I’m Better with you

Yonghwa rushed to room number 6002. All he could think is how stupid he was abandoned seohyun and let her freezing last night.

Flashback

Jonghyun entered Yonghwa café and found his brother sit in the chair with cup of coffee. He then sit front of him

“Hyung, I’ve heard that you never come to club again” jonghyun said

“Yeah, something comes up” he said

“Oh than God” he said. “Yah hyung, I have a question”

“What ?”

“Are you fine ?” he asked.

“Not really”

“Why ?”

“I’ve found the girl I helped”

“Oh your angel ?”

“Yes, my Angel”

“Then ?”

“I don’t know, I felt so confused. In one side I’m happy that I found her already, but in the other side, I felt hate her, because of her, we lost our mother” yonghwa said and sipped his coffee.

“Hyung… I thought you already get over eomma ?”

“I’m” yonghwa tap mouth of glass “But, it just felt hurts”

“Hyung, Its not her fault” Jonghyun said “Enough now, you’ve found her, so what’s now ?You met her and eomma died is God decision. You couldn’t forced and choose what would happen” jonghyun continue “I want you to be happy, please forgive yourself. Everyone missed eomma, but everyone also want you to be happy”.

Yonghwa look at his brother again. Be happy ? “Just Met her before everything too late” jonghyun added.

End of flashback

Too late ? Is he too late now ?

Would Seohyun forgive him now ?

Yonghwa slid the door and saw hyoyeon reading magazine beside seohyun body who lying in bed. Yonghwa saw that again, the one he loved in the bed lifelessly. Hyoyeon saw yonghwa and her face change all of sudden.

He come closer to saw seohyun. He saw her face so pale, her lips almost in purple, her tip of finger are colored dark blue due to her frozen. She look like a snow white now.  He saw her left hand holding his handkerchief.

“She hold your handkerchief so tightly and its hard to remove that from her hand” hyoyeon said from behind.  “Her condition unstable since yesterday. She kept calling your name in her sleep”.

“I’m sorry” yonghwa said. His eyes already watered.  “I promise, she’ll be happy after this”

“Just… Just please promise me, this is the last time you made her suffer” hyoyeon said and patted yonghwa shoulder.

“I will” yonghwa smile to hyoyeon. The woman then leave seohyun to yonghwa. After hyoyeon gone, Yonghwa pulled a chair and sit beside her “Hi, angel” he spoke.

He took seohyun hand and kiss her hand lovingly. “Why you keep waiting for me there ? Huh ?” he asked. He then rubber her hand in quick pace and kiss that repeatedly until it feels warm enough. The blue in her finger started to loose. “Wake up, angel. I beg you, please wake up. I want see that sparks eyes again, I want hear your laugh, your nag” yonghwa laugh bitterly. “I promise you, I’ll sleep everyday at your apartment and hug you, I promise never drink anymore and went to club, i….i will throw my cigars away, made you that pasta you loved, let you stay at my café, eat my breakfast, I ‘ll do everything for you. Please wake up. You’re my love light, please wake up. I’m nothing without you, I’m better with you, seohyun-ah” he said and then he sobbing hard.

“Seohyun-ah, mianhe… mianhe my angel… Woke up” he said “I couldn’t bear losing you again” he said and then he sobbed again. “I’m sorry seohyun-ah”.

Yonghwa opened his eyes. He felt his hair already caress lovingly by someone. He raise his head and saw seohyun smiling to him. He then laugh in relief and cry too. “Oppa.. you’ve come ?” she asked.

“Hyun..” yonghwa said and caress her cheek lovingly.

“Where have you been ?” she said weakly.  “I’m waiting for you there”.

“You stubborn woman, you could just go home”

“I’m waiting for you, because I know you’ll came. See, you came too right ?” she said

“But I’m not come to the park”

“That’s okay, as long as you’re come”

“Oh God” he said and crying “I’m sorry” yonghwa caress her face lovingly.

“Oppa, what happened with your face ?” she asked touch yonghwa bruise. “Are you fighting ?”

“Aniyaa~” yonghwa took her hand and kiss that “Your brother hit me pretty hard” he said.

“I don’t have any brother” she said.

“Eh ? But he said he’s your brother ?”

