The jerk and I walked together to the queen of exo kingdom, with me making sure that there is at least a metre distance between us. The queen was a rather small built lady, but she was nonetheless a very cheerful lady that greeted me warmly with a hug and compliments about my beauty although I knew that she didn’t fully mean what she said. She knows that I look super ugly like this. I can read minds remember? “What is your name dear?” “Kim dasom.” “What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl like you!” I just smiled at her and then she smiled back, after that she turned her eyes to the jerk beside me and said all elated, “wow son you finally found a girl this round. I was actually worried that you would go back home single again.” He just looked at her strangely then turned around to look for his other brothers and maybe admire some girls, leaving me standing there all embarrassed, awkward and alone. Now I totally regret pulling off an outfit like this. My plan to not attract any guys not only backfired, it has made me a laughing stock as well. I would have been able to stand here with some dignity if I had worn what I would normally wear. The crowd of girls that had flocked to see the princes were all staring at me and then laughing their heads off, like I was a monkey in the zoo for an exhibition for people to gather round and look. ‘Jerk you are so dead for leaving me here all embarrassed’. Nearby, I could hear the jerk talking with some of his brothers with girls that were like leaches hanging onto them. “Kris hyung, did you lose your mind or something? I thought you would not bother looking at a girl if her skirt or dress was not half thigh and above.” The guy that looked like a panda said while laughing then glancing my way then continued laughing. The jerk just rolled his eyes and the guy on the left on the panda’s left continued, “I never knew that was the kind of girls you were interested in. But I think if you head down to the farm, you would at least find someone with a much prettier face than her.” He was doe-eyed that made him look like a deer, but his laugh and smile was creeping me out. Wait wasn’t he the one who had the girl hanging onto him? Then right next to him I spotted her. She scoffed at me, then kissed the guy on his cheek before sashaying her way to me. “You.” She glared at me. “Are you talking to me?” I pointed to myself as I glared back at her. I definitely won’t let her have the upper hand. She returned me a duh look then said “Are you not only ugly but dumb as well? Can’t you see that all these oppas need girls like me who are pretty and smart? How did you come here with kris oppa? Did you threaten him or cast a spell on him?” Just as I opened my mouth was about to reply with a sarcastic remark, she continued. “Why you hideous monster you deserve to die.” With that she slapped me and then used the glass of wine in her other hand to splash it on me. I just let her, although I was boiling on the inside and craving to just strangle her to death. I will get back at you one day miss whatever your name is. Now I was standing there soaking wet with wine, feeling super embarrassed and the whole group of girls just standing there and laughing and jeering at me. “Hah, you deserved that for stealing our oppa.” “Why is that lady so kind? I would have just maybe killed this loser over here.”

I frantically stood up to go to the nearest washroom but the moment I took my first step, someone stuck her foot out and I lost balance and landed on the floor with an ungraceful thud. I am sure my mother would have berated me for being so unlady-like right now if she saw me in this state. “Omo are you alright?” I looked up to see an angel, no wait a girl but she was very pretty. She had jet black hair that was braided up, fair skin, big eyes, round and button like nose and a small and pink lips. She reached out her hand to me and helped me up to my feet. “Thank you…” I looked at her, hinting at her for her name. “How not polite of me to introduce myself. I’m Kim Hana and I going to be 19 three months from now.” She smiled at me with such care in her eyes, 180 degrees different from that monster just now that slapped me. “Oh we are the same age! I am Kim Dasom and I am 18 years old too.” Maybe I should make friends with her, she seems nice. “Now let’s get you cleaned up.” She dragged me through the crowd to bring me to the washroom. Once inside, I noticed that she was wearing a lacy white dress that ended just above her knees, paired with white flats that were laced as well and a ribbon on top. She then told me to stay put while she goes to find a cloth to help me clean my smudged makeup. She reminded me of my sisters when they would take care of me especially when I fell down when I was younger.
