Kiseop kept silent, staring at the stern look on AJ’s face. Just when he thought things between them were finally looking up, it took another turn for the worst.

“What are you doing here?” AJ asked. Kiseop had never heard AJ speak in such a venomous tone before and it really did frighten him.

The man just smirked at them. “I came here for dinner. I was about to leave when I saw you two so I thought it would be appropriate to come say hello. By the way, welcome home AJ.”

AJ rolled his eyes, he couldn’t help but hear the mockery in the other man’s voice. “Kyungmin, I thought I made myself very clear before that you are not to come anywhere near Kiseop.”

“I’m not too thrilled about seeing you either AJ, believe me, but I couldn’t help but notice the teary moment that the two of you were having. I guess Kiseop decided to tell you everything huh?”

AJ furrowed his eyebrows, he looked at Kiseop who was still in shock, and then back up to Kyungmin. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?”

Kyungmin. “Oh! My bad! Guess he didn’t then.”

“Kiseop, what is this bastard on about?”

“Come on AJ, don’t tell me you’re actually going to believe this guy?” Kiseop responded. “He’s just winding you up.”

Park Kyungmin was a constant thorn in the backside to both Kiseop and AJ. To put it briefly, if Kiseop were to choose between a thousand screaming fangirls or one Park Kyungmin, he’d choose the fangirls. Kyungmin had an unhealthy obsession with Kiseop which had started back before his idol debut. Kiseop used to run a blog that became famous quite fast due to his popularity of being and ulzzang, while Kiseop had a strong female fan base on his blog there was one subscriber to his blog that sparked an interest to him; username: Krazy4Kiseop. While Kiseop was a nice guy who tried to respond to as many comments as he could on his blog, he couldn’t help but want to talk to whoever this Krazy4Kiseop person was and always looked forward to hearing whatever he had to say. A few months later, Krazy4Kiseop confessed that he was in fact a guy named Kyungmin and that he was scared that Kiseop would look at him differently. Kiseop couldn’t help but admire his bravery and told him that it was okay since Kiseop was into guys too and the two of them became fast friends.

While Kiseop only saw Kyungmin as a friend, the other saw him as something more. Kyungmin wore his heart on his sleeve and wasn’t afraid of hiding his feelings for Kiseop. Even after Kiseop declined Kyungmin’s proposal to be his boyfriend, the two still remained friends, until Kiseop became a trainee and then everything changed. After Kiseop had moved into the city to be closer the agency, they still kept in contact as best as they could, but as the months went on due to his training he was hardly posting anything on his blog and was always too exhausted to respond to Kyungmin’s calls or texts. One day while Kiseop had a day off, he decided to check back in on his blog to let his subscribers know about life as a trainee. Kiseop wasn’t at all surprised by the number of messages he had received from people asking him where he was and if he was okay, but as he scrolled through the page the was one name that once again caught his attention- Krazy4Kiseop. At first the messages were sweet ones like ‘can’t wait for you to start posting again’ or ‘I found this old picture you shared, thought you could use a laugh’ but then the comments started to change, ‘Kiseop, I called you today but you didn’t answer’ or ‘are you seeing someone, because if you are…’ or ‘don’t you dare try and ignore me Kiseop, nobody ignores me’.  From their private conversations in the past, Kiseop knew that Kyungmin was a sensitive guy and could understand why he felt the way that he did and made an effort to apologise to him, until the same thing happened again. More and more comments were being left on his blog by Kyungmin and he had even exploded Kiseop’s phone with calls and texts. A year later when Kiseop was introduced as the seventh member of UKISS, he made the smart decision to delete his blog and change his mobile number. But that didn’t stop Kyungmin, nothing ever did.

“You’re right. I don’t know why I let this piece of trash get to me.” AJ said rubbing his temple. “Come on, let’s go.” Kiseop nodded and the two walked towards the exit.

“Oh Kiseop!” Kyungmin exclaimed.

Kiseop sighed and turned around. “What?”

“I have something for you.”

AJ and Kiseop watched as Kyungmin fished something out from the inside pocket of his jacket. Finally he pulled out what seemed to be a long dark silver necklace with a small pendant attached to it.

“That’s my…my…” Kiseop stuttered as he watched the chain dangle from Kyungmin’s hand.

AJ started to feel sick. “I thought you said that you lost that necklace?”

Kiseop turned around and looked at AJ, the stone expression on his face haunting him. “I did lose it! But that was months ago.”

“Then how is it that he happens to have found it?”

“I- I don’t know…” Kiseop whispered. Kiseop was at a complete loss for words, that necklace in particular was his all-time favourite piece of jewellery and it was a special gift from AJ himself. Kiseop wore that necklace every single day and was absolutely gutted when he lost it. So much so that Kiseop was terrified to tell AJ that it was gone, that it reduced him to tears.

