The hallway was pitched black and not a single sound was heard. You hugged Kris's arm and walked closely behind him. You jumped after hearing the door slamming. "I-I don't think it was a good idea to come in here..." you bit your lower lip and looked around. Kris wasn't scared but he was nervous. He still didn't know how to confess to you but he knew he had to. "Don't worry, I'm here..." he wrapped an arm securely around you and pulled you closer.

Kris looked around the hallway and grew confused. *Shouldn't there be some kinda ghost popping up right now? Oh well, the quiet is better than distraction.* Kris stopped in the middle of the hallway and faced you. You gave him a confused look. "Is something wrong?" you asked. *Here's go nothing...* Kris breathed and looked straight into your eyes.

"Ying Qing Yu..." he started. You were a bit shocked that he called your full name. He opened his eyes and looked at you but before he could continued, you notice hands poked out of nowhere with knifes and screamed.

Kris felt his body stiffened and quickly turned around, grabbing the stranger's hand with the knife. He knocked the knife out of the hand and broke the stranger's wrist. The person screamed in pain. He turned around and grabbed your hand. "Come on...let's get out of here!"
