Beware
The Cliff Anonymous (An Author's Mean Confession)Beware
It's a flattering feeling if popular authors in this site subscribe to your stories. But as I found this one well-writing author (or so she declares), I'm gonna say -----> Beware!
Beware if popular authors are subscribing to your story, especially those in similar level as you (like no. Of stories featured and subscribers and votes). They're most likely be viewing you as a "competitor". They're just watching their backs. Maybe trying to look at how you construct your stories that they can "adopt" for themselves. I'm not gonna say that all authors are like this, but this one really took the cherry on top of the icing.
I don't know what kind of attitude she has, but I'm gonna say that I'm already not liking her even if I still hasn't seen her in person. I don't give comments about other stories, the more, diss on them, but boy oh boy, this author is on a different, whole new level.
There are many types of propaganda techniques -----> bandwagon, loaded words, testimonials, name calling, plain folk, glittering generalities, and transfer. Among these, she seemed to use one pretty well ------> name calling (definition: saying bad things about your competitor to sway the opinions of audience). I'm not sure if shes doing it on purpose, but she's really into the zone when using it. I've already seen her comment on the classic a-very-popular-band pairing fics, and she does this propaganda technique really good. Me: Like, witch, those fics didn't become classic for no reason, why do you have the need to still diss on them? It's too late, witch. Everyone already likes them, and your opinion doesn't matter anymore.
She does this unsuspectingly by sugar-coating her words with some deep, academic Shakespearean vocabulary to make it sound professional, and stupid readers are being stupid by agreeing to her opinions because she sounds smart (though I would say she's "trying" to sound smart. You may sound smart, but your attitude , witch. I know smart people and they don't act like you).
So she has this kind of page that is getting popular nowadays to aid readers find a good fiction, you know what kind of page that is. I don't know how she found my fic but I saw her subscribed to a few of my stories ------> all of which she's dissing on.
Like, at the back of my mind, I ain't doing something to you nor your stories, so why don't you leave me and my stories alone? Name-calling too much? Trying that desperate too much so readers will only focus in your stories? Desperate witch.
So I got my head together, and though I hate seeing my subscriber number go down, I removed her on the subscription list of one of the stories.
'Me to her: Like, are you just subscribing to my stories so you'll have something to diss on? Get your life, witch! Let readers decide for themselves if the stories are good or not. You didn't like it, huh? Then I'll remove you from the subscription list. Because I will be happier to have subscribers who actually enjoy the stories than witches like you who secretly diss about it to your cult of readers. Oh, I think I heard you say thank you for me clicking that unsubscribe button for you. You're welcome.
P.S. I have a rcently added one and she subscribed again. If ever I see her dissing on that story again, I'm gonna make sure I'll block her. I know my story's worth, witch. I'm pretty sure it doesn't deserve to be dissed upon by witches like you.
I also hope they'll put a 'Report' button in every author's profile. I'm gonna report her for being such a witch.
