Yejin's unkempt brown hair was disgustingly stuck to her sweat covered form, the grease from her hair and the sweat from her skin swirling together and creating a nasty smell.

Her dark eyes stared defiantly in front of her, her lip not even trembling. The collection of nurses in front of her stared at her in awe and disgust, while the male doctor standing in front of the horde was exclaiming with gross glee.

"It's amazing! She's completely amazing!" he cried out, a sick look in his red rimmed eyes. A strange high-pitched cheer was produced by his throat in his excitement.

"Is she alive?" one of the nurses mumbled to another, her thin eyebrows hidden behind her hairline as she examined the 'patient' in front of them.

"Her shoulders are moving so she's breathing..." the other weakly supplied, her face slowly turning greener by the second as her stomach churned.

Yejin saw the flickering in her peripheral vision, felt the flames at her skin and burning the layers away with ease. She wouldn't react for these people, she couldn't. It felt like she's been in this place for a decade, and it seems these people finally got what they wanted from her. A part of her hoped that meant she would finally b
