”, Yoona kept apologized as she still lowered her head.

 

“Im Yoona, look at me”, this time she said in a straight voice. Yoona immediately lifted her head. Yuri leaned in, and pressed her lips on Yoona’s lips. Yoona was startled at first, but she realized at that moment, Yuri has the same feeling as hers, and she returned the kiss. She slowly wrapped her arms around Yuri’s waist, and began to deepen the kiss. Yuri put her arms around Yoona’s neck, and both of them lost in their kisses as it become passionate. A few moment later, they pulled off the kiss, gasping for an air to breathe.

 

“I’m sorry”, they said in unison. Both of them laughed as they found it funny.

 

“Who should apologize to whom?”, Yoona said as both of them still in their hugging position.

 

“It doesn’t matter right now. Both of us are already forgiven”, Yuri said while pressing their forehead together.

 

“A month not seeing each other really makes you realized that you have the same feeling as mine, huh?”, Yoona replied teasingly. Yuri slapped her arm, causing Yoona to chuckle. “Thank  you”, Yoona said.

 

“For what?”, Yuri replied as she furrowed her brows.

 

“For giving me a green light”, she said. Yuri looked at her rather confused.

 

“A green light?”, she asked. Yoona smiled and tighten the hug.

 

“A green light to enter your heart”, she whispered into her ear before she pulled off the hug. She casually walked away from her with a smile.

 

“Yah! Im Yoona! That’s so cheesy, you know!”, Yuri exclaimed, causing Yoona to laugh. Yuri ran towards her and she hugged her from behind before she lifted her.

“Yah! Put me down!”, Yoona exclaimed. Yuri quickly put her down and laughed. Both of them entwined their hands together and walked towards the admin office as a new madly-in-love couple.
