PERSONALITY Meet Do Yeonhui, the most affectionate person you will ever meet. She hates being lonely, she is a natural friendly person, she basically survives off of other people. And because of this, Yeonhui is very loyal. Once she befriends you, you can expect her to be there for you 24/7. She is with you through thick and thin. Yeonhui can come off as childish in most cases, though that is actually not that true. Yeonhui is actually pretty responsible, she follows the rules with no questions asked. She also knows what's wrong and right, as that was how she was raised. She tends to also be very enthusiastic, but not about everything. Once she finds an interest in a project, she will not stop until she is done. That's why she is one of the hardest workers in the group, she loves to make everything perfect, and won't stop until she is satisfied with herself.
Yeonhui can be a tedious person, as she just always talks. It’s mostly the impulsiveness in her, but you can count on her for not having a dull moment in your life. However, Yeonhui can go on and on about one tiniest thing, especially when she is nervous, needing someone else to shut her up. BACKGROUND Do Yeonhui was born on March 14th, 1997 to Do Sanghun and Bang Inha in the outskirts of Seoul; Yongin, South Korea to be exact. Her father is an engineer and her mother is a librarian at a local library. She was an only child up until the age of 9, when her brother, Do Minhwan was born. Then again at the age of 11, when her sister Do Sunhye was born.
Yeonhui's life was fairly normal, and she was a very active child, always playing outside with her neighborhood friends, either playing soccer, running around, going house to house caroling in the middle of the summer, or bicycling on the neighborhood path. However, that all changed when she was 7.
Yeonhui was bicycling on the neighborhood path with a couple of her friends, seeing who can reach the end first. Yeonhui was so eager to win this race that she did not notice a reasonably sized rock that was in her way. Of course, she crashed into the rock and fell head first into the grass. She fell into a concussion, and woke up in the hospital with the worst pain she had ever felt. Her right ankle was blue and twice the normal size of it, the doctors were astonished when they saw her ankle. She needed surgery on her ankle, which she obliged to. A few months passed by and her ankle wasn't healing, so they did the surgery again.
About a year passed by and the ankle wasn't healing, only to cause Yeonhui pain to the point where she couldn't walk. It came to the point where surgery wasn't an option anymore, and the best decision is to amputate her ankle. Of course, this was a horrifying time for her and her family. Not only would it affect Yeonhui's physical life from now on, but it would also put the family in an unlikely financial situation since Yeonhui would often need a new prosthetic as she would get older in the future. Nevertheless, Yeonhui's parents manage to get money for their daughter's surgery and prosthetics. And just like that, Do Yeonhui beloved right ankle was gone at the age of 9. Of course, it wasn't easy for a 9 year old to adjust to her new lifestyle, and just as you thought, she did get bullied a lot in school.
And unfortunately for Yeonhui, she got diagnosed with depression soon after that. Her depression wasn't as bad as she didn't want to end her life, but there were days where she felt like giving up, as well as some days where she didn't go to school. While she was in the recovery process from her ankle, she had a lot of free time to pick up some hobbies. She enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, gaming, drawing, and of course, listening to music. During recovery, she listened to music a lot to keep her mind off some stuff. Overtime, she took an interest in music, even writing some songs of her own.
Yeonhui now had a passion in life; music. Being an idol was definitely not her first choice; but it was a start. There was no way in hell that her parents were going to let their daughter become a trainee, but they did let her move to Seoul with her aunt to attend Seoul High School of Performing Arts, otherwise known as SOPA. From there, her aunt would let her audition for companies without Yeonhui's parents permission, only to be rejected by many of them until finally being accepted into MIK Entertainment in 2019.

TRAINEE LIFE 9 Months at MIK Entertainment.
✧ Ah yes, the dreaded trainee life. All trainees have had a hard time, of course, but for Yeonhui it was different to say the least. Her singing skills were pretty average, she knew that if she was ever going to be put into a group she wouldn't be a main vocalist, so you could imagine her face when she was chosen for the main vocalist position for Razzle Dazzle. She couldn't rap to save her life, but she was amazed at how the rap-focused trainees did it.
And now arguably the most important one; dancing. She had a particularly bad time with this one because, well, of her disability but that didn't stop her from keeping on practicing. She can stand for a reasonably long time before her leg would start to ache, and prancing around the room wouldn't be helpful. Yet, she somehow managed to get past the monthly evaluations despite her lack of dancing.
Many people say that MIK accepted her into the company out of pity, and others say it was to show how diverse the company is. In truth, Yeonhui didn't really care as to why MIK accepted her; she was grateful to even get in. She did have a hard time making friends with the fellow trainees. The competition was already at a high, and the addition of being disabled added a new stress to Yeonhui. She mostly kept to herself, trying to ignore any passive aggressive comments from the other trainees.
Nevertheless, Yeonhui persevered through the scrutiny and ended up being lucky enough to be in the final line up of Razzle Dazzle.

✧ Ah yes, the dreaded trainee life. All trainees have had a hard time, of course, but for Yeonhui it was different to say the least. Her singing skills were pretty average, she knew that if she was ever going to be put into a group she wouldn't be a main vocalist, so you could imagine her face when she was chosen for the main vocalist position for Razzle Dazzle. She couldn't rap to save her life, but she was amazed at how the rap-focused trainees did it.
And now arguably the most important one; dancing. She had a particularly bad time with this one because, well, of her disability but that didn't stop her from keeping on practicing. She can stand for a reasonably long time before her leg would start to ache, and prancing around the room wouldn't be helpful. Yet, she somehow managed to get past the monthly evaluations despite her lack of dancing.
Many people say that MIK accepted her into the company out of pity, and others say it was to show how diverse the company is. In truth, Yeonhui didn't really care as to why MIK accepted her; she was grateful to even get in. She did have a hard time making friends with the fellow trainees. The competition was already at a high, and the addition of being disabled added a new stress to Yeonhui. She mostly kept to herself, trying to ignore any passive aggressive comments from the other trainees.
Nevertheless, Yeonhui persevered through the scrutiny and ended up being lucky enough to be in the final line up of Razzle Dazzle.

BACKGROUND Taegeun would not mention this to Yeonhui until they properly had their first meeting, but the two actually had a meet-cute back in 2019, when Yeonhui was a trainee and freshly picked for the new girl group.

That same day, MIK also had a meeting with Yeonhui about the further discussion of having a service dog and officially meeting the dog, Rudi.
Long story short, the two had encountered each other in between meetings and quickly greeted each other, as Yeonhui recognized him from television. Although Taegeun didn't sign with MIK and continued at his current company, Yeonhui did come to mind when he was making his final decision, while Yeonhui herself forgot about that encounter because she was busy with MIK Girlz.
As time passed, Razzle Dazzle debuted and the group promptly appeared in variety shows to gain more popularity. So naturally, they were guests on an episode of a show that was hosted by Taegeun himself and others.
However, prior to filming, Razzle Dazzle's episode of another variety show aired, particularly the one where the MCs were harassing Yeonhui. Because of this, she became a little more timid and not her usual self the first half of filming.
