Happy Halloween! I really wish I managed to do something interesting for you guys but I didn't get the chance to in time for today, unfortunately (maybe Christmas!). On the other hand, I did finish up a few features some of you have been asking for.

As of right around when I post this blog, you should be able to both see who has subscribed to you (as an author or blogger) and you should also be able to see who you've subscribed to. I've also renamed "Subscribe to Author" and "Subscribe to Blogs" to "Follow stories" and "Follow blogs" mostly because it was confusing to some but also because it fit the screen better. Hence, your profile navs now have Stories->Following and Blog->Following sections.

Also, I did a bit more work on your privacy settings and I've now ensured that when you block someone, it also makes them un-follow your new stories and blog posts. It's not like they could read your stuff before but now it forces them to un-follow you as well.

Lastly, you also won't get double alerts for the same blog post anymore from someone who is both your friend as well as someone whose blogs you follow. You'll always either get one or the other. I know I always got annoyed when I get two new blog post alerts when it's actually just one post from the same person.

I know, not too interesting, but they've been languishing in my to-do list for the better part of the year and I think some of you would find them useful.

If you guys find any issues or bugs with these, let me know. Sometimes people think I come up with some insidious new feature designed to ruin Asianfanfics when it's actually just some bug I didn't know about until someone told me about it so don't be afraid to let me know if you find one! I'm not completely evil, even on Halloween.
