Throughout the event, Kris introduced a lot of mafia leaders to you. After talking to the Lion mafia leader, your feet were aching in pain. “Well, well, well. What do we have here?” a deep dark voice spoke from behind. Kris turned around and mentally growled at the person. “Wong David.” Kris faked a smile but his eyes were hard.

“Long time no see, Wu Fan.” David smirked and shifted his gaze to you who were blinking in confusion. “And you must be Kris’s girl that everyone is talking about…” his smirk grew as he held out his hand. You snapped out of confusion and smiled politely as you shook his hand. David held onto your hand tightly as he introduced himself. “Ni hao, My name is Wong David. Kris fumed and gently but forcefully pulled your hand out of his grip. “Sorry, my girlfriend is tired after talking to so many people. She needs to sit down now.” Kris forced a smile, grabbed your wrist and dragged you away. David smirked and walked off. Kris slipped his hand down to your hand and laced them together. You flushed at his sudden action but didn’t dare spoke.

Kris dragged the both of you out of the luxury ballroom and into the garden. You looked around the scenery in amazed but you stopped when you felt a circular movement on the back of your hand.
