Chapter 10
He couldn't make out what the man was saying, but he could clearly hear the irritation and aggravation in the mans tone.
The moment he came into view, Jihoon noticed he had a limp on his right side. He briefly wondered how on Earth this man managed to gain a limp, but his mind starting whizzing in a different direction. If the man could see him in the dark lighting, he would've noticed the slight up tilt in the corner of the caged boy's lips.
Jihoon forced his body to relax before being assaulted with the all-too-familiar electric current caused by the metal wand in the unnamed mans hand. He felt his body being dragged out of the cage into the wheelchair. The man was too absorbed in his own self to firmly strap Jihoon to the wheelchair, as is protocol.
As he was wheeled down the hall, Jihoon experimentally flexed his toes. It took all his will power to suppress his face from giving away anything. It didn't take long for the boy to realize if he didn't contract his muscles when being electrocuted with the wand he would have more power over his physical body.
It occurred to him when he was debating why drunk drivers in car accidents live when the non-drunk victim passes away. The alcohol in the drivers system gives them a slower reaction time, thus their body is more likely to go with the movement of the crash instead of against it, causing them less injury.
Now he just had to wait for the perfect opportunity...

Park Jihoon's eyes darted to the left the moment he heard footsteps and mumbling. The voice was the same voice as the man who kept shocking him and forcing him into that stupid, rickety, old wheelchair.
He couldn't make out what the man was saying, but he could clearly hear the irritation and aggravation in the mans tone.
