Annyeonghaseyo dasom ibnida. I am 18 this year and I am half vampire half sorceress, a hybrid. Well the people in this kingdom don’t really like hybrids since they are not pure like the pure bloods, so it is used to be quite common for parents to abandon their hybrid children in the past, well until the king announced that his children were all hybrids, being half vampire and half werewolf. From then on, the people stopped abandoning their hybrid children, although there is always this smug superiority look in the eyes of those pure blooded ones whenever they look at us hybrids. But unlucky, or maybe lucky me since all they did was hit and cane me, got abandoned by my own parents before the king made in the announcement when I was 4 and left in the forest to die. However, I was saved by a random kind-hearted passer-by who fed me then put me into an orphanage. Within half a year, I was adopted with another girl called jihyun by a couple who had two daughters named bora and hyojung. My parents are both pure blood vampires but had no children of their own, so they adopted us girls. Since it was rare for pure bloods to be in an orphanage and they did not bear any grudges against hybrids, they took us all in and loved us like their own, although when adopting their condition was that their children must be part vampire. So my appa is a wealthy businessman and my omma is a scientist professor at the vampire college. We are the upper class in the kingdom since we are rich so we have to marry someone of equal or higher status. At first we were all worried that we would have to share a mate, but because we are not related by blood, it would be quite impossible for it to happen.

So now that I have told you about my parents, let me tell you about my 3 older unnies. We call ourselves Sistar and my sisters are yoon bora, kim hyojung AKA hyorin and kang ji hyun AKA soyou aged 24, 23, 22 respectively. All of us are hybrids so we can empathise with each other when people look down on us for being a hybrid which is extremely rare in the upper class circle, with bora unnie being part vampire part fairy, hyorin unnie being part vampire part werewolf, soyou unnie being part vampire part sorceress just like me. Another similarity we, excluding hyorin unnie, her parents were murdered, all have in common is that we were all abandoned at a young age and left to die outside. With these similarities in our past, we grew up being very close to each other, with bora unnie being more protective of me while hyorin unnie would bully or prank me at times, but the closest to me was soyou unnie.