“When did you find this?” AJ asked.

“Hmm, I was doing some spring cleaning around my apartment a few months back and I found it behind my bed. I kept it with me whenever I went out, just on the off chance I’d bump into you Kiseop. I know how much you loved this necklace.”

“What?” AJ managed to whisper.

“No, AJ, it’s not what you think!” Kiseop said pleadingly. “You have to believe me!”

AJ felt sick. He knew that kind of reputation Kyungmin had, he’s been used to it for years. But then again he was gone for a year and he had no idea what Kiseop was doing. AJ knew of the history between the two, and while they never dated and Kiseop never showed any affection towards Kyungmin, he knew that just like Kyungmin, Kiseop was also very vulnerable and with AJ acting like a drama queen and shutting him out, it made perfect sense for Kiseop to turn to someone who would be there for him.

“AJ please look at me!” Kiseop said grabbing onto AJ’s hands tightly.

“I have to go.” AJ whispered storming out of the restaurant.

“Please! Don’t do this!” Kiseop said, not caring about the other people who all started to watch them.

“Don’t follow me.” AJ replied and ran out of sight.

“I could kill that guy!!” Soohyun exclaimed, pacing back and forth in the lounge room. Kiseop had been the first one to return home and informed the rest of the group about what had happened at the restaurant.

“AJ’s still not answering his phone.” Eli said, throwing his phone on the coffee table.

“Everything was going so well, we we’re finally happy.” Kiseop murmured, his head buried into Hoon’s shoulder.

“Come on Kiseopie, we know that you would never cheat on AJ, this is all Kyungmin’s doing.” Kevin said from the kitchen who was making a cup of tea for Kiseop.

“Yeah, Kevin’s right. We all know that Kyungmin is a psycho and how much he hates Jaeseop.” Hoon said.

Kiseop lifted his head off Hoon’s shoulder and wiped his eyes. “But then why doesn’t AJ see it too?”

“He’s just scared,” said Soohyun, “I’m sure he’ll come around, Jaeseop’s a smart man.”

Two hours later, the members were disrupted from their movie by a loud banging on the front door.

“I’ll get it.” Eli said walking towards the door. “AJ?”

“Heeyyy pigeeooon!” AJ slurred as he stumbled into the room.

“What the hell happened to you?” Eli said grabbing AJ’s shoulder’s to hold him up.

“I’m finneeee!” AJ responded.

Eli scrunched his face as he could smell the vodka all over him, AJ turned his head and Eli noticed the blood coming out of AJ’s lip. “AJ seriously, what the happened.”

“I fell in love! That’s what happened!” AJ exclaimed as he stumbled into the living room. “Heeeey my brotheerrrsssss!”

“Oh my God AJ!” exclaimed Kevin in concern. “I’ll go get the medical kit.”

“Nooo! I’m fine!” AJ replied. “Just fine!”

“You have a busted lip and a black eye, you are far from fine!” scolded Hoon.

“Where have you been?” asked Soohyun who was beginning to get agitated.

“Getting my kicked.” AJ shrugged,

“What? By who?” Soohyun asked.

“That ing Kyungmin…”

“What?!” Kiseop exclaimed. “He did this to you?”

AJ finally noticed Kiseop in the room. “Yeah…”

“I’m so sorry AJ.” Kiseop said.

“Why? You have nothing to be sorry for. In fact, I’m glad he punched me.”

“I don’t understand.”

“The er knocked some sense into me. He made me realise how much I took you for granted, how much I-“

“AJ stop!” Kiseop said. “We’ve already talked about this! I don’t care about any of that, I love you and only you. You know Kyungmin is just trying to pull your strings. Please don’t tell me that you believe him!”

AJ sat there silently staring at the floor, he didn’t know anymore. For so many years he knew the strong hatred Kyungmin had for AJ, all because AJ held a part of Kiseop that Kyungmin had yearned for. It was Kyungmin’s mission in life to pry the two apart. Kiseop stared at AJ as he was debated his feelings, Kiseop had a hunch that AJ had already made up his mind.

“I don’t know what to believe anymore.” AJ whispered.

“You can believe me!” Kiseop said placing his hands on either side of AJ’s cheeks. “You have to believe me!”

“But how did he find your necklace behind his bed?”

“I don’t know! I swear to you, I would never willingly visit him, let alone go to his house!” AJ let out a staggered breath. “Please AJ! What about what you said before about wanting to be happy. Please don’t tell me that a psycho stalker is enough to break us?”

“Kiseop, I’m sorry…” AJ sobbed. “I don’t know why I doubted you.” Kiseop smiled and pulled the younger man into his embrace.
