Seungcheol didn’t know his name, but he wanted to. It was weird, finding himself mesmerized by a complete stranger. It was summer, he was at the beach, his other friends were having fun, and yet there he was- sitting next to the sea, watching the boy with pink hair collect sea shells on the shore. 

He’s been at it for an hour now. Sometimes, he would stop to stand in the water. Sometimes, he would kick sand around. Seungcheol noticed him the moment he arrived, because who doesn’t miss pink hair? He wondered whether the other boy was feeling warm dressed in an oversized sweater. Maybe it was better than getting tanned under the sun. His skin was fair enough to rival the beach’s white sand.

Seungcheol didn’t know how many minutes passed by. He didn’t know where his friends went either. It should have concerned him, since Wonwoo was the one with the beach house and Mingyu provided the car ride and they could leave anytime. He realized it didn’t matter because the pink haired boy was standing in front of him, bucket of shells behind him. 

“Do you mind if I look around your area?”

“Go ahead," he gestured around him. "It’s not my beach anyway.”
