PERSONALITYΒ Responsible and caring : Yeolmae is someone who wants to take care of others, particularly those younger than her. She sees all the members of Razle Dazzle as her family and looks out for them and keeps them out of trouble.. BACKGROUND Yeolmae was born in 1997 to an upper middle class family and had a relatively normal early childhood. When she went to kindergarten, she became best friends with her desk partner, and they remained best friends to adulthood. It was also when she was in kindergarten that Yeolmae discovered her love for dance through the yearly performance showcases graduation ceremonies. Yeolmae enjoyed moving around and knowing people were watching her.
When Yeolmae was ten years old, she became a fan of SNSD after hearing Into The New World on the radio, and she became inspired to be an idol because of them. She also later discovered several other K-pop groups, and would participate in her school talent shows performing dance numbers. Yeolmae started auditioning for companies at the age of 16 in 2013, and in the same year was accepted to Cube Entertainment.
While she was a trainee, Yeolmae's best friend became pregnant and had a baby girl called Aeri, becoming a single mother. Her best friend later unfortunately passed away along with her parents in a car accident in 2016. In Yeolmae's best friend's will, she had assigned the former as the legal guardian of Aeri. Thus, Yeolmae became a single mother while also being a trainee, which was too hard for her to balance and she eventually dropped out of Cube's trainee programme.