“How do he look ?”

“He’s tall is almost same with me, he got a small eyes, a white skin and he looked older than me”

“Ah, that’s Wooyoung Oppa, he’s my brother in law” seohyun explain and laugh “He know me from I was child so he look me as his real sister”. Yonghwa just let out a Big O.“He came to your café ?” yonghwa just nodded “Mianhe oppa” she said in sad tone “Because of me your lips bruise now” she said.

Yonghwa chukled. “Its okay, compared to you, my condition is nothing” he said “You also like this because of me, such a jerk”. Seohyun smile to him and unconsciously her tears felt down “Why are you crying ?”

“I felt bad for your mother, because of me” she said

“Shhh, that’s okay” yonghwa smile. “It’s a God way to made me Met you” yonghwa wiped her tears “For your information, I never regret to help you in that forest”. “I thank God that I found you” he continue.

“Thank you oppa” seohyun said

“For ?”

“For coming back to me” she said and laughing “I never regret help you in the bus stop that night”

“I love you, my Angel” he said and let that 3 word slipped from his mouth.

“I love you too, my Hero” she answer. With that yonghwa smile and stand up from his seat. He sit in the edge of the bed and kiss her lips slowly. He could felt her lips still freeze due to her hypothermia.

“You lips so cold” he murmured. Between her lips and made seohyun laugh softly. “Don’t worry I have good way to made it warm” he then kiss her again. Yonghwa titled his head and kiss her more deep. He her lips and made her giggle

“It tickles” seohyun said, but she like that anyway. She hung her hand in his neck and ruffled his back hair. Yonghwa nibbled her lower lips and she couldn’t help but let out a small hum from her lips, and that made yonghwa successfully grinning and kiss her lips again.

Suddenly a cough echoed in room. Yonghwa let go seohyun lips immediately and saw Hyoyeon with a doctor “Ah jessonghamnida” yonghwa said and bowed.

“I’m sorry but, could you continue that after seohyun checked ?” hyoyeon teasingly said

“Unniee~” seohyun whined cutely.

“So you guys okay now ?” said the woman who cry erlier. “I’m Taeyeon by the way. Seohyun eldest sister” she said and give yonghwa her hand

“Ah, jung yonghwa imnida” he said

“I’m sorry for my husband gift” she said referring to yonghwa bruises.

“That’s okay” yonghwa smile.

“Yeah ? Because you already kissed by my sister ?” hyoyeon teased again.

“Unnie, ah sinchaaa~” seohyun said and kick her blanket in shy.

Hyoyeon just laugh and got a light hit from taeyeon who also laugh. “Unnie come home now, eoh ? You have yonghwa, right ?” taeyeon said and come to seohyun after the doctor go away.  She come closer and kiss seohyun cheek.

“Eoh, unnie” seohyun smiled “Kiss Bomi for me”. After that hyoyeon come too and kiss seohyun cheek. The 2 sister of seohyun teased yonghwa and then go home.

Seohyun try to sit. But her back felt so in pain. She groan in pain and yonghwa run to her. “Yah yah” he said and help her sit. “What are you doing ?”

“I want sit, oppa” she said “My back felt numb”.

Yonghwa just shook his head and still hel her to sit down.  He then sit at the edge of her bed. “Why your parents don’t look you here ?” he asked all of sudden.

“My eomma died when I still in junior high school, and my father left us since I was born”

“I’m sorry” yonghwa said and rubbed her hand with his thumb “I’m here now, babe” he said.

Seohyun couldn’t help but blushing hear what yonghwa said. “Wae ? are you cold again ?” he asked.

“Aniyaa~” she said. “Call me that again ?”

“What ? Babe ?” he asked. Seohyun just giggled and palmed her face. Yonghwa heart beating fast. Oh how he loved her laugh voice. Its just like music. Yonghwa then took seohyun hand and opened her blushed face. “Baby” he said and pecked her lips “My baby” he pecked her again made her giggled more “Mine”. He said and his kiss went to her tip of nose. “I love you” he said and kiss her forehead. “Jeongmal saranghae, kim seohyun”

“Nado saranghae, Jung Yonghwa” seohyun said and cupped her cheek. “Sleep beside me” she asked.

“Okay” yonghwa nodded and help her body lying again in bed. “I miss cuddle with you either” he said and climbed to the bed. He place her right arm in her head and replacing her pillow. His left hand sweep her little body. Seohyun snuggled to his chest. The warmth she never get from anyone else.

“Tell me about yourself” seohyun said.

“Hm ?” yongwa looked down and seohyun looked up to meet his eyes. “But I’m not that interesting” said yonghwa and rub her cheek.

“That’s okay”

“Okay, I’m Jung Yonghwa, 30 years old, and then… I was a paramedic until 7 years ago. I started build my own café 5 years ago named Napoleon. I have a brother named Jonghyun and have a father who lived in busan now. I loved pasta, that’s why our special menu at Napoleon is Pasta” yonghwa explained.

“Oh, you’re 30 ? So we have 5 years different ages ?” seohyun blinked her eyes “You have same age with hyo unnie” seohyun said and doddle at his chest. “Continue”

“I played guitar, piano, and sing” yonghwa played with her finger “And, I have a beautiful girlfriend named, Kim Seohyun” he said and kiss her forehead “The stubborn woman that I loved”.

Seohyun giggled and yawning “Oppa” she said

“Hm ?”

“I’m scared”

“What ? Why ?”

“Last time we cuddle like this, I woke up and there’s no you” she said

“That wont happen again, baby. I’m here from now on” he assuring her.

“Promise ?”

“Promise, because I felt better with you” he said. “Sleep now”.

“Jalja oppa” seohyun said and hug him even tighter.

Lets hope tomorrow no separation anymore, because seohyun have no strength left in her body. It felt so sick without him. He’s her sunshine, and so with him.

1 year later.

Seohyun sit in the bus stop and rubbed her hand tightly. She waited for yonghwa who promised to meet at the bus stop, and then a taxi stopped, yonghwa come out. She looked at her bag, She still wondering why did he asked her to bring clother for 4 days ?

“Sorry I’m late” yonghwa said.

“That’s okay” seohyun look at her wristwatch and smile to him. She pecked his lips lovingly “You just late for 3 minutes”

“But still” yonghwa said and pecked her lips. “Sorry” he said. “Are you already bring everything I told you last night ?”

“Aye captain !” seohyun lifted her hand bag “But, where we going, oppa ?”

“Somewhere you’ll like” yonghwa said. “Kajja, we’re almost late”.

Yonghwa bring seohyun to airport and made her more confused. Where are they going ? Why using the plane ? Yonghwa made seohyun sit at the chair and he seems register something at locket. Still, she didn’t know where they would going.

Just then her phone started to beeped. Its soyou send seohyun a photo. She showing off that she now heading to Busan with her boyfriend. She snickered and close her phone. After that yonghwa came and give her a ticket. Seohyun read that and shocked “Oppa!!” she shouted

“Yah” yonghwa said “You want to see your boyfriend got heart attack ?”.

“Ah, mianhe” she said shyly. “Are you taking me to Jeju-do ?”

“Yeah, wae ? Shirro ?”

“Aniyaa~” seohyun giggled cutely. “I never been there before” she pouted. “I’m so happy being there with you”.

“Nado”

“Sincha ? You too ? never been there before ?”

“No, I’ve been there about 3 times, but I’m excited going there with you” he explain and kiss her hand. “Jonghyun already there with his girlfriend too”

“Oh yeah ?”

“Yes”

“Wuah, I’m excited” seohyun clasped her hand. “But oppa, how many days we stay at Jeju ?”

“Only 3 days 2 night”

“Oh, so thats why you asked me to bring clothes” seohyun said. "But why'd you asked me to bring clothes for 4 days"

"Just in case" yonghwa explained and seohyun just nodded.

 She then opened her phone and lean closer to yonghwa. “Oppa, lets take a picture” she said. Yonghwa leaned closer and place his head in seohyun head. “Hold your ticket, please” seohyun said and yonghw a just do that. 

She then send the photo to Soyou, and her unnies with caption ‘Going Jeju-do for the first time, with Oppa!’.

After she send that, there’s announcement their flight is ready. The couple then walk to the gate. Seohyun very excited about her first time in Jeju and first Christmas with Yonghwa.
